We have stayed at this place more than 100 times over a period of 20 years. this place is quiet old and very well built. the usage of wood at that time makes it still look premium. the hotel is constructed with very good ventilation and good lighting. the plan of hotel is one of the best in india because its well ventilated and illuminated with natural air and light. the place has a huge car parking and it is very rare in an hotel in the centre of the city. the staff are all well trained and courteous, service minded. even in breakfast fast they get you everything hot as you asked for food. the place is maintained very neat and clean for almost so may years but this time be found that the bathrooms have now become really very old and maintenance is tough though they have tried hard to keep up the service. they must consider a little mordenization of rooms and bathrooms and introduce in room kettle and tea coffee maker. other wise awesome people, awesome hotel and best location.

Had a great experience here. This place is very famous needs no promotion.

Service is poor.. room maintenance also not good. When trying to check in during mid night, no body was available in reception. Even securities also not there. They are not offering complimentary breakfast as they specified. Simply not an apt place for staying.

Best place to eat. Even thinking about it makes my mouth watery. It is better than KFC the chucken is soo soft and you get garlic sauce free in a large box enough to complete a bucket. And the colosa 🤤 it is fentabulas. I recommend you all to try this atleast once in your life time. It is soo good i cant stop thinking about it.

Worst Hotel ever I stayed. They rank it 3 Star but don’t recieve any service for that. Pretty old place.Beds with Bed bugs.No Room boys to check into the room had to go by self.Water not coming through the faucet.Useless place.Staffs are not trained, guess the management don’t have money to run this hotel. It’s better to shut it down.

One of the oldest ( every cab/ rickshaw person /rather every one in Coimbatore knows this place -its a Landmark in Coimbatore) & decent place. The staff at the place are also very friendly and always smiling.Rooms are pretty clean & good but old fashioned with spacious bathrooms.The breakfast served is just awesome..The manager of the veg restaurant is just a lovely person.He keeps an eye on every guest in the restaurant and the guests are attended promptly and always with a smiling face.

One of the oldest hotel but now lost its credibility. Located. Close to Nanjappa Road. The hotel has Nine floors and balcony is dangerous with not a great protection. Free breakfast can be avoided as its much below standard. Only advantage is huge Car park. I booked a room through goibibo and unfortunately it was non ac so i had to pay an extra 1200 for upgrade. They did not give bill for the extra amount collected.

Good to stay....Staff is polite and service is good. Room is clean and neat. Only bathroom floor is little dirty which they have to take care .

The hotel is good. It is pretty close by the railway station. The parking has ample space. Morning food I would rate it as average. The bed was not single, it was two cots put together. Travelling with kids might be a problem.

A truly traditional hotel that stayed this way for the last 30 years that I have known it. The default choice for families who want to stay in the center of the city. The rooms are huge and every one of them has a balcony, which is rare with other hotels at the same price point. Absolutely value for money. I will always stay here whenever I visit Coimbatore.

Pros: Excellent location, ample parking space, lots of restaurants, shops nearby, close to main bus stop and rail station. Rooms are spacious. Variety of veg and non veg food to select from. Cloud 9 restaurant situated in the 9th floor is really nice to have dinner with friends and family. Room service is good with nice staff.Cons: Hotel looks old and a face lift with bright colours will help the look better. Rooms/corridors can be more clean. Wifi did not work properly for the last 3 stays of mine.

The party hall was good enough to have limited invitees and with dining moderate taste. Both veg and non veg items are served. Centrally located have easy reach to bus depot, railway station and the air port is fairly far off. Boarding and lodging facilitiesare available. Never feel sorry if you choose and avail services here.

Ample car parking but rooms are old

City Tower has been our refuge during the frequent travels to cbe for work since 2013. We feel safe and comfortable here. Dont expect a luxury stay, the place is old and not as well maintained as before. But it is right in the center of the city with ample parking. Decent complimentary breakfast too.

I visited the restaurant called as cloud 9 which is a rooftop restaurant. The non veg food was not good but the veg food was good. Serving bad quality nonveg stuffs.. non veg sizzlers here is a complete waste of money. a worst experience with respect to food. Ambience was bit okay and pricing was also okay. Not too costly. And they have a huge parking space. I gave rating 3 for the ambience. I can give only 2 star or food.

Normal place for a short stay. Rooms are ok, not great. Things i liked : 1. Toiletries are good. 2. Balcony is spacious where you can relax. 3. Priced normal, not too less compared to their neighbour Hotel Heritage Inn. 4. Hot water flows like hot spring. Amazingly good to relax yourself.Things that are OK : 1. Bathrooms are small and old styled. 2. Room smelt damp. Air freshners could be used. 3. Buffet brrakfast option is too limited, and i was served ice cold Idli and vada. Sambar was bland, chutney was a saviour. 4. Reception : Although i have informed 2 days in advance and booled over phone, the person at reception did not have info. Fortunately there were rooms available, so he was kind enough to check me in. this could be improved. 5. Bath linen is old and rough and was stinking, needs change urgently.Rest of the stay was uneventful. Youll like it if you like it oldschool.

Nice hotel. Situated in the heart of the city. Some 4 minutes walk from bus stand and 5 minutes drive from Railway Station and 15 minutes drive to Air port. A little bit old style. The car parking is very spacious. Roof top restaurant is good here. Staffs are good. Two kitchens separate for vegetarian and non vegetarian.

A very good place for a family dinner. Excellent ambiance, one of the only few hotels which have different kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. With a large parking space, this hotel provides premium rooms for stay too. It has built its reputation for ages now, but I believe they havent yet upgraded to compete with other restaurants in the city.

They have many restaurants inside. Ground floor: veg, non veg and fried chicken restaurants. Its my alltime go hotel for past 9 years. But in my current stay I felt the staffs were all changes and not upto the mark and shows attitude.. Rooftop restaurant takes 1 hr 20 min to server soup and main course... And that too after repeated pushing.. Not as expected. Not as how good they were earlier days.

Had buffet dinner at roortop. Its good to see the city from there. But the food was very average. Few dishes were too spicy and taste is not too good. Over ah avg food rooftop at the centre of the city is good.

I saw somewhere that this is a 3-star hotel but didn’t saw any service like three star. Firstly there is no make your own tea/coffee facilities in the room, if you want any you have to order it for fairly high price. Infrastructure and room are quite outdated and old with old washroom taps which will confuse you with hot and cold water as both have H mark on it. They provide newspapers everyday in the morning, thats good but still what about tea and coffee. The Air conditioner in the room is from 1980s but it still works and i was surprised and scared enough as i found a bible in one of the drawers. Its a average hotel, don’t expect much.

Best place to spend a valuable time with our loved one or family. If you want to take a dinner in a great place then this should be an awesome place.
