Small things go a long way!I ordered some stationery from Promateworld online store recently.Though it took a few days longer for the delivery to come, which they make their customers aware on their site, citing the Covid19 related lockdowns and restrictions that prevail; and the sealing of the neatly branded box in which the ordered Items came (image #1) was slightly torn; all the items were there in perfect condition (images #2 & #3); along with a proper hard copy of the invoice with the PAID seal on it (image #4); attesting to the professionalism with which they operate!Inside among the stationery was a small green Thank you card, giving their contact details both telephone and email, requesting feedback - a small but a refreshing gesture that indicates the kind of customer care they intend to provide (Image #5) - that also prompted me to put down this brief review in return.* * * * * * * *However there are lots of potential and room for improvement!Therefore, giving them four star rating out of five. An obvious improvement needed being the product range!Though theyve got the basic stationery items on board, theres a lot more products they could and should start sourcing, if they want to position themselves to be the supreme brand of stationery shop of the island, catering to the stationery and related services to the full range of not just in store customers but online ones as well.For example I was looking for a glue stick but they were not there, so instead I bought a gum bottle. I also wanted some post it notes pads and coloured sticky flags that you use for book marking that I couldnt find on their webstore.Anyway theres a vacuum when it comes to good quality stationery shops, that provide not just quality products but also stationery related services with genuine customer care without pretense, in many parts of the country, even within Colombo.Perhaps a chain of branded shops catering to the entire island! I visited CIBF 2020 exhibition, & purchased goods from the Promate stall. Later noted that i had purchased only 1 ball pack, but had been charged for 3 !Made a complaint, and their customer services person attended to it fast. They send the replacements FOC.Seems Promate is a professional entity, and i look forward to buying their products again!

The worse experience. Almost all the staff were playing games on their phones and not assisting customers. The selection of stationary is very limited and overpriced. There are better places to buy the same stationary for a cheaper price and with better service.
