Yikes. My first and last time going to this place. I ordered takeout on their website, and paid online as well. When I showed up, the guy asked for my name, didn’t see it on the table next to him. Asked for me to show him the order. No big deal, I showed him the email I got confirming it. He wanted the confirmation number, showed him that. Then he wanted my credit card number…which doesn’t even show up on the confirmation email (which doesn’t make sense, because if that’s another thing you need to pass the test, why wouldn’t they record it in your receipt?) I told him “hey, I didn’t bring my card in because I already paid for it. I didn’t think it would be this hard to pick up my order.” Went out to my car and got my card and showed him. He was finally satisfied and gave me my food. I just got home and opened the bag and noticed there was no rice. So either they forgot the rice, or they don’t give you rice with your curry, like every single other Indian restaurant does. I haven’t even had the food yet because, hey, I gotta spend 20 minutes making my own rice. All I gotta say is, whether it’s good or not, it’s not worth ever going through this hassle again.
Service was incredibly slow, online order place at 6pm for 6:30pm pick up, checked in 6:20pm and let them know we had arrived. They informed it wasnt ready. Despite multiple follow-ups the food wasnt ready until 7pm, 40 min waiting and 30 min after the scheduled pick-up time. During this time several others picked up while others also faced long waiting times. The food itself was also very salty, would not recommend.
Food : Except Biryani and the Karampodi Kodi chicken rest all average in taste.Kadai chicken was a big joke, maybe it’s our fault to order that. It’s like just adding Masala powder, mix and give. May be chef doesn’t know what is Kadai chicken in the first place.Lollipop was very hard. Naan was rubbery and burn out too.Facility : Spacious place with good ambience, but No toilet paper in the wash room, over all very very average experience with average food.
My experience wasnt what I expected. Went out for Dinner but got something else. All day long I was ready to eat this cuisine. We ordered food and received the appetizers soup and beverages.The food that was actually served was very flavorful however the service was not!We sat and patiently waited for the main dish to be served over an hour through the appetizers and soup.The server came out to the table several times and would say your Biryanni order is coming soon. We place a dessert order.The dessert comes out, but still no Biryanni.Then the server comes back to aak what kind of Biryanni did you order that it was not put in, but wait 10 minutes and we will have it for you. Im thinking REALLY are you kidding me.By this time we are ready to go so we ask for the check and just make the order to go. We pay leave a nice tip. Well another 10 minutes we are told by the server they are out of the Biryanni but could substitute for a different dish. We decline so the main dish is removed from the bill.We leave Im hungry its late.
Delicious food and authentic Andhra style biryanis. Their gobi manchurian is a must have. The biryanis promise a varied style and flavor, but can be a little monochromatic in their differences.For those who are sensitive to spicy food, be warned, and go with the minimal level of spice. This place does not shy away from their heat and the higher levels are going to make you sweat.Id recommend the Goat pepper fry, it is a must have. The hakka chinese options on the menu are not to be missed out on, very accurate rendition of Hakka style chinese food.
Had vegetable biryani it tasted good. But little pricy than restaurants around.

I would like to say the food is good and I had no complaints untill the last order I placed yesterday. The biryani and other rice items are OK.. I ordered tandoori chicken yesterday and I didnt check the order untill I got home. Im not sure if this is what you deliver. I paid $13.99 for 5 small pieces of chicken. In fact if I knew this is what you give I would have order another biryani or something else. Really DISAPPOINTED and I would NEVER ORDER AGAIN.
Nice quiet place to get some decent indian food. They have authentic indian beer too. The nice open dining area boasts spacious and comfortable seating. The service is prompt and the food is served piping hot in a timely manner. The flavor was delicious and prices were fair. The garlic naan bread was slamming dipped in tikka masala sauce.

The gravy(salan) given with Biryani was stale. Taste was bad and couldn’t have it. Biryani tasted good. Request the restaurant owners to take care of the quality of food.

