We went for a take away order. Food tastes top notch. Pure non veg treat. Biriyani was good with enough spices and good aroma.Price is higher and quantity is less compared to other similar hotels. Packing needs some improvement. Meals package comes with many gravies but all are less in quantity but tastes excellent.

Parata is uncooked very spicy, chicken is raw... Made us furious. Worst food ever. Even if u get it for free pls dont have it. Naangallam madurai karanga ya. Food and taste blood la ye oori poiruku.

Went for dinner It is too costly for the quantity which serves by the hotel,taste also not worth of cost its ok, but it is not at all a dine in for the middle class peoples. In biriyani also there is no much meats and quantity for cost.they are using lot of gingelly oil in parotta and ghees in biriyani.not everyone like this. Requesting the hotel to provide the quantity of the food for the cost.we didnt feel like traditional food

What worth the price didnt like the taste dishes

Are you overwhelmed by too many choices? Do you indulge on the first tasty item on a buffet or pace and plan to taste all the dishes? This place will try your mettle and endurance on a lavish south Indian non-vegetarian lunch meal. You select from a list of side-dishes, based on which you name the order. We went with a Mutton chukka meal and a Mutton thalakari meal. This gets you a plate of the item plus unlimited rice and unlimited servings of ten varieties of non-vegetarian gravies, along with the usual rasam and curd with veg poriyals (like we need those). In addition we ordered a Mutton brain fry, just the side-dish and not the meal, as there were only two of us.The staff were friendly and patient. The menu card is not very intuitive, as I have spelled it out. We had to ask the servers and figure it out. As we finished each item, they asked if we want x,y or z next and took us through all the ten plus a couple of repeats and rasam and curd. At some point in the meal we saw papads being served to some people and being ones not to miss out on an item, we also asked for them. The final item, the peanut candy, was given at the billing counter on our way out. All this for around 300 INR based on the combo you select! Major bang for the bucks.So, alright, good quantity. What about the quality and taste you say? Full marks on those too. No over stuffed, filled up, bloated stomach feeling, no unwanted after effects. In fact, we decided to walk home and stopped at the Sri Krishna Sweets origin store nearby for some of their famous Mysorepak. That should tell one about how stomach friendly the meal was. Even though the servers asked us if we wanted some cool drinks or lemon soda types, we declined and never regretted.Go already and enjoy. Just make sure you have the appetite, the time, the patience and the right company.Next time around that zone, dinner will be tried, tested and evaluated. This time we will be going with high expectations, so let us see ... :-)

Wow after a long time we had a amazing a south Indian non veg food . This restaurant has valet parking which impressed me a lot . We tried non veg virundu sapadu with mutton chuka and vanjara meen fry. They started with salt two veg porial and karavadu thoku which was amazing . Then we were served with 8 non veg gravy chicken , mutton , fish , era , crab , netli, natu Koli gravy Karavadu gravy . Then we tried bone rasam and finished with curd . The taste of era , crab and mutton gravy made me go crazy . All Gravy are so spicy must . In many RESTARUNT we fell full after few dishes as they add something in rice to avoid serving more food . Here at pattukottai mess I never felt I am full I tried all dishes with out any trouble even after food we never had any discomfort . Planning to go again to try other dishes .

Disappointed with the lunch.Location and ambience is good. Thats it. Everything else is sub par.The number of items on the lunch menu was ok, but nothing tasted good. The mutton sukka was a total flop, the chicken gravy was sweet and sugary, and the veg sides were horrible.The service was poor and the price was high. They forgot the sweet dish and there was no kadalamuttai as mentioned in the menu.I am waiting to see how long they will last, as RS Puram is a very competitive area with many good restaurants nearby.

Horrible experience at this Branch in Coimbatore. The chicken in the briyani was so very Rubbery and the briyani as such was cold and tasteless. Complained not once but twice and the management did not even offer to find a solution or replace the dish. Just paid my bill and walked out. I really wouldnt recommend this joint if you are a foody. Forced to rate it one star as there is nothing less than that.

Would rate 3.5. Firstly, the hotel hardly has any connection with Pattukottai or the cooking style of pattukotai. The service was good, hospitality is appreciable. The food is tasty and spicy. Very spicy though, that could be an issue for people who eat food of normal degree of spiciness. The location is prime but then parking is going to be an issue. The capacity of the hotel is about 50 heads. It’s worth a try, you wouldn’t regret..

Not an ideal place to visit with family because they will not have enough food to serve and make you wait for 30 minutes or more while having food.

They served us stale biriyani . It was old and heated and they claimed it was made that afternoon. Very Poor restaurant standards . We politely paid money for the soup and left and refused to order or eat anything more . This could have caused health issues and they dint seem apologetic even a little bit .So most of the food thats served isnt fresh , its all heated & stored .Would never recommend it to anyone who is concerned of their health.
