Currents is a super fun place to swim at. They have a kitty pool that leads in to a deeper section. The kitty pool part has a kitty slide and water features and sprayers. They also have a lap pool with a small shallow area for playing water basketball. They have a climbing wall in the lap pool too. Currents had two water slides one is a tunnel and one is open which lead into a shallow pool. They also have a hot tub. With covid you have to reserve a time to swim. Once when we reserved there we did not get to stay the whole time because a kid threw up in the pool. We did not get a refund. The locker rooms are big and mostly clean but very cold when you get out of the pool. Great place for the most part.

Its kinda crowded but other wise it is very fun and its a blast but sadly I lost my socks so did my step brother😆

Post Covid as of posting there are still limited amounts of people allowed in. Be sure to call the number listed to make reservations ahead of time. Water slides, huge hot tub, pool rock climbing and the kids had a blast.

Our swim appointments have been messed up twice now. Its a major bummer when you get your toddler all excited and packed up to swim and have to tell them actually we cant swim bud because someone has scheduled us wrongTWICE. We are pretty bummed about it. I had an appointment for 2:00 today and I called to double check because of the issue they had last time and the gentleman said no we have a group at 2 so they just bounced us off, without a phone call or anything?

My son absolutely loves this place! Seems to have a little something for everyone! Slides, water features, lap lanes, and a hot tub that is setup just right to be able to see the kids playing while you relax!

They are simply the best with little ones and families!

Great city run aquatics center with a great splash park area for younger kids and a lap pool for more serious swimmers. Very affordable for families, friendly staff and they have family locker rooms!

Our favorite after school place to go! Between the water slides, the climbing wall, the hot tub, basketball hoop, swimming lanes, the splash area, and the younger kid slide, my kids and I can all find something to keep us moving and happy.

We always have fun when we go here. Little something for the whole family. The water slides are fun, the rock wall is nice to shake things up (if you have younger kids they make them to a swimming test before they will let them climb the wall though). And for the little little kiddos they have their area as well. The hot tub area is always piping hot and on point. Not expensive either. They have towels you can rent if you forget yours. And they even have bins of bathing suits if you happen to need something. They have the life jackets there too. Very accommodating place.

Nice 4-lane 20-yard swimming pool. Water is at about 80 and constant across the pool. There are water slides and other attractions for whole family so it’s a decent place for both swimming and family visit

A little too crowded for me, but my kids absolutely loved it. It seemed very clean! Also kind of wish the Birthday Room was a little more private so others arent staring into the room while youre trying to have your childs Birthday!

The staff was friendly and they were very cautious with the children and the place was very clean. They felt very safe

I have never been to a place where they charge parents to supervise their children. If your kids are older, you can sit outside the pool area, trust the lifeguards and supervise them from there, but if they’re younger and you’re getting inside the pool area to watch your kids, you’ll have to pay! I have a child with different ability so I had to go with him. I decided to just go swimming than pay the fee to sit there and watch. My children had fun and the lifeguard who was there was wonderful but this policy needs to change. I read some of the comments here, and I’m not the only one who thinks it’s ludicrous.

Fun for the whole family, they have 2 pools and a hot tub and 2 water slides. Very clean and nice the only thing I would say is that the lifeguards are not very friendly. Great for something fun in the winter.

Stopped this time to try out a snorkel with the kids.The staff is friendly, its always clean, and they have some swimming for everyone.Lots of chairs for those that dont want to get wet and lots of pools, waterslide and a rock climbing wall.Good times!

The water is so much warmer than it has been in the past. My kids can actually stay in the pool for a couple of hours where before it was about a half hour. There are multiple lifeguards on duty, that enforce the rules of safety (which Im thankful they take it seriously.) There are extra jackets if your child needs one. Water slides for older and younger children. Great fun for the whole family!

Its small, but sufficient. Parents can watch their children from the hot tub area, seating around the pool or join in the fun. The kid pool is shallow enough for my 9 year old to reach the bottom all the way around, my 7 year old can reach bottom for a large portion of it. There are a few lanes for lap swim in the deep pool. 2 water slides to entertain the kids and a climbing wall to jump into the deep pool. They even pulled out an inflatable obstacle course while we were there.

The family locker room was a bit dated, but my 3yo loved the pool and the little water slide. They even had life vests for kids to borrow for free

Awesome place for a Birthday party!

When they say dont leave things in the locker room - believe them. Our group of 6 girls lost 2 towels, 2 brushes, a bra and pair of panties in less than 2 hours. A blemish on our otherwise way-fun experience. Love the pool, slides and hot tubs.

Good swimming center anytime of year. Good options for very little swimmers. Two water slides. Climbing wall. No need to worry about a sunburn, its all inside.

Pretty decent place considering there are so few indoor pools here. Plenty of things to do. You cant bring small kids in the water slides. The actually prices were way off what the automated phone said. We mentioned and they still charged us the full price. Its not that Im cheap its called not taking responsibility for their inaccuracy!!

Changin rooms are clean. Pools are great. Kids have so much fun. Can be a bit crazy sometimes. Swim lessons are available. Hot water pool is relaxing. Good place for all ages.

Love the place. Prices are a little too much especially 600 dollars for a family year pass. Who can afford 600 dollars for a swimming pass for the family? Would like to see a better deal or specials.

