Great cafe/bar at the edge of the Mediterranean, we had a Mountain Bike pit stop and refresh, chocolate and banana crepe highly recommend....

Good pub with friendly staff and good selection of beers

Visible from the train station but you have to leave it and enter from the car park side. A bit weird. Quite busy. No wifi I think. A couple of handpumps, reasonably priced. The no 2 has a better selection and free wifi so my suggestion is the no 2 if you are waiting for a train

Good old fashioned railway pub. Situated on Cleethorpes railway station. Railway memorabilia and good food menu and good variety of ales.

If you like a pub with an 80s feel when you walk in. A friendly atmosphere and cheery helpful staff. Mixed sounds and assorted chatty punters. Quirky decor, with plenty of varied seating. Great choice of well kept real ales and really excellent food. Not fancy just a proper pub. Yes? This is the pub for you! Love it!

Yeh No.1 for smelling like weed. Had to leave with out finishing my pint as I could handle how strong it was. Let the pub down!

Unfortunately didn’t get there this Christmas, but a few weeks prior we had a fabulous night. Lisa and a Dave and the staff do a fabulous job , the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Certainly hope I can get there next week at some point. These are down to Earth fun loving customers and staff. Wish I lived nearer I’d be in every dayPitch’s MamDee Skelton x

Excellent Sunday roast. Landlady was very adaptable when my Mother in law, was a few minutes late because of parking problems.Good real ale.Would of put 5 stars, but when we asked if they were taking bookings for Mothers Day, they said no. Then when we arrived there was reserved labels on many tables.

Excellent. Could not believe what we got for a fiver and £2 a pint on a Monday. My wife tried the home made fish salmon cakes and i treid the steak and cheese sandwich. Sound a bit simple but wiped up both out. Ace

Steak night lovely

I have just had the most delicious Sunday lunch. The good is excellent and the hand pulled beers are kept to perfection. Dave, Lisa and all the staff extend a very warm welcome to all. If you are visiting Cleethorpes, visit the Number One, a traditional pub with traditional values

A wonderful traditional pub, right on the station platform. Wonderful atmosphere and the most delicious food. Perfect location for a walk along the seafront before or after a meal.

Possibly the best music night in the UK is held here circa 4 nights a year , the name of the music venue is somewhere down the line, the music is 50s and 60s r&b only on original 45 s and it is the pride of the north of England . Prices here for beer are cheap around the £3.20: mark for cask and speciality brews , all of a very high standard . Well located at the train station it is a good place for football fan to get that well earned pint after that long train journey . Always a warm welcome by the staff especially ray the barman and fellow staff as std . A traditional English pub with prices that are sensible for a tourist area.

If your looking for home made food with fresh ( no frozen) veg from local farms, look no further this pub has the best food ,serving in the afternoons 7 days a week unless they have one of there many band nights ,where the atmosphere is electrically charged . The friendly staff are brilliant, they make you welcome even if your a stranger you will fit rite in here , the outside seating is plenty ,it is a real suntrap ,cant beet it on a hot summer day . Then there is the number one fest that they have August bank holidays ,you need to be getting a ticket well before the day . Its worth it ,live local bands on from 12 threw till everyone drops. On this occasion there is a outside barbique ,you havent tasted burgers like Daves home made burgers ,its a fantastic atmosphere . In a nut shell the number one it 5 star all round .