Placed order for take out biryani veg and non veg for 8 people each.We got 2 pieces of chicken 😡 and in veg biryani it felt like eating potato and rice. Horrible! The quality is deteriorating day by day. I don’t think I would ever go back to this place. 😠😠😡😡
I always picked take out food from here when I travelled to Columbus. This time I stopped by for dine in with my family. The service was poor as no one came to take order and I had to call waiter multiple times to take order, during dinner and afterwards for check. After having food I saw an employee working in kitchen using restroom and not washing his hands. I complained about it and all the last in front desk said that she will talk to the people in kitchen. She never asked about who was that. When I told that I will update in my reviews, she just said go ahead and do that. She never apologized, never bothered about identity. I am done with this place. Will spread the word in my friend circle as lot of my friends go their often.
Service is bad and rude. They dont have the idea on the items on the menu and no proper response to the questions asked. It took them 1 and half hour to get the food.
Never again to this place. Worst service possible.Thalis are not refillable. They have a different meaning for Thali. And biryanis were literally frozen ones.
Yesterday I have ordered Hyderabad Chicken Biriyani and Amaravathi Goat Curry it has lots of Salt and too much Oil added. Unable to eat it. Very poor services. Looks like old stock they preserve with more salt and oil. Most of items have filled with oil.
Customer service is terrible. We had to ask them to take our order after waiting for more than 15minutes. They didnt even offer us water. Looked like they were busy with online orders and hardly paid any attention to the dine-in customers.
The staff was super friendly and they took time to explain what was in some of the different foods, and the food tasted great! I would definitely recommend!!
Food is always four or five star status. Service is typically two star.
Update - celebrated a get together at the banquet hall recently. Food served was superb especially the Achari paneer tikka, vijaywada chicken biryani & chili chicken.Special shout out to the current Young LADs (Sam & team) who are polite, friendly & energetic and did an awesome job with all the arrangements and food service. They were very flexible and accommodating and ready to help despite being busy with serving other dine in customers on a Sunday evening. Kudos to them(they deserve a bonus/pay rise). Thank you!Favorite for biryanis. Natikodi biryani and Bawarchi spcl chicken biryani are my personal favorites. 5 star for the food and service.Recently the family pack quantity has drastically reduced. Will be giving one more try and will revise my review. For now 5 star.

The place does not live up to the name of the Bawarchis, I have had ate at a lot of the bawarchi franchise places and the best ones are in Texas and mediocre ones here and there is most states, this place has the menu of the franchise , top exorbitant prices but below mediocre taste in terms of Authenticity of a Biriyani.Most people who have not had good Biriyani or just got used to the taste of Americanized Biriyani would appreciate the food but anyone who have had a good Biriyani cant in the right sense like it.Decor was good, service is extremely slow need to wait forever after ordering from menu, once order is taken no one cares to check with you, not even for water, not even for the cheque.I did like some of the staff politeness but its missing any touch of fine dining even though there are well kept tables in a nice decor service room.I wouldnt recommend it for die hard Biriyani fans.
Disappointed this time. We usually order family pack chicken biriyani from them. Today’s one had chicken portion drastically reduced, even found cauliflowers in it. Quality has definitely gone down. We will not order from there anymore.
Not only was the food great and reasonably priced but I’ve never experienced better service.
The food here is great! Went a couple of times including before the grand opening and plan to go again! Only issue has been with splitting bills hence the 4 stars. Also, dont be afraid to ask for extra spicy because it isnt that spicy (well at least for me!) and the space between seats in a table is really less so you feel cramped up.
The biryani does not live up to the name. We ordered mutton biryani to-go(and got chicken biryani instead) and chicken lollipop and both were very disappointing.
Mediocre is the word if I have to explain the food in a single word. But let me take a few more words to summarise what you might encounter here. First of all, if you have any high expectation, you are likely to be disappointed. The weekend special menu features some expensive options, none of them worth paying the price tag, hariyali chicken being the worst. Rest are edible, but nothing would make you feel out of the world.

Placed a pick up order on Sunday evening over the phone. They said it would be ready in 50 minutes, we got there exactly in 50 minutes but had to wait an additional 20 minutes before I was handed my food.Food tasted good overall but the portions are quite small for the prices.They also messed up one of our dishes and I ended up with a vegetarian fried rice when I had asked for chicken.

First of all we had to wait long time for someone to take order. Staff was not familiar with the dishes. Paneer Tikka Masala did not taste good. Finally, they were not accepting cash.
Thali meals, once an attraction is now converted into a combo meal and theres literally nothing in the plate. The best part was they dont tell the customers abt the combo when they order a thali. When we ask for a refill, then they tell that there no refill.Not sure, how long Bawarchi will survive.....guess till a new restaurant comes to Columbus.Some dishes are really nice..

