Great experience. A best travel destination for bike riders.I had visited monkey falls last Saturday. The entry fee for monkey falls was ₹80. But still it was a blissful experience.

You can enjoy directly under waterfall or dip in small pools as the water flows or walk around and chase butterflies, insects and reptiles.Just few metres around the falls, you can have beautiful view of the river.Reach early to avoid crowds reaching, especially on weekends.Ample parking space available at the entrance.

Monkey falls also known as kaviyaruvi. Located on the foothills of Valparai after cross the forest 🌳 check post. This beautiful greenery filled falls is a seasonal waterfalls, where we can enjoy with clear natural water during winter and spring season (November to February) and during the occasional rainfall period. Very neat and clear, less steps, near to the main ghat road. RECENTLY FOREST DEPARTMENT RENOVATED this falls area. So they charge entry ticket for each individual according to the age slab. THEY HAVE DRESS CHANGE ROOM for both genders. Recommended for family enjoyment. Water is clear and clean. Forest department is maintaining it too. AVOID PLASTIC, SOAP , SHAMPOO Usage to maintain as it is. Save nature. Live it . ENJOY IT. Have happy life 😄🎉

Very beautiful place. Easy accessible. Government is developing the place,Two years ago it was bit difficult to walk on the path to reach the falls as it was like small rocks.Now its fully steps, u can just climb the stairs, they have room to change for men and women separately....

Entering both to valparai and monkey falls is chargeable including bike and car. On the foot hills of Valparai, good scenic place and water is chill and nest place to take photos , rocks are quite slippery and there is a separate room for ladies dress changing. It is the bus stop. Monkeys are everywhere so its better to keep things safe.

While entering Hill area they charged 50 per person and vehicle, after that we travelled 3 kms to reach Monkey falls and again they charged 50 per person and vehicle ...for other hills like ooty,kodaikanal they charged only for vehicle . With this price cost from people but not providing the good facilities like Restroom, Changing room

A good place to spend a weekend, on the way you would see the aliyar dam and also would enjoy fish fries. Little further you travel, there arrives a check post. You need pay 50 per head and vehicle (rate depends on vehicle) as entry for forest area (only for tourists, if you have someone to visit at valaparai you don’t need to pay entry. They might ask for id proof of person you are visiting). For falls you have separate parking area and dress changing area. Dress changing area is bit nasty and collects 10 rs per head. Falls entry is also 50 rs per head and parking charges.Falls is really nice to enjoy, but water will be available only ah season time.Entry fee are high apart from that a good place to enjoy waterfalls.

Actually went to see the falls, finally ended up having a good bath and spend over an hour. Change rooms are available, both free and pay and use. Theres an entry fee to this place and a parking lot available on the opposite side of the road.

Monkey falls offers us a good n scenic view for the visitors,which is located in the foothills of valparai.The place is so neat and you should have to take Rs.50 pass for entering to the waterfalls..There is a small temple beside of the ticket counter and right opposite to the temple there is parking slot..

The place is very good. Enjoyed a lot.There are A LOT of MONKEYS which can snatch ur bags, snacks and may even enter into ur car. BE CAUTIOUS.We have to pay 50/person and 50 for vehicle and additional charges for camera(DSLR/DRONE). This fare is collected at the entrance as the entrance fee.As we go into the ghat we get many places such MONKEY FALLS, DAMS, SAFARI Rides etc.We have to pay entrance fee for all the places we visit in the Ghat which is as same as the entrance fee(which we already paid before entering).And also we have to pay the parking fee every time we park in any of the places.Entrance Fee for entering the Ghat is different and entrance fee for the MONKEY FALLS and others is different.

Not a bad place to be, please make sure you have some clothes to change to, and also call and ask whether it is open or not.

They are collecting entry charge. Place was more suitable for kids and old age people.

Sometimes they will close the place without prior info. So make sure before reaching the place. Drinking and eating near the spot is not advisable due to monkeys. An entry fee of rupees 30 per head will be collected as entry fees. Road is in excellent condition and the route has many good view points

Compare to siruvani water fall (with chilled water) it is having fresh water with safe & plain area for bath under water fall.. Cool place to just refresh urself....

The waterfalls is set in a location very close but offset from road and that makes it special. The place is well maintained and changing rooms are available for both men and women. Parking is also available right opposite to the entrance. A nice spot to spend time with family and kids.

I had been with my friends to Monkey falls during december and its a really excellent place to relax and have a nice bath.Monkeys are plenty and we should remember that we are at their place and should not worry or attract them with our feeds, else you are inviting trouble.

Nice place but dangerous construction, below that waterfalls some steel bars are seen they are concreted to rock and also cutted so emerging upward. If you slip into that rock it will fatal careful for that

A small falls nevertheless a good place but the maintenance over there is nil. Govt should take actions to maintain this place as the name suggest this place has lot of monkeys. One monkey even get inside our car when we try to take the clothes from our luggage from the boot. Luckily the monkey took only the cucumber and left out the kids were very scared as these monkey seems to be attacking the people. So beware of the monkeys here.

Nice place.Ticket rate adult 30Rsnatural sceneries with beautiful forest hills and chill water. Have a wonderful experience. Wild elephant can be seen on the roads.Marvellous and superb waterfall touched my heart and we saw wild elephant crossing the road. Beautiful hills with cool climate.Coming down from Valparai to Pollachi we saw the crowd near the Monkey Falls entrance and after buying the ticket we walked through the narrow rocky path to see the Monkey Falls. Being a holiday it was bit crowded but still we managed to reach the bottom of the waterfall and the feel of the sprinkles from the water cascading down from the top of the mountain was a special experience. The kids were taking bath and playing in the water, the Monkeys as usual followed us to see whether we will give something to eat. After sitting beneath the groves of the rock covered by the creepers and watching the waterfalls and Monkeys for some time we started back since it was going rain.

Fantastic spot to spend a day. Ice cold waterfall where u can just have fun standing beneath it. But beware of the monkeys around and dont carry any food items in your hand, they are very smart enough to pick it away from you.
