Eb Games is always my candy store. This location is well lit and I found it nicely organized. Theyre very kind to children and take their time to explain things in a way a young kid can understand. Kudos EB.

My son is a HUGE DBZ fan, and EB Games now carries both Bandai and SH Figuarts collectable figures, as well as other dbz merchandise. Broly Fullpower was just released, and was in super high demand. We called several stores to no avail. We went in to the EB Games here at Vaughan Mills, and stumbled across the Endgame version of Thanos (also very hard to come by) and grabbed it on the spot. While at the register Liz engaged us in a nice sincere conversation about gaming and collectables. At one point my son mentioned the Broly figure, and she started typing away while talking with us. My son wandered a bit to look at some games, and Liz discreetly told me that there was a possibility she might be able to get one for me, but could make no promises. I appreciated the discretion so as to not get my sons hopes up to high. So we left, once again feeling we had gotten good value for our money, and happy with the customer service we have grown accustomed to. A few days later I received a call, and was pleasantly surprised to number informed that Liz had managed to get a Broly figure for my son. We drove down and picked up, and my sons eyes were like when he was younger at Christmas, all lit up, and excited.So a big shout out to Liz and all the people involved in making this happen! Picked up a new release game. Associate was friendly and attentive, even in a busy store. Line up for cash was a little confusing in these Covid times. I felt awkward and didnt know if I was in the right place or just standing around waiting to lose my place in line...I was called once noticed which made it better.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. I have 0 clue about video games or anything game related. My son had asked for a specific game for his birthday and I went in and said the name, they immediately knew what I was talking about and were also able to help me figure out which system my son had as well. The employee even had recommendations for other games similar that my son might like, so I bought one of her recommendations as well and she got it right, he loved both games. Really pleased with this location.

Literally trying to throw money at them but they wont take it. Inquired about a product that is in stock online. Cashier advised that its not available, I look at the screen it says quantity: 3. Alright, no worries Ill take a look around. Yep you guessed it - found it on the shelf. Okay no biggie, everyone makes mistakes. Inquiries about another product.. nope never seen it. Tried to save a few dollars but forget it, sticking to Amazon.

This location is small and there are some merchandise hidden in the back. Too bad.

Basic EB Games location. Didnt have any contact with the staff, as no one approached me. They had a lot of games and merchandise in stock though, so its a good place to go if youre looking for something that another game store may not have. Prices are what you can regularly expect from an EB Games.

I obviously know very little about Xbox and video games... staff were very patient and helpful in choosing a gift for my nephew. I highly recommend to anyone in my situation!

Kyle was very patient with us and helped explain everything about the Nintendo switch to us that our 2 sons have been asking about for birthdays and christmases. very helpful with answering all our questions and the platinum point card is a good deal

Typically EB games experience

As a pop collector this collection is poorly organized. When i asked for help i was denied and plainly insulted for the way i was handling the pops. Other staff was not as bad but still refused to help find what I was looking for.

100% customer service, good selection at this location. Only issue is the EB games trade in amounts, its almost always laughable and it takes away from the relationship youd expect to have with a company like this but thats not the stores fault.

Should help the next customer in line when the store is busy, instead , she decided to take over the cash register to help the customer who have more items. Came on launch day for super smash ultimate. They need to have more staff for launch days. Regular days if they have 2 or 3 ppl is okay. But if you know if a game is going to be launching, have more staff!!! Waited in line for 30 min. Next game im going to be downloading. Or not comming to EB to get it. This is how retail business that have brick n morter fail. Must adapt to customer base to be successful in a digital world. Came for an experiance, that I never want to repeat again.

Just called this location for help with a tab2 I bought from there. There is no warranty so they offered to try another power cord. I asked if they have cords to try and guy says he doesnt know. Hes doesnt know what cord need. Then passed the phone the manager and he still wouldnt check either and kept saying there are other locations that can also help you. Maybe these guys are to stoned to be working today. I told we wont come back to your location again. He said OKWOWThis location is only good at taking your money.

Alom was an amazing dude. He tried his best to see if he could locate a certain Pop, even though it ended up being sold out in the region.

Went to the mall on boxing day and huge line up... waited went in and got the last copy of the game, the staff(assuming he is manager coz he is kinda in charge and stand near the door) is soooooooooooo helpful. Because I actually want to exchange...did not know they said no exchange for this two busy days... and I was worried if after I will be more than 7 days so he said its fine you can. Then I feel not sure what U should get for the difference because the game I am getting is not quite same price with the one I want to return and he was running around really helped me pick. I am so sorry I didnt ask for his name. But it was so nice and I want to go back there again!

