Best steak in town! Seriously amazing. This place is always packed, but the wait is always worth it. The Margaritta pizza my sister got was also fantastic. Highly recommend this place, it feels like home.

Wonderful restaurant with a classy feel to it. I recommend the steak or fish dinner, they were both cooked to perfection. The staff and manager are top notched. Even though the restaurant was busy The manager stopped by and asked how was the food and asked if we were enjoying the evening. I was him visit every table. Did a mention the wonderful wine list? Just go eat there and see for yourself.

I popped in for the first time the other day and in pretty happy with the experience. Ive heard pretty good things and I can say that Marigold lived up to what I heard.Their pastries are varied and delicious. I went at a time where their dining room was closed between lunch and dinner, but the small seating they have to enjoy some pastries. The staff is kind and fairly speedy, although I will say the overall atmosphere is just bustling, which can be attributed to how popular they are.The good is good and their pastries are lovely too!

Incredible, welcoming and caring staff and service! Everyone at Marigold treated us like family it was our first time and we came in near closing on a weekday. Rather than hurry us along they were so very kind. Walked us through the menu, brought an extra salad and truly took care of us. Absolutely the best service Ive had at any restaurant in years. Absolutely fabulous. Amazing salads fish, baked goods and staff! Ive been back twice this is now one of my favorite restaurants in the Springs. Today we enjoyed a beautiful lunch on the patio and it was absolutely beautiful.

Want a classy dinner with a great family feel atmosphere? This place is the best. My very favorite is the rotisserie chicken with a side of fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. Chicken is cooked perfectly, and my food is always hot when it arrives. The service is wonderful, and my experience is great every time I go. Save room for desert, because they have so many options at the bakery. The coffee cake, and the strawberry frasier is delicious!!

This is one of the most amazing restaurants in Colorado Springs with some of the best food and fresh in-house made pastries! We go there as often as possible and annually when my family visits for my son’s Birthday. The owner, Gus, is one of the best and most genuine people I know. He takes the extra time to talk and greet every table. A true family feel from a family owned local establishment! We truly love this place! Thank you for the years of amazing service!!

Wanting some yummy treat we decided to try this place. We sat at the bar and enjoyed creme brulee and tiramisu. It was out of this world! Its a little pricey but as they say you get what you pay for. On top of that the staff was engaging and playful and quick and efficient. Will definitely be going again and again.

What a wonderful place to dine. Stopped for lunch on a Wednesday and had no problem getting seated. Wife had a BLT which she really enjoyed. I had the Ruben. Only one word needed to describe it. WOW. Really delicious. Many more items on the menu that looked really good. Wait till you see the amazing desserts. This is a place worth heading to.

What an amazing restaurant! We hadnt been in a while and decided to enjoy dinner for my wifes birthday. The food was amazing and the service was five star! Gus, the owner, visited with us several times to make sure our experience was everything we had hoped for. Dinner was great, the wine was very reasonably priced, and the dessert doesnt get any better. We will be back many times!

What an amazing dinner. We visited for the Fillet Mignon Special. This dinner was so popular that it took a little longer to have our dinner arrive (could also have been one of our group desired well done (yuck) but he enjoyed it). Everything was wonderful.

I had the beef bourguignon. AMAZING! The beef was fork tender, melt in your mouth. Even the carrots were excellent.

Everything we ordered was outstanding food and quality. Also very good desserts. I wish this restaurant had a location in Scottsdale. We would be there every week. Definitely one if the best meals we had on our trip. A definite gem worth eating anything on the menu. I would come back to the area just for the restaurant.

One of the best steaks I have had in my life. The food and pastries are amazing. My girlfriend ordered the veal which I loved even more than my own food. The sauce in the veal was unbelievable. The Creme Brule was baked to perfection. The presentation was top notch. And who can forget about thw amazing oysters we had as appetizers. Also the staff was very friendly and a gentleman who I assume was the manager kept checking in on us and making sure everything is to our liking. Also their complementary bread and butter, I could eat all day. Will definitely go here anytime I am in the Springs.

The food was good (better then adequate). Prepared well with good ingredients. The chicken brie sandwich on sourdough was very tasty. The service was adequate. Three adults and 2 kids under 5 left full and happy.