One of best place to taste the Hyderabadi biryani in Columbus. This biryani taste like authentic Hyderabadi biryani and they have various types of biryanis (Veg and non veg). This is the place for food lovers apart from biryani they have all the indian tradition menu with south and north dishes. They started curry on crust - it’s Indian version of pizza with lot of Indian flavors. The have good amount of sitting and small party hall.
Worst customer service - we waited for more than 45mins just to place the order and they come and say that they are out of food! Just don’t go and waste your time guys!
The quality is reduced fairly to give it 2 star. Ordered boneless chicken biryani and gutti vankaya biryani( wanted to try it out). Unfortunately biryani rice was same for both. Rice tasted the same. It was dry n no taste. You could easily tell that they made pulav/ biryani rice and just added pieces( veg/non veg) to it based on the order. Very disappointed. I dont think it was like this before. Decided not to go there again. Not sure about other dishes but pretty sure that we wont get biryani from there any more.
First I was hesitant due to visitor but it turned to be very good. I tried daal makhana and Hyderabadi goat biryani. Yummy !
Being a foodie, I absolutely respect the amount of effort put in getting the right balance of Flavor and Love in Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. I strongly recommend trying their house special appetizers and curries too.On a side note, Ive never had better Gulaab Jamoon and Rasmalai anywhere else in the city of columbus.

The food was absolutely delish.Completely amazing so the complaint is not worth not going.They used plastic cuttlery and plates. We truly wanted actual dishes. And they served water in a bottle versus water in glasses.And our table was never bussed.No one came to take the dishes away.We were a party of 7.Stuff started piling up.The guy who served us had a wonderful attitude though. Truly liked him.

Is the worst of the worst restaurant and location I have ever seen, I tried more than couple times And I never left the restaurant satisfied if I order it will take them over an hour to prepare for one meal only, and I strongly dont recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Last night we ordered Guntur Chicken for a pickup . This place is just not following any safety norms by allowing people without face masks inside the restaurant . I literally waited for people to come out before I could get inside. They can do anything to get business. It looked like they just don’t care.On top of it, the Guntur Chicken was horrible to taste. He just fried the chicken and gave it. There was absolutely no flavor.This is not a first time experience for us. Last time they double charged on 2 different cards. The owner said it would be refunded, but till date it never did. We made multiple calls and gave up. I didn’t want to fight for 40$. They have absolutely no ethics and the owner is super arrogant. He behaves as though he is doing us a favor by serving the food. BIG BIG CHEATS. ZERO STAR for this restaurant. Never ever going back there.
Ordered from here for the first time tonight. The chicken vindaloo was the best I have had in any indian restaurant in any city to date. Very flavorful, plenty of spice, and just delicious. Ordered two different Biryani dishes. Loved both. Good portions, great flavor, and just excellent. Ill definitely order from them again!
I ordered the paneer biryani but except rice there was nothing else, do not go there these people only know how to cheat there customers, when I called her she said she not gonna give me refund back and she not gonna charge me anything next time for the same order , I drove all the way through Marysville to her place to gave her paneer biryani back, Hyderabad house is way better than them , don’t waste your time to these people they don’t even deserve 1 star. Worst place just to make money cheating their own customers.
I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. I ordered panner biryani and there was only rice and small piece of paneer thats not even taste like biryani I just feel like ate just rice with paneer. I called them and she told that I am not able to make refund and I have to go there and take the refund from them. Not recommended at all.

First time here. Food was very spicy, which is my preference. I feel the portions are small for the price, but tasty. Atmosphere is a bit stark, not very homey. The dishes were paper plates and plastic ware. For $13-14/plate and $120 for the 5 of us, I was disappointed in the presentation and quality of the service. Has Covid ended dishwashing?! Are we no longer deserving of a ceramic plate or glass for a beverage?! Food is decent for pickup. I will never sit and eat there again. Ill drive to Taj Palace off Mill Run.

I ordered shrimp(royalu) curry to go and they gave me chicken curry and made me wait 45 minutes as it will long time to cook shrimp. And when I reach out to the restaurant they say they cant do anything. I dont like the way they treat the customers. And I paid for shrimp which is costlier than chicken.I am never going back again and suggested my friends too.

I just spent over $54 on 2 Shrimp Masala. The order had 4 small shrimp each. No garlic nann bread and the sauce was cold!! Save your money and go ANY where else!!

I do not need to go out to eat, so you were welcome for my money!!!Owners are rude and cant accept responsibilities for their miscommunication which equates to horrid service.I specifically requested anything with chicken and rice.They gave me chicken only.I asked for rice the owners said they had absolutely no rice.(thats real interesting because the two sets of couples at the booth all had rice on their plates)I then asked to return my food so I can get my money back to get what I actually wanted from another restaurant.They said they couldnt do that because they close the cash register! (Then open it)Im essential Covid worker.I hadnt eaten for TWO days and all I wanted was RICE and CHICKEN.. I was very specific on that!(trying to gain weight)I legitimately got a total of two slices of naan, and four chunks of chicken for almost $14.00 ARE TOU FREAKING SERIOUS!!!!!!
