They made this a little easier through my tough time . They dont care about money they try to be as less of a money burden as they can ; they do a lot of free work for children who loose their lives so young. They consistently reach out to me to make sure Im doing ok even after putting my baby to rest . They are very caring and loving people and they have a lot of sympathy . Im grateful I went through them with the tough time Im dealing with they have brought me a lot of light . I highly recommend .

Mom had prearranged everything in 1987, so it made things pretty easy. Tim was quite understanding and compassionate during the whole process. I was pleased with the service Shoedinger rendered.

Family funerals can be stressful and concerning, but Schoedinger staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and pleasant to work out the details. They handled everything smoothly and efficiently. It was an unfortunate pleasure to work with them.

Tim at Schoedinger was the best kind of person to work with when you are dealing with sudden loss. While my family struggled to piece together what had happened and what was to happen next, Tim was there to immediately answer any questions we had. He responded to our emails or phone calls within hours, even on the weekend. They did everything right.

Our pet passed away on a Saturday night. Our vet had told us that Shoedinger is available on weekends. We called on Sunday morning and were greeted with a human voice. We got directions to the rear entrance for pets, with the paw print heart on the door(see pic). Pet cremation prices are broken into weight groups. You can even book an appointment to be present at the cremation. Services offered vary by price(see 2020 pic of prices). I felt the same condolences for my loss, as if it were a human. They have an understanding of how close a family member your pet was. When business was concluded, our pet was carried in. In 3 business days we received the call that our urn was available for pickup at the Gahanna location. You have the option of choosing where you want to pick up. We received our urn along with a very nice packet of materials(see pic). A form inside was to be filled out and sent back for the included engraved nameplate. It took only 7 days(see pic).In the past we have done this thru our vet and handled in a pet drop off, payment, pickup manner. Nothing special offered. Though IMHO we did not choose a special package. Service, satisfaction, and choices make this a 5 star experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to another pet owner during their difficult time.BTW this was all done during the Covid-19 pandemic, and they were extremely cautious for everyones safety.

Finding out that my pet Harley had cancer was a very trying time for me and my husband. Researching and trying to find solutions for him then realizing we would have to plan his final rest became more than I could bear. I used Schoedinger Pet Services for my other cat nearly 10 years ago. They didnt disappoint this past week with my cat Houdini. Houdini received the same loving care as Kitty Princess did. Schoedinger called to let me know when Houdini arrived at their downtown chapel for her private cremation from my vets office. A private cremation means it was only her and Im guaranteed that her ashes are hers. She was placed in a beautiful cherry wood urn with her name engraved on a gold plate on top. I also received a certificate of cremation, paw print, locks of her hair, with poems and literature on grieving for a pet. The price was slightly more than what I expect but worth it due to the service and care that my pet received. I would recommend them to care for your beloved pet in your time of need.

I highly recommend this company for your needs. During this emotional time, they were quick, efficient, and kind. The turn around time was wonderful, and the service was nothing short of amazing. Thank you all so much for taking such loving care of our girl.

They were very helpful with the cremation of my mothers beloved cat. My mother is older and needed me to finish making the arrangements. I called from states away and they were very helpful. I had questions about shipping which they were very knowledgeable about - there are rules/procedures. Overall, very helpful, very responsive and sensitive to peoples loss. Answered email and returned a phone call within half a day.

Our best friend, SOCKS, passed in his sleep Thursday May 31st. That morning he greeted Andy and went outside to bring in the paper, went to his bed in the closet and never woke up from his nap. It was 7 p.m.,well past normal business hours when we called Schoedinger to arrange pick up. He was treated with respect and care by the driver. The entire staff was sympathetic to our loss and made the arrangements as stress free as possible. A few days later when I went to pick up his ashes the staff was kind and explained everything with patience and understanding. They posted the tribute quickly and even made a change when I made a mistake in the copy.Losing a pet is a painful experience, Schoedinger can be trusted to care for your companion. Our thanks to them for all they did to ease SOCKS passing.

I want to thank everyone at Schoedinger for their kindness and compassion. Your therapy dog was also very sweet. I started to cry when I picked up my beloved dogs ashes and he/she immediately jumped up from under the desk to comfort me. It was exactly what I needed. I will never use anyone but Schoedinger.

I never write reviews, however under these circumstances, I will. From the day my baby boy passed up to the day I picked up his remains, I was treated well. They were with me the whole time while I cried rubbing my back. They offererd alone time in the quiet room so I could be alone with my Big Guy. I dont want to think of having to take an animal to have cremation services again, however when that inevitable time comes, Schoedinger will be the one to call and I strongly encourage others to do so.

Years ago this was an outstanding place to bring you pet for creation. I started coming here over 15 years ago. It has gone down hill over the past five years at least. I am looking for another pet cremation service. They seemed to really care, but now it is just about getting your money. Very impersonal; if you get them to come wait on you at all.

Diana was amazing to us. She helped us out alot with our dog Tiger. She called us to give us updates on things and she was just overall very understanding and supportive.

I had my dog, Jay, cremated here through Ohio States vet program. The people I interacted were kind enough, with the exception being the rude woman who works the buzzer at the main building who directed me to the pet services building. However, the service I purchased came with a paw print. The print I received was absolutely wretched, with only two of his toes smudged across the paper. They did a careless job and did not seem to think twice about it. For the amount I paid for my dog to be cremated separately, the most expensive service Ohio State offers through a third party, I expected more compassion and care. I specifically chose Schoedingers because of the positive reviews, especially from Jays vets, but my experience was nothing less than devastating. A difficult experience to begin with, the last sign of my dog I will ever have is a miserable, smudged black mark, carelessly thrown together. Seeing how little effort went into such a simple task, it truly breaks my heart to think of how careless they were with his remains. To Schoedingers, Jay was just another dead animal. The kindest thing I can say is that my experience with Schoedingers left me even more heartbroken than before. If I ever have another dog again, I will most certainly not use Schoedingers services. The worst part is that there is absolutely nothing Schoedingers can do to remedy the problem. My dog is gone, along with his paw prints, and Ill never have another opportunity to make it right.

Recently, my husband and I had to say good-bye to our rough-coat Jack Russell Terrier. While our vet does not contract with Schoedinger, they allow their clients to choose whatever funeral service they wish. We requested Shoedinger, as we had been happy with their previous services.Their services have only improved. They treated Rizzo with the respect she deserved. Individual cremation is standard practice. Your buddy with *not* be mixed up with the ashes of some unknown critter. They present the ashes (I hate the euphemism, cremains) to you in a lovely box for which you can order a custom name plate. They provide a booklet containing the Rainbow Bridge story, a footprint of your companion, clippings of fur, and some excellent advice and resources for the people left grieving.Their staff is warm, helpful, and caring. They are also animal lovers, which explains to me why they are so respectful of our companions when their earthly journey is at an end.I cant recommend them too highly. Schoedingers pet services are wonderful.

I wish you had an online Memorial Book to sign as many funeral homes do.
