It is an academy hostel meant for State forest Officers & Range forest officers recruited through different state public service commissions.The academy operates under mandate of MoEFCC, government of India thereby should not be confused with some private hostel (as I found some people confusing it with)

This is not accessible to everyone. Only officer trainees recommended by respective state governments by a means of competitive examination can stay here. They stay here for a training period of 2 years. The officers mess is run and funded by officers themselves.

A place with full-fledged facilty of Indoor games, accomodation and neat and clean comfortable single rooms.

This hostel is not open to common public. Only CASFOS forest Asst conservator of Forest Trainees get to stay here as part of there 2 year training.
