Annalakshmi is a pure Vegetarian Restaurant which is located at 3Rd floor, As soon as you enter the restaurant you can get that true Indian tradition. I love the ambiance and their Instrumental music at the background. Coming to the food , The food is really delicious either it can be South/North Indian they do make sure that everyone enjoys the food to the fullest. They do have the same taste as their chennai restaurant which most of the other restaurant won’t have . Overall i really love the food and i will keep on visiting the Restaurant every time i visit Coimbatore. Do check out with the management since it can get crowded at some time during Lunch & Dinner .

Wonderful as always. Annalakshmi is typical home food without any extravagent spices or flavour. Hospitality has always been a key part of Annalakshmis culture and happy that they are still keeping up to that.

A traditional hotel in coimbatore near GH. Taste is so good and all food served traditionally. Rates are somewhat in the higher side compared to other cities. The hotel doesnt has a good view as it is located in the third floor of another building. But u can enjoy the richest taste of food.

Excellent ambience. What I liked most about the restaurant is that even though there are sufficient tables, they dont fill up the entire hall with guests (atleast when I was there on a Sunday) as a result of which the place looks elegant and royal. Also the menu is not too much spicy. Price is extremely reasonable for the menu and the service.

This restaurant interiors are very good. Aesthetically designed that reflects the ancient Indian ethos. There are beautiful sculptures and some photographs that adorn the walls. I loved this place for the interiors design.The food was good as well. Not spicy and easy on your stomach.However, the service needs improvement. The people who run the restaurant can be a little more polite when talking to customers. That definitely needs to change.

Rs.405 per lunch is too expensive. Also, Items are very limited. No banana or icecream after meal. Normal taste only. Similar type means are available at Rs.100 in Hotel Annapoorna and Hotel Anandaas.

Id never been to annalakshmi before though heared a lot about their food and service. Visited coimbatore branch for a lunch. The first thing that caught my attention was their interior. It was just Wow. The seatings, antique cutleries, chairs and tables were authentic and it clearly says that its not just any other restaurants. We ordered a lunch combo that was 350 bucks and vegetable pulao with veg Manchurian. It was served in a silver cutlery. It took 30mins for the dish to be served. To my disappointment, they served, semicooked basmati rice wthst was similar to fried rice with the stir fired beans and carrots and they call it as pulao. Never tasted such pathetic pulao anywhere. Then comes the veg Manchurian, which was like a golf ball sized , when I cut that into half, the maida flour was just raw and I reported to the manager. Immediately they addressed it and asked me to eat slow till they replace with corn Manchurian. The lunch combo was again too simple with a soup, kootu, sambar, milagu kuzhambu , appalam, kesari, raita and rasam. Tell you with deep disappointment, that even a mildly charged hotels and restaurants serve good sumptuous meals than annalakshmi. May be I got bitter experience. Will never visit this place again giving such huge amount for a thali and pulao which not worth it. Giving 2 stars for the interior , ambience and for the service by volunteers. Food is a big disappointment.

Since this place had good reviews we visited and realized how horribly food can taste. From the start the staffs werent courteous. They treated people as though they give free food. And coming to the foods taste. It tasted nothing except spicy. We ordered thali and even the curd rice wasnt good. Except the ambience everything was bad. I wouldnt suggest anyone to visit here if they really feel like eating good food.

Nice Ambience, good quality veg food, very polite staff, good service and for me more importantly they had a parking space just few meters away on the same street. What more do you want for a nice and peaceful lunch?The staff took so much care and attention that when we needed additional Naan they waited for us to finish first serving and served it hot and fresh! Naan was so soft, thin and tasty. The vegetable soup (carrot and beetroot) was so good. Overall enjoyed a relaxed lunch with my family here.

The monney is not worth to go to annalakshmi the only good thing we can eat is pudi kozhukattai. Otherwise if u want to go with family and stay looking at free tables u may go.

Annalakshmi now caters in its new location at Govt. Arts College Road. The ambience as usual very good. The food that is being served remains the same with its quality and tastiness. The time taken to serve your order is a bit long hence those who look for some quick bites, this place may not serve your urgency.

Though we have south Indian meals almost every day, this was such an uplifting experience that my kids have no regrets ditching junk food. The best sambar, vattal kuzhambu, thair pachadi, kootu, rasam, vadam, appalam and curd rice.Try the laghu meals, its pure magic. A North South combo meal is available too. I guess they must be doing Neivedyam to Annapurneshwari, the food is divine.Heartfelt pranams to the chefs with magical hands and also to the friendly Meera and Dwarakanath who served us with a smile.The boys who help serve are all very well behaved, humble and approachable. Pranams to the superior chefs.No other place will provide you with such wholesome food. Will get back again. And again!

The taste is totally a on a whole new level and I love the taste of the dishes. The staff were so polite and took good care of us, I almost felt like eating at my home. We ordered tomato soup and it had the right amount of ingredients in it. The meals served were quite fantastic with the ghee, garlic powder, Citron pickle, bindhi, sambar, rasam all these were equally delicious. Finally finished with a nalaayani drink which was quite fascinating too. The ambiance was very good too in my opinion

Yesterday I went for dinner at 7,30 pm and my bill was for Rs 1670. I gave Rs 2000 for payment . When the balance came with the bill I just took it without counting and kept Rs 59 as tip and left the place. It was 9 pm. This morni6 when I checked up the 200 Rs given by them had ink all over and now I cannot exchange anywhere. Such a respected restaurant doing this way to the customer is very bad on their part. I lost the good faith on the restaurant now and will never vouch for anybody henceforth. Thanks annalakshmi for treating customers like this
