Pothy Moopanar born in Srivilliputhur belongs to a heritage family of Weavers.In 1977, his son K V.P.Sadayandi Moopanar was able to establish the name and expand the outfit with a self-styled retail showroom at Srivilliputhur, re-christened POTHYS . Their next showroom was opened in 1986 in Tirunelveli.Pothy Moopanars children and grand children run the business today.

I went for a immediate purchase with a descent budget a sales rep approached me and was not impressed hearing my budget with hesitation to the extend in his face he showed me the shirts. while there were another affluent family he not even bothered to tell me to wait he just walked off dint even care. then i took the shirt i wanted gave it for billing and moved out. the joke is your dresses dint even last for week. i would have given you a straight 0 for your partial behaviour and less quality materials. after the treatment of your staff my whole day vanished with a bad mood.
