Its a Hub for many trains. U have lift to go to platforms. U also have elevators and steps. Round the clock u have autos and taxis available. located in centre of city. Many good restaurants, bars, hotels and hospitals nearby.

This is the best railway station in South India under southern railways. Kept neat and clean.Announcements are very useful and clear. Escalator and lift facilities are available.Breastfeeding facility also available. Trains to Kerala and Karnataka are operated from this route.

Wonderful station specially in term on cleaning and lighting. There is bridge and underpass as well to change platforms. Heavily occupied all the time similar to all other Junctions. It is really spacious, attractive and safe station. Locomotive engine dummy is an attraction point here.

This station located near coimbatore medical college hospital and state bank of india head office. Presently due to covid 19 less trains are operating from this junction. Most part of the kera district trains from otherstates need to cross this junction.

The Buses to ooty and mettupalayam starts from saibaba colony bus stand which is 4 km away from here. Bus transport is frequent and cheaper, all online taxi services available. Airport is around 10 km away from here.

It has 8 platform and clean platform and safety place has wheelchair facility and polite railway staff which comes under salem city division foods are all better but passenger train are not much that other cities.

Actually Coimbatore railway station was normal not so special and outside view of railway station is good and construction goodBut railway staffs are dont have patients to provide a train ticketsThey are only told fault is oursWe are not a kid and we are not working here to know the all details about train timingsIf we written all details properly so simply they reject the form and said this train cancelledBut when I checked the train is availableSo its happening for mostly all peoplesBecause I seen everyone first the fall their not treated as a customer they treat like a studentSo working staff behaviour and arrogant characters I dont like

Well maintained beautiful station, good behaving staffs on site.

Park Inn offers decent stay at budget rates. A standard non AC room for a single person is available at Rs 1350/- plus taxes. This includes breakfast, wifi and news paper. The rooms has a bed, 2 single seat sofas and table, 2 extra tables to keep luggage and other items, a full length wardrobe, a dressing table and mirror. Even with all these items, the room is spacious enough for you to move around easily. Plug points are conveniently located on either sides of the bed. There is an intercom phone and LCD TV. The channels available are limited with mostly regional language channels. The toilet is well equipped with a basin, commode, bidet, shower and tap. There is hot and cold water for bathing. There is plug point near the toilet mirror for hair dryers/ironing etc. Free Wifi is good. They will give you a separate username but same password for your mobile and laptop. In case it does not work, the in house technician is quite helpful. Breakfast consists of juice, bread, butter, jam, fruits, coffee, tea, dosas, sambhar, chutneys, upma, idlis. The room service is efficient and the food is fine as well.

I really like Coimbatore because I keep on going there every week for chilling and enjoying my day in Coimbatore. There are 3 malls and a car museum to spend your timein Coimbatore. Coimbatore is neat and clean place.

Pretty small and congested. Doesnt have a car parking, Only two wheelers. Even if you bring cars just to drop someone in the front youd be greeted by jeers and loud bonk horns to keep moving. Even before you could complete the dropping. The place would be swarmed by a lot of people. High COVID alert. And people would be just lying by there at the entrance. Like theyre having a time in their beds at home.

To work outside from coimbatore and to reach back here is always a soul peace. Luv loads.

Its a bit crowded railway station but it has now implemented new ways to cross between platforms its actually underground ways insted of a over passes its actually really good experienceAnd at the time i arrived, i had the opportunity to witness an inauguration of a new train UDAY its was not an ordinary train we see every day its was a double decor coach which in a sense , the train is actually similar to a normal tarin from the outside but it has a vibrant orange colour and it also has two decks in every boggy upper and lower. Over all a nice experience at Coimbatore junction

Situated in the Heart of the Coimbatore City. This is one of the Busiest Railway station. Bus Stand, Collector office, Register Office, Court, Commissioner office, Corporation office, Income Tax office, all are in surrounding areas. Lot of people from Mettupalayam, Pollachi, Tiruppur, Palakkad are regular traveler. There are 6 Platform. Neat and clean maintained. Underground path, Escalateor step, AC waiting hall are there.

Good waiting room, clean toilets and platform. Its very rush here which is common in railway station. Hiring a taxi or auto is very easy as it is available in large number right in front of the station. It is easy to catch bus as the railway station is situated in the main street and bus stop is at about 100 meters from the station exit.

As tourist you can visit one place police memorial Saveur which is opposite to railway station. This place has booking counter, toilet, platform ticket and etc. Boarding and lodging also available. You can easily reach to velliyangiri hills and isha yoga centre.

One of the well maintained station in southern railway. The subway is very easy way to reach out the station. A swiss made locomotive engine is displayed on entrance which was operated between Mettupalayam and Coonoor and was withdrawn from service in 2012.