We traveled 70 miles to bring the 5 kids to swim and was told we had to pay to just watch them. Their rules clearly state that adults have to supervise, and i agree. But dis agree with being charged to watch over my kids. There is nothing on the cost for someone to just watch. The wife and i will not be back! Just a way for them to to get extra money.

Took my 4yo, nearly 2yo, and met friends with 3 and 1yo. The splash area was fun with a small waterslide and shallow water. Kids were worn out after 1.5 hours. Fun, cant wait to do the big slides!

My little boy is autistic, and when i forgot to bring his swim suit, they found a pair we could borrow. It saved a him and me from a melt down. So grateful.

Updating my review. My last review was negative because of one bad employee Currents had. Since shes been gone Ive noticed better treatment from the rest of the staff. Remember that good customer service with a smile is always important.

Generally a fun and unique indoor swimming area, Currents does have some lanes for lap swimming but focuses on the fun side with a splashing play area, a hot tub, and two fully-fledged water slides. It can seem small before too long (after all, it has to fit under one roof) but its a great place to take kids, especially for a party or event. Everyone can enjoy themselves here, but its definitely focused on younger ages.The facilities themselves are fairly new and well-made, without any problems as far as I can tell. The price of admission might be slightly more than an average pool but is still cheap enough to be an affordable choice.

Great place if you are watching your child. A lot of parents are not watching & there are too many kids for the lifeguards to completely monitor. I have seen many kids get stuck under the floating toys in the deep end.I love that they provide free life vests & some toys while you are there.

Incredibly expensive they even charge for babies. They have no security cameras covering the locker rooms and people are regularly stolen from (my kids birthday money) Ive been to several water parks and as small as currents is it charges either the same or more than the massive ones I have visited in other states. Will not be returning. If you want a fun water park to take your kids to go to the one in Hamilton.

Had an amazing time but the facility is getting a bit too small for the amount of people who want to visit. It needs to be expanded. This was a good idea but its time to make it grow.

Great indoor pool. Fun stuff for kids to play on/with, and large open swim area. They also have a couple lanes for lap swimmers. Nice place to go for a few hours and swim without getting a sunburn. Along with traditional mens and womens rooms, they have a nice big family changing room. Very convenient with small children.

A really fun family place to go during the winter months

Great place for the kids to swim and learn to swim. Its an indoor facility that makes for swimming fun outside of summer time. Slides, laps swimming, hot tub and large kids pool make it an enjoable place for the family.

Nice facility but pretty stupid to charge parents $3.50 to be in the pool room to watch their kids. Also, you have to walk around a ways to get to the locker room to get in to get your kids. Other than that its a nice facility and the kids had fun.

So with being one of the few places to take kids swimming on a bad weather day its nice. But it seems to me to be over crowded. Most of the staff are super nice and helpful but some are just grouchy and did not want to be of any help at all. They rather just sit on their chair and seem to stare blankly out as if ready for it to be over already. I also I went home with cuts on the bottom of my toes from some areas of the pool bottom being unpleasantly rough. So all in all Id say Ill stick to nature if at all possible .

Went with grandsons. Had a great time. The chlorine level in pools was quite high. We had red, itchy skin when we were done swimming. Very strong smell of chlorine on skin & swim wear. Also floor of pool litered with dark gravel and miscellaneous items from kids & adults who swim there. My grandson stepped on a pierced ear ring that punctured his toe. They need to spend a whole day draining and cleaning the pools.

Good place for families & kids. Nice large swim area for kids with 1 little slide, small waterfall area and water spouts spraying up from the floor. They have a deeper area with a basket ball hoop and a rock wall climbing area. The rock wall is only available @ certain times so if your going to check that out be sure to ask the friendly people @ the desk. There is also 2 water slides there that are pretty fun for those that 4 or taller. There is no diving board and at least 2 life guards on duty at all times who are actually paying attention. There is also a rather large hot tub but the jets are pretty weak. They have 4 nice family changing rooms which make it easy to herd your small children & get everyone changed and ready to swim or go. Facility has always been very clean with friendly staff.

Always fun for the whole family

It is nice to have an indoor swimming pool to access for children during the winter in Montana. That said, It is hot, loud, stinky, kind of dirty, and full of screaming children. What did I expect you ask? Pretty much that very thing and I have rated accordingly. Its ok.

Wonderful pool facility geared toward families. Wadding pool, two water slides, hot tub, and large windows. The lap lanes are shorter than standard lap lanes.

Its great for swimming. Tickets are shipped and the place is awesome for kids and adults

This place was fun, it was my first time here. A couple lifeguards were rude, but other than that it was amazing!!

Great place to let the kids explore and swim. They have life vests you can borrow if your child needs one. Pool noodles, kick boards and more toys available for all to share.

Way too much chlorine or other chemicals. I got water in my nose on Saturday and have been in excruciating pain for the past 3 days. Idk how much chlorine you have to put in a pool to make this happen, but wow. I talked with coworkers and apparently this is a well known issue with current.

I had this to four stars awhile ago. Then today when i bring my kiddo to swim 9/ 3 i have to pay 3. 50 to dress my child and watch my own child swim. 🤔🤔 not to mention the young lady seemed to be pretty annoyed . Told me and my daughter we had to set down and wait to go in. But let other familys go in. 😐 i came back from seattle to visit. And I am very disappointed.

This place was full of kids who were having a blast. There arent very many lanes for swimming, so if you want to get some laps in pick a less busy time to go.
