Being afraid of negative reviews, gone to the hotel. But had a very good experience. Serving was very good. Lot of parking space for bikes and cars. Ambience was very good with neat restrooms. Price is bit high but loved the dishes. Located nearby Peelamedu bus stop. Can try atleast once.

Was there today with only one table being served. As I entered I asked two waiter watching IPL if they serve. They had a why disturb us body language and reluctantly nodded yes. After a trip to rest room I was waiting at my table for 10 mins. No one showed up. When I asked loud no one responded. Then I walked up to the counter to ask, “would they serve a customer or not”. I got a defensive response not even a lip service sorry. Infuriating it was, I left the restaurant and no one was even inclined to stop me.Excellent customer orientation especially when the restaurant had no guest and empty.I guess the owner tightens the belt of his team and train them on showing hospitality to a customer !

Nice ambience and hospitality... limited items on sea food... otherwise good with chicken platters especially DRAGON CHICKEN is must try and prawn fry is too salty may be it was that dish or days mistake... mixed fried rice and mutton biriyani is good, but couldnt say excellent on comparison... more over quantity is a much sufficient one... better order 2 main dish and share with 3 if you are not that good eater for good eaters 1 main dish will be much sufficient and staters too are good in quantity... quantity wise 5 Star... Parking available... and bill value is 1200 for 3 on avg including main course and starters...

Over spicy biryani and gravy for a meals burning spicy which was unable eat..order fish finger which was over cooked and burned as black.being a well known restaurant not provided mayonas and alternate tomato chass provide which was terrible combination.ambiance was good and for non veg meal they provide small silver plate leaf (first impression itself disappointed)and not full banana leaf..

Food is okay. The place is not clean and a foul smell kept coming all over the pace. We went tere on a rainy evening maybe it cud be bcoz of tat. We ordered for chicken biryani, chicken stuffed Dosa, chilli chicken, bun parotta, veechu parotta and lemon juice. Taste was fair enough but ambience wasnt good and the service personnel were looking unclean.

Had a very bad experience with this restaurant. We went there because its a very popular restaurant in Coimbatore. But unfortunately, we were very disappointed with even the simplest of dishes we ordered. We ordered for sweet corn chicken soup and to our shock it was full of sugar, too sweet that we could not even consume it. Then we raised a complaint, they took it back and said they altered, but still no improvement. Then we ordered for a starter called fish 999 and to our dismay, we spotted so many cooked rice inside when we started digging it. We dint even go into the main course after that. Just paid the bill and came out.

We took our seats. The menu was placed in front of us. Its was more like an expensive thick brochure. We ordered a few starters and lunch.We are a couple who love to eat out. We keep on experimenting with our food by visiting a variety of restaurants to have food.Sitting at SMS restaurant we expected some really sumptuous stuff on our plate. But we were a sort of disappointed. The food was nothing to rave about. The quality was not bad but the taste was average.The cost was not very high. But for the money, we were paying we expected better quality and taste in our lunch.One thing that I loved was that food was served on nice banana leaves. Quantity per plate was also good. Two people cannot have in one plate of the dish but for a single person, the quantity of food can be heavy.The staff was pleasant.There was a small issue with the egg biryani that we ordered. It spoiled our mood of spending a peaceful time together at the restaurant.Even though the issue was resolved it left a bad taste in our mouth.Would I suggest SMS as a place to have food?Yes, of course! Its a good place to be at with your family, friends and loved ones.Taste is something that depends on each individual. We did not enjoy the taste of the food. But you may love it. One should never cheat with food. The worst experience we had during an auspicious occasion. We booked a hall along with food for 200 people but the food was not even ready for 120 people. The owners never apologised or provided any support and only the workers were present. We kindly request you not to pay the full amount or most of the money in advance as they are cheating.

Worst food quality. We went to the restaurant around 9.00 pm and ordered dishes for take away. 1) They packed a gravy(wrong item) instead of starter and when called them after reaching home, explanation given was we did not mention whether the dish should be a dry or gravy. Really dont know how a starter can turn into a masala.2) The fish was half cooked. When asked they said its late so it would have happened so. The restaurant should say service is over instead of serving half cooked food. My kid would have had food poison if he had eaten the half cooked dish.

Takeaway trauma: A couple were making a stand that they were waiting for 40 mins still their takeaway (shouldve assumed the situation and shouldve left for a better place to get served).My story: waited for 30 minutes only to find that my order never made it to the kitchen. Not an ounce of empathy/apology from their side. After 55 minutes of waiting I get served the dish I didnt like (poorly staffed people with poor system software!) Not the way to start a weekend night. #pathetic #👎🏼👎🏼

The ambience was so perfect, and so soothing. The food was delicious and seved on time.

Good food. The service could have been better. But the worst part is there wasnt any water for hand wash. Customers were forced to take drinking water to wash basin. Very bad !

Worst in service, they are giving priority only for Zomato and Swiggy . They won’t mind the customers.

When the MRP (Maximum Retail Price) is Rs.20/-, these ppl are charging Rs.25/- for 1 ltr. excluding GST. In addition to tat they are charging GST (5%) i.e. Rs.1.25paise.MRP for 1 ltr water bottle is Rs.20/-They charged Rs.26.25paise.

Worst.. i went there after a long time,ordered simple dishes everything is bad,noodles is salty,wheat bread was hard you want to break it,Mainly the prawn pepper dish is burnt,i informed and returned and they gave a new plate which is prawn manchurian,the waiters was forced to say this as pepper fry as the chef dont know to cook it,as i felt bad for the waiters .i did not eat that and paid the bill.think chef now there was a local guy who dont know to cook,oly advantage is car parking,better park car and go for shahi grill which is exactly opposite.1500 for 2 persons is completly waste.

Best car parking space in avinashi road. After dine in sms before picking your car, dont forget to have icecreams in cream stone right next to it and also inside the permises border wall itself.

No mayonnaise for grilled chicken and they didnt kept water too without asking and the servants are very lethargic. The hotel is not like as before very changed and didnt even liked their dishes.
