This restaurant was recommended to me by a couple of friends, so when I was headed this direction I decided to swing through and check it out.The food was cheap and the staff was friendly. Shoutout to the girl taking our orders and making the taco salads. She was very friendly and had a warm, welcoming smile. Great person to have working out front and interacting with customers.The building looked nice and had adequate parking. The interior floor looked horrible and made the whole place appear dirty. The tables and chairs were all clean, the bad floor just made the entire restaurant seem dirty.As for the food, the portions were quite generous. My party was pleased that the taco salads had a lot of meat in them. The ground beef seemed lacking in spices. It was very bland on its own. I had to add sauce to give it flavor. I was glad sour cream was included on the taco salads at no additional charge.The large burrito seemed to be lacking in meat. It was mostly beans. The size was excellent, just hoping for more meat on it.The potato locos were solid. The spices on them were nice.The guacamole we ordered was basically a smashed up avocado. I love smashed avocado, but guacamole should have peppers, onions or at least some spices in the mix.Overall, the prices were good, but the food was bland. The interior floor made it seem dirty. We always make sure to stop by when we come home to visit family. Our foodbid always really fresh and I hoard the sauce because I love it so much.

We love eating at 🌮 taco mayo!!! The taco burger and 🥔 potato olés were great. Unfortunately the expensive chicken burritos were terrible. Very dry and mostly full of rice. Would not recommend that burrito. The bean burrito was good! We will try it again just because we have never been disappointed before.

My husband and I got food here on the last day of our honeymoon. It was soooo amazing! The queso is great. Everything is great!

Dont get me wrong, I love Taco Mayo, but...I went in today around 3:30, exhausted from work, didnt even get a greeting, made my order & both women seemed to care less what I wanted & didnt even ask if I wanted extras, which I did, but they already had it wrapped up!I asked for the same thing twice & she didnt even give me the extra queso I requested for the first special new burrito. Ill go back, but it was a disappointment. I havent tasted it yet, but a 2 for customer satisfaction. I would have made it a 1, but I got to see Mike, always a joy.

Customer service were very unfriendly and food was very small portions, not to mention was very bland tasting. Like 1/3 of the burrito shell was empty. Just didnt have an all around good experience. Between the food and bad service it will be awhile if I ever go back at all.

Might be slightly better/more authentic than Taco Bell. But not as good as Taco Cabana.

Wish we had one in Sedalia, MO best cheap tacos of any fast food Mexican restaurant!

Grilled chicken burrito! My first time at a Taco Mayo and I can emphatically state, Im glad they dont have one in my hometown. The burritos were great and the potato things were as well. The only drawback to this location is the Coke Infinity machine, if like me, you hate the inferior product dispensed from these awful things.

Never been to one, we even drive a couple miles off our route, but it was very worth It! Good was very very good! Loved that you could build your own good the way you wanted It! Almost like a subway but for Mexican Food! Wish they had one of these everywhere!!!!!

I ordered the taco burger combo. I was very disappointed in the size of the taco burger. I would describe it as a slider burger. For the price of the meal I think the burger size should be bigger to at least reflect the price. I wont be ordering it again. Thank you.

Great food BUT, I usually go through the drive through. This is the first time Ive went in since the remodel. The lady who took my order who has been there for YEARS was rude, hurried me through the line, didnt let me place my full order or even ask me questions about what I wanted on my food. I wont go in again. Im very disappointed that an employee who has been there for so long was so rude and unprofessional as I know taco mayo holds their employees to a higher standard.

I had never heard of Taco Mayo before I moved to Parsons, Taco Bell was my go to Mexican fast food joint. After about a month I found myself wanting to go to Taco Mayo and it wasnt just for the great food. The atmosphere in this establishment was like having a meal at your best friends house on the third visit. New enough to be served your meal, yet and still being treated like family. On any giving day, you can be greeted by the owner of this business at the front counter or the drive thru, Michele Zaleski. She is the most genuine person I have ever met. Michele has built a business where, not only does she know your name, the majority of her staff does also. Some people might equate this to the fact that Parsons is a small town, but, to say that is the only reason would be selling short Michelles ability to run a fast food restaurant that makes you feel like family. Taco Mayo, located in Parsons, KS, is definitely an intimate fast food experience everyone should have.

Recently remodeled, so the atmosphere is good. The taco salad and the potato locos are quite good, but dont bother with the burritos unless youre a huge fan of refried beans.
