I got some Mediterranean/Middle Eastern ingredients, notably a jar of ajvar (sweet red pepper paste). The restaurant next door is really good! I got a chicken curry and a lamb shank stew. Highly recommended!

They have halal meat and quite of good collection of south asian fishes - hilsha, rui, and others. I would particularly commend their staffs. They were super nice answering all the questions and also took time to explain different kinds of meats so I can make a conscious decision regarding my purchase.

It is great! Sometimes the shopkeepers dont know where the stuffs you are searching for are, but otherwise they have a lot of good frozen and regular items

I did not give a 5 only because some of the staff is not so welcoming especially at the meat section. I think the owner and hia family are amazing people and doing a great job at selling halal stuff.

I went there at the time the store was to be already open but store was closed. I waited for about 15 minutes but no one ever opened. There were several customers waiting and seemed upset to find the store still closed.

Indian food especially Indian fish, goat meat, other meat is great! Now Mediterranean food of great quality is also available.

This store is two businesses. Booth are good. Reliable Halal meat products and of course many spices and herbs etc... are on one side. Ive been relying on them since 1998. The restaurant is on the other side and it is also very good. Very clean facility, Very good tasting food. If that is not enough, the family and staff are very helpful and friendly people. 5-stars

It was OK. Selections are decent but may want to call ahead if you want to order meat.

Just small and lacked variety.

Right after I walked inside, I noticed none of the employees wearing a mask, so I left the store. It looked very small and unimpressive, anyway.

Update: was speaking to a friend who lives in Columbus. She said that she got pretty decent fish in December 2020 and the butcher, apparently from Bangladesh, told her that they get new frozen fish shipment every other week. I havent been to the store since the last visit (review below).The ownership seems to have changed from a Bangladeshi owner to middle eastern owners. As a result, any South Asian item (including the frozen fish) is very old and possibly stocked in pre-COVID times. On the other hand, the middle eastern items such as flatbreads, olives, cheese, halal meat and various other things are plentiful. I dont remember the a la carte restaurant from my previous visits, but when I was there this time, the food looked promising. Bottom line, dont go here for South Asian/Bangladeshi/Indian food (two stars), but the middle eastern products seem to be well stocked and par for the price (four stars).

If you look for something like Mediterranean food go there

Would absolutely return again! I got the lamb shank with rice and veggies. It was ridiculously satisfying with tender, fall-apart meat that was still juicy and the buttery rice went perfectly with the tart, simmered veggies.Owners were really friendly, and even gave us extra fresh-grilled chicken on top of the chicken pizza we got to go 👌❤️

Nice family owned store. The cafe side serves delicious Mediterranean food. Samosas are soooooo good. The chicken masala and lamb are so tender, it falls apart. Mama makes the veggies taste so good, you will easy every bite. For dessert you can choose from a variety of baklava. Then take a tour of the store. Its like visiting another country. Service is quick cause its buffet style and mama serves the food quickly.

This is a really nice grocery store to get a good piece of of lamb or goat. The now also sell some cooked food and desserts that look delicious. They are a really good local Indian store to go to.

Decent international (Indian sub continent and middle eastern) grocery selection. Vegetables are not always fresh here. Good selection of Fish available. And, fresh chicken and lamb with custom cutting available for a very decent price.

My family and I have been coming to Plaza since I was a young girl. Over the years other international stores have emerged throughout Columbus, but none have compared to this one! Their meats, poultry, and fish are the absolute top quality! Their butchers are very professional and always cut and prepare my meats exactly the way I want it. Plaza gets fresh baked bread daily so I am in here at least 2-3x week for some Nan. They also have many unique Health food and Beauty items at a fraction of the cost! My staples include their Organic Cold Pressed Coconut Oil and Black Seed Oil, and their Gunpowder Green Tea. Oh and they also get some tasty exotic produce like Cactus Pear, Pomegranate, and fresh Figs!

Pretty good store. If you need Indian/Arab spices and stuff definitely the place to go. Also if you need halal food they serve food like gyros, pizza, etc, but you can also get raw beef, mutton, chicken, fish, etc for cooking as well. Best for me is getting the frozen breads (like parathas) and that stuff. They have a good selection. Its a joint family business, so service can be a bit slow and the store may not look flashy, otherwise I am very happy that Ive been living close to this store.

Good halal meat and poultry available. A wide range of fish selection from Bangladesh for all the Bangladeshi and other fish lovers. Could be way more cleaner. The owner is a great person. Overall good place for grocery.

A hidden gem. The place looks a bit run down, but Janets Kitchen has the best lamb shank and chicken shawarma! There is hardly a place to sit and eat, so I usually get take outs like most people seem to do. They have epic dessert as well, Mediterranean / Turkish style. Do give this place a try if you havent yet!

Grocery: Almost everything is available here to run a home kitchen.Meat: They serve Halal meat but staff in the meat section is sometimes rude, they ignore the instructions of the customers like cut small pieces, remove fat etc...They do what they have to do anyway and they also charge extra to remove chicken skin.Location: Store is at ideal location because its near to the Mosque, masjid umar ibn al-khattab.Parking: They have 5-8 free parking spots and plenty of other parking spaces in the neighbor.What else? They have little connected restaurant with great menu.

We went in there for pita, and found several different kinds to choose from, several made locally in Cleveland. Local to Ohio anyway. All of them much cheaper then what you can get at Kroger.They also have real sheeps cheese, olive oil, and labnah. In short, they have all the staples that we went in for. All for good prices.Furthermore the woman who checked us out, who Ill assume was the owner, was very friendly. We will be back!

Food from the Middle East mainly. Sometimes the food isnt fresh which gives the supermarket a strange odor. Has a fresh selection of produce almost always.

Despite being in an odd location, its very convenient to grab grocery quickly, specially for people living in University Village. They have good fish from the Asian Subcontinent as well

Food is great as usual. The wait staff seems to burnout an hour before they close. Too bad for them. When I have to flag someone down for a refill or desert, the tips goes down

They didnt have the seasoning that I needed. For then to be a Middle Eastern store, I cant believe they didnt have Baharat seasoning. Out of all places, Krogers had it.

I am not sure if it was the manager, but this tall guy (maybe bald?) was not very friendly to me.I tried to return bread I bought that went moldy in less than 3 days.He said it was my fault and threw it away. That was my experience.It does seem to have variety though.

Has a lot of interesting items, but not a lot of variety. The cashier was using their phone while I was in the store which I find very unprofessional, after their phone call however, they were able to answer my question very quickly.

Have no idea why this type of shop still exist in western hemisphere!! They should be selling this somewhere in third world countries. Would like to give negative 100 stars. They store food/ fish/ meat in an unhygienic way. Why the city health department still allows them to sell expired chemically treated foods that is unacceptable for human consumption.

Price is also reasonable... meat collection I don have any clue... but the shop looks little shabby... stuffs are not bad, but not very friendly. But they serve the need... so ok...