The EB games in Barrie where im from is better. Here no one could care less. Same games, but i guess whoever hires just picks whoever comes.

Of all the video game shops I go to, this would be the last place Id buy from. There prices are the highest out there and there trade in value stinks.

Alot of different type of games for many different consoles. They have games for the x box, play stations too, and the Nintendo switch. They have used games that are cheaper.

Staff isnt very helpful, but its my sons favorite store so I have no choice. I wish they would try a little harder to help customers, specifically when we are frequent customers.

Called to see if they had a used ps3 controller the guy didnt even want to check he told me no! I told him can u please check but he did not bother checking told me no right away. I actually went to the store to double check because i had a feeeling the had one and they did! They even had 2! Very bad customer service over the phone. As a first time ebgame customer i was expecting more then that!

Extremely unprofessional, many times I’ve had issues with this store and was lied to and slandered by management.Almost every time I call in about a question the employee tells me to call back another time because either “the store is busy” or “I’m on break I’m the only one here” and couldn’t be bothered to help me. In the time it took to tell me that; we could’ve been off the phone with the answer in-hand.Secondly what pushed me over the edge to write this review is management. My brother and I had placed two pre-orders for Call of Duty: WWII. After being told by management that the pre-order bonuses were not going to be in until late August (we pre ordered 4 months earlier) I wasn’t believing it. Truth be told I waked into the store and saw the pre-order bonus the next week, there, waiting to be picked up for those who ordered. But that isn’t where it ends, the management kept refusing to offer the bonus to me without reason and was very angry that I had kept checking in to see if they received it. Eventually they gave up and I walked out with mine and my brothers promised items. It wasn’t until later that day when a friend of mine texted me saying how the same manager told him that “your friend was in earlier, he took your pre-order bonus. I’m not giving you one you should ask him to give yours back.” Management used me as an excuse not to give out any more pre-order bonuses for whatever reason. Pathetic excuse and slandered my personal image. This is unacceptable slander in a professional business.I still do business with this store, but only cause I have to. Otherwise if there were another store located closer to where I live I would NEVER do business with EB Vaughan Mills again.

Ive never written a review for a video game shop before, but I feel that I have to make an exception here. This was also my first time ever trading up a console (OG 500GB PS4 with some games) for the PS4 Pro released today. The first visit was a couple of weeks ago where the trade in was seamless and the store credit was applied immediately towards the PS4 Pro. I was also recommended to get the $14.99 EDGE Platinum card which I thought was a useless upsell, but with all the perks that it comes with like additional trade in value credits and big discounts on items, its definitely worth it and has more than made up its value a few times over during the past 2 weeks. With the EDGE Platinum card, I also traded some PS4 and very old PS3 games towards the PS4 Pro and was pleasantly surprised with the amounts that I got. Today, I came in after work to pick up the PS4 Pro. Although I dont know all of their names, the staff here have been great throughout this process. They dont talk to you like pushy sales people, but rather friendly video game enthusiasts. Jacob was the one who completed most of my transactions including the OG PS4 trade in and delivered my PS4 Pro pick up. He was extremely helpful in maximizing my credits and giving helpful advice. I also have to give some kudos to Sarah who helped me with the trade ins for my old PS3 games, and Damon (Assistant Manager) who went above and beyond to ensure I got the $50 promo credit when I picked up the PS4 Pro. Just be warned however, this location does get very busy on weekends which is why I prefer to come during weeknights if required.

I bought a ps4 last Friday and today will not turn on. When I bought it the guy didnt apply my platinum card. I had got to EB GAMES AT ST CLAIR WEST. THOSE GUYS TOOK GOOD CARE. AND FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH ALL MONEY RETURNED FROM NONE USE OF PLATINUM CARD.

Been coming here for years, last time I was there, very rude/unhelpful employees, and deals arent that great. If you plan on trading in games expect literally nothing.

This location is often crowded on saturday and sundays, the selection they have is okay but nothing special, if they have what u want, they have it, if not they dont, the staff are okay, no t shirts in this location from what i saw, dont recommond coming on weekends only weekdays

Unpleasant experience and I didnt even step foot in here. There was a line up to enter the store, one associate was at the door to let people in. Took forever, finally at the front of the line and there were multiple parties leaving and he did not let me in the store. Told me to wait. I ended up leaving several moments later because this was such a big joke to me.

Not a good store staff isnt helpful and when I went to buy a funko mystery box from them they were all opened already and taped closed again. From what I was told from people they let people open them before buying they day they released

It is a small store that lacks a variety of games, it has very small stands and only have news, they do not have old (new) games from any console, it has used games and there we can find (if we are lucky) the old game that we are looking.The prices are average, however it has no offer in its games (since they are all novelties).