Marigolds is a family favorite in our house. The food is phenomenal and the service is even better. In addition to our regular dinners, we often stop in for a few pastries! We have also planned a large reception recently and couldnt be happier with how everything was handled. The management went above and beyond to fulfill our wants for the reception. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and genuine. The have the best tenderloin in town and always cooked perfectly!

We went this afternoon to this restaurant to buy some cakes and breads. The front worker was very grumpy. She didnt even say hello or anything when we greeted her. I didnt ask her name because I didnt believe she would have wanted to talk at all but she was tall and white. I even thought maybe she was having a bad day so i tried to start a conversation myself but she wouldnt even bother to answer with more than 1 word. She was bothered when we were buying multiple stuffs, which seemed weird because she should be happy that we were buying from the restaurant. At last we tipped her a decent amount, again, just thinking she might was having a bad day. But to my surprise, she didnt even look at the receipt that we put the tip at and kept is aside like a piece of trash. No thank you or anything when we were leaving. I regretted for even going there. However, the cake was amazing.

Hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in quite some time. Friendly service and great food- topped the night off with a slice of raspberry cheesecake that was out of this world. Don’t pass up this opportunity for a delightful meal.

Food is best place in town. Why 4 stars? I would like a new location or larger place. When you enter there is no place to wait. Too small in bar area. Hostess needs bigger area. Over all they either need a new location that is bigger or a second location. They are always a 5 star for food. Service is usually 4 or 5 stars. Servers are long-term. A few could use more training to upscale their service. I mean this place isnt a Dennys. Enjoy the servers who are there to cater to you with style. 😇

I come in fairly often after work when I need a sweet treat or a delicious baguette for dinner! My favorite is the hazelnut torte if you like something chocolate-y and light, which in my opinion is so hard to do. Recently every time I go in the line is out the door for the bakery and the restaurant but that doesnt stop the workers from being kind and gracious!! Mary usually takes care of me at the bakery, and it is rare to see her without a smile on her face. Havent been in for lunch or dinner yet, but will definitely soon!!

This is our favorite restaurant in the springs. We go once or twice a month.First off the food is top notch (even the kids dishes)! The atmosphere is warm and the owner, Gus goes out of his way to far exceed any expectations… just truly a special restaurant and Wait staff!

I have only gone here for their desserts on my way out of town. The first time we order one of their chocolate cakes and a tart. They were really good and I wish we had bought more! The second time was 2 different types of tarts, one with apple the other with mixed fruit. I preferred the mixed fruit one. I love stopping by this place when I can. Definitely recommend it for dessert.(have not tried their food)

Service and cuisine is amazing. I had the beef burgoneis and far plate is fillet mignon for my wife. The Dessert is the Frasier. Perfection. The third plate is double bone pork chop with a brie crust.

Marigold has a delightful atmosphere. The dinner food is delicious. But save room… If you haven’t had dessert from Marigold, you’re doing it wrong. Their fresh, house-made desserts are all delectable. I love to come to Marigold with a friend simply for some dessert and a drink. When we need a delicious cake for a special occasion, Marigold is my go-to. Be sure to order your whole cake at least 24 hours in advance.

I know so many people Rave about marigolds I dont know what it is but Im just never thrilled it seems rather expensive the food quality is good but not great I dont think its a great value. This last time I had a burger which wasnt crazy expensive and it was pretty good. I will say the fries were very good but I still rate it a 3 there are so many other restaurants that I would rather go to

I have never had a better experience at a restaurant. The staff were amazing! I had not seen their make a reservation under contact us and they fit us in on an extremely busy Friday. They did not bat an eye when she said reservation were full but give me a second. They had all the right charisma and attentiveness. When they seemed to not meet their own mountain high expectations they were quick to come up to them, far before the guest even perceived an issue. Their food was exceptional. Their desserts the best I have ever had. When you are colorado springs or even passing through one must stop here.

What a wonderful experience! Being natives from Colorado Springs, we have heard nothing but rave reviews about this unique establishment, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. So glad we did! My Mom & I had Nancy as our waitress and we each ordered a nicely put together sandwich and salad. The food was tasty and well put together but, honestly, the best part truly was the service and ambiance . Nancy greeted us with a smile, made sure we were comfortable and that our meal was prepared to our liking and even went above & beyond to communicate with my Mom, as my Mom is deaf. With the caring, friendly , professional ,spot on service, and wonderful food, our experience was a win-win. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING!!!! We went for our friends birthday and they went out of there way too make it the best evening. I’ve never seen a restaurant so consistently have excellent food and above and beyond service every time we go. We had Dan as a waiter and he was attentive and sweet. Gus, the owner came by and was so eager to make our visit the best it could be. The food was and ALWAYS is the best in town. Marigolds never disappoints!! Can’t wait to go back!

I got double chocolate mousse cake for a birthday and it was ( and still is ) a very delicious cake! My husband is a chocolate lover he tried a lot of different types of cakes ( lol and pastries and all chocolatie stuff) he said that was one of the best chocolate cakes hes ever tried! Will be back to try other stuff there :)

I ordered the Hazelnut Torte for my boyfriends birthday and it was BEAUTIFUL. One of the best cakes I’ve had in awhile! Not horribly sweet like most cakes. Will definitely order from here next time I have an event for sure!

The Marigold is always on my must do list when in Colorado Springs. Highly recommend reservations and don’t be surprised if you still have to wait a bit…. It is that popular for a reason. I have yet to have a bad meal and the waitstaff is very professional. Daniel was my waiter this evening and he made our experience perfect. In hopes of trying more things, I shared my meal with my friend. We had the muscle and clams for an appetizer, followed by the Gorgonzola salad, then we split the veal and added sides of Spinach and mushrooms. We capped off the meal with chocolate martinis and a piece of the strawberry cake. So glad we shared everything. It was all delicious and I hope that I get to come again soon.

Absolutely incredible food and service! Everyone loved their entrees and desserts and the service was impeccable. As a bonus, we had a large group with two young children and were seated in a separate space that allowed them to move around without disturbing any other patrons. An absolute must to visit!

We were greeted as soon as we entered the business. Food was very good, service was better. We had a great time visiting with friends and family. Drink refills were frequent and timely. The staff was great.

Went to Marigolds yesterday. We have been going to Marigolds for years and the quality of the food has been consistently good. The deserts are also great. However, in all those years, they havent changed one item on the menu. Summer, winter, spring, fall is all the same for at least 6 years. The wait-staff has changed rather significantly for the worse. They are less attentive and there are fewer of them. The napkin that our bread was served on was soiled with food when it was delivered. We are tired of the same limited selections and will be looking elsewhere in the future. To a lesser degree but noteworthy is that nobody on staff wore a mask so if you are still concerned about who is vaccinated and who isnt, you may want to be more cautious.

Nice place to have lunch, but not many selections in the bakery. The bread and croissants were delicious! I had a lunch “combo” which was French onion soup and half a sandwich. It wasn’t the greatest but satisfied my hunger.

Excellent food! Muffaletta and grilled Reuben. Creme brulee and their extraordinary version of strawberry shortcake.Only objection...NO LINGERING.I wasnt finished eating before dishes was whisked away. I had a bite in my mouth when he asked if I was finished. My hand signal was too cryptic.

Went here for lunch. Got the roast beef sandwich, which was really good. Only complaint was that the sourdough bread was too fresh, and fell apart when eating the sandwich.

First time back since Covid. I believe there are new owners. My food was good however my dinner companions veggies were cold. No one checked back after we were served. I had to flag some one down because there were items missing from my meal. The item I asked for never came. The hostess was awesome and the floor manager gave me extra bread when I asked for a doggie bag.This the three stars.

Tonight we went for a girls night to celebrate a friends milestone birthday. Our server Dan was excellent. The owner Gus came by a couple times to say hello and check how our meal was. I cant wait to find another excuse to return for another great meal!

I will never be returning to this place again until the narcissistic, abusive employee named Douglas is fired. I am disgraced that he is even allowed to work there and no one has done anything about it, even after becoming aware of the unspeakable things he has done. Very phenomenal and excellent restaurant! I enjoyed having a simple garden salad and french onion soup. Fresh, authentic and filling for a lunch, but I mostly enjoyed eating the desserts! You can taste the flavors and richness of it. Not store bought, at least, it didnt give off an old taste that indicated it. Definitely enjoyed the service and this Italian cream soda! So glad to come here. I definitely recommend.

In my humble opinion, the best restaurant in Colorado Springs and perhaps beyond. The best prime steaks in town and the service is outstanding. Food is impeccably prepared at a reasonable price and in a warm atmosphere. Gus takes extreme pride and gives his own personal touch to make guests feel welcome. Desert is outrageous. This was the BEST meal Ive ever had and the service is beyond the definition of exceptional. My wife and I are on our honeymoon and someone named Gus (who I believe to be the manager or restaurant owner) gave us not only free dessert, but a chocolate croissant to take home just to top off the experience. I can’t say enough good things about Marigold Cafe! Each time we visit is a consistent and wonderful experience from the food, to the service, and everything in between. The staff is kind and attentive and the owner never fails to greet you and make you feel like you’re family. Very, very disappointed. $29.00 for two salads and one veggie sandwich. We only had water to drink. Surprised by the long wait for food. We told them no cheese on sandwich and what did we get, cheese. Then we finished our salads and had to wait for our redo-sandwhich. I mean really how hard is it to make a veggie sandwich. I will never return. Not even in a pinch. Would never recommend to anyone. Such a waste of money. 🥴😢The pictures on their web site are deceiving. I did not see all the different pastries in their case. Case only showed cheese cake. Pictures show croissant for sandwich but that was not offered.The topper of all of this was the bathroom. I went to use womens bath and in the stall was an open sanitary bin with bloody napkin exposed 😳. Real nice ending to a unsatisfying lunch.

Their patio is a pleasant place to enjoy a meal outdoors. Their wait staff is courteous and efficient. And their chicken curry sandwich on gluten free bread is yummy!

Not exaggerating. This was the best dining experience i’ve ever had. The Veal was crazy good and the fruit tart made my eyes roll back in my head. Dan was an incredible waiter. He was personable, quick, and had great suggestions. I can’t wait to come back.

The food was absolutely amazing! Definitely at the top of places to gor for food.HOWEVER the service can not be given the same praise. The server we had, Glenn, almost seemed bothered by any questions we had about the menu. He was also very slow and hardly showed any interest towards us. Im not sure if this is normal for him of if he was having an off night, but as a first time customer this was not an experience I expected.

Nice service. The food was good. No complaints on the salad. The desserts are good but expensive. The water and beer glasses were very dirty. Twice we requested clean ones. They need a new system to clean these glasses.

The guest service agent at Glen Eyrie Castle recommended this place. I had just proposed to my now fiance :) and made reservations for dinner. We were a group of 5 and they treated us very well. They asked us what the occasion was and when they found out, they provided a complimentary caprese salad. We ordered a few dishes to share which ranged from Ribeye steak to pasta. The food was delicious and fresh. At the end of the meal they offered my fiance and I to pick out desserts to take home on the house. A very good experience with great food and great service.

The first time my husband and I visited this place we were shocked by the food and the service. You could tell that whoever owned this place genuinely cared about their patrons. Now for the second time we came for our 1 year anniversary and again we were treated with wonderful service and excellent food. This has become our favorite place in town. Our experience was amazing! While nothing caught my eye, everything I tested was incredible. Not only that, but the owner/GM Gus, was fantastic. I couldnt recommend a better local French eatery. Definitely try the pastries! Everything is fresh and delicious.

A bit on the expensive side, but worth it! Great food, great service and staff and management is always warm, friendly, generous and attentive. ONe of our go to places for superb dining.

The bread was delicious! the tiramisu was not great. It was super boozy had a gross texture the presentation was not even appealing. The pasta dishes was adequate. The cajun linguini was ok the shrimp was overcooked. My husband had the claims and pasta and it was delicious. The calamari was fried with the wrong oil. It was really heavy and overcooked.

I didnt eat dinner at Marigold but I did eat dessert there. The chocolate raspberry mousse cake was one of the most delicious things I have eaten. I highly recommend it.

I went here so far once and I got two of their bakery foods which was an Apple Croissant and a Cinnamon Twist and it was very good overall. I do wish the Apple Croissant had more apple filling in it but other then that, both baked goods were delicious! It was fresh, the bread was soft but had that perfect crunch to it, the apple filling was really good in the croissant and the cinnamon filling in the cinnamon twist was the best! Also, the price actually surprised me, it was so cheap for those two items that it really caught me off guard! Definitely recommend coming here for cheap but amazing food/baked goods!
