Large brewery that is very dog friendly. Lots of indoor seating available as well as a very large, mostly covered patio in back. Catch a fire pizza is located on site for food. They have several kinds of beer to choose from but we have never found a beer that we really like(hence the 4 stars). Still a great spot, with a great vibe.

Bartenders are fantastic, super attentive! The whole place is a fun vibe! It’s a great place to have some great drinks!

We hosted our wedding reception at MadTree in the smaller, Oakley Room and it was a blast. We knew we didn’t want a cookie cutter reception (not that there is anything wrong with that!), but we still wanted to incorporate some traditional elements into our day, and MadTree was absolutely perfect. Alyssa, the private events manager, was so incredibly patient with us throughout this entire experience - we originally booked in December 2020 at the height of the pandemic and she was so unbelievably accommodating when meeting with us during such a stressful time to be planning a wedding. She was so patient, and responsive to all of our (likely repetitive) questions, and respectful of all of our wishes. We knew she would be helpful day-of, but we did not anticipate the extent. When arriving to our reception we were blown away by the kindness and patience of ALL of the staff working our event. Alyssa, Alex, and all of the bartenders were phenomenal, and so incredibly helpful and attentive to us, and all of our guests. Thank you so much to MadTree for making our wedding reception what it was, and we hope that the staff knows how much they are appreciated. Wish we could do it again!

This place was awesome, great vibe, lots of families, dogs and the beer... fantastic! The pizza place was great too. Tons of outdoor seating and a lot indoor as well. Will definitely be back...even though its in Ohio 🤣

This is an adorable place, the atmosphere inside and outside are very earthy and cozy. The outside patios allows dogs, theres fire pits, a stage for live music, plus there are tvs outside so you can still keep up with sports.The drinks were great! The names were creative and quirky, the tree soda they make themselves there is amazing!!! And their cocktail menu is still enjoyable for those who might not like beer (me!) Its a great place to go and have some craft brews or unique drinks with a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel cozy inside, the pizza on site (catch a fire pizza) is amazing! There sauce is really well seasoned and all the toppings were delicious, not greasy or too doughy an all around great pizza, that was paired perfectly with our drinks!Really loved the place and look forward to hanging out here more to try and catch some live music sometime!

Awesome place! Beer is delicious!!! You can order pizza from inside, but when I went on a Saturday night I got food from one of the food trucks! Outdoor areas are dog friendly and there is a bar outside to order beer from! Very cool place!!!

An absolutely beautiful spot.I went on a Monday evening and it was packed! Could barely find a parking spot in their lot and their lot is massive.The brewery itself is impressively large. The inside was gorgeous and somehow the outside was 10x better. They had live music and trivia going.I got a flight of beers and they were wildly diverse and fantastic.This is a must visit spot.

My family needed to get out of the house for the evening. My son loves dogs so what better place than MadTree. It was a beautiful evening, he got to run around outside, pet a few dogs, and my husband and I got a drink. We love MadTree and all it has to offer to the community.

Finally made it to this brewery. Wow, super impressed with the facility and super nice wait staff. Will totally come back when in Cincinnati! Oh yeah, the pizza was amazing too!

This place sets a high bar for breweries. The spaces indoor and out offer something for everyone. Solid brews served well. And if you dont try the pizza you missed out on a culinary masterpiece. Thank you Cincy for this experience.

If youre into the new hipster scene then this is the view for you. Its all pretty open, the pizza wasnt shabby, it was all really good. Theyve got live music on the outside half which was pretty dope. Personally though the beer choice wasnt for me. Lots of... unique choices. Either way, go there for some pizza and a show and throw a buck up to save a tree or 2

I think this brewery hosts a percent of the entire population of Cincinnati on a Saturday night. There were SO many people yet the brewery was well staffed so there weren’t any waits. There was plenty of seating too. The environment was really amazing. Pizza was good & beer was good too. My partner had the absolute worst experience with a bartender though; like my response was “are you being serious right now?” Overall good, potentially a bit over-rated.

The atmosphere was good. Beer excellent. Had the maverick&spruce brew. Very nice!!! The food was a little slow. Said 40 min and was an hour. Good tasting pizza and the wings. Marvelous!!

The only issues with this place are that the parking can be difficult, as can finding an empty table. Besides that, great atmosphere, good selection of beers, good food. I wish they had a few more non-beer offerings but thats not unheard of for breweries. Dog friendly patio.Edit in Response to Owner:A variety of ciders would be nice, but even better would be a few wines or liquor options. Little Miami Brewing Co is a great example, but you could get away with less.

Great atmosphere for meeting new people. Allows dogs but must be on leashes. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza itself was thin and average, but the beers were tasty.

One of my favorite breweries in Cincinnati. Large building and a pretty large beer list that rotates relative frequently. It means that there is normally a new beer to try everything I go. The brewery also has a catch a fire pizza if you want food. Brewery also includes rooms for rent for events and an internal store with canned beer and merchandise

While some craft beer geeks might not thing they are as exciting as others making intense one-off beers, its hard to beat MadTree as a brewery you want to hang out with friends AND that makes beer you actually want to drink. They do have cellar worthy and exciting beers too, but I wouldnt say thats what their known for.

This is my favorite craft beer spot in Cincinnati. Their pizza is delicious and the outdoor patio is perfect for all occasions. Extra efforts around safety during the pandemic also makes me feel very safe dining here. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting from out of town looking to have a good time.

We visited while on vacation from Denver and like to hit breweries wherever we go and this place is awesome. It is a huge facility with amazing outdoor spaces. The beer selection is awesome and delicious and the staff was very nice. There is a pizza place inside that looked awesome; we didnt eat there, but regretted it once we left. I highly recommend it for great beer and to hang out outside.

Pizza was good, jalapeno patio skins were NEXT LEVEL. Beer was awesome as always. My wife, who isnt much of a beer drinker, even said there were 4 or 5 beers shes order a point of. We both had flights and all 8 beers were to shelf. Nice patio on a warm sunny Saturday. Service was amazeballs, specifically Catie Beth, who doesnt use her big girl name, but was fantastic. Smiling friendly and knowledgeable. If Im driving through again, Ill go out of my ready to stop.

First things first, they need to double the parking. A very large facility with ales, lagers, IPAs in a festive (loud) environment. If your pooch likes a drink they can accommodate that as well. Also, kids of all ages welcomed just like in a British pub. They provide a great view of the production side and have a third party, Catch-a-Fire Pizza (wood fired) that is hard to beat. A good way to end the work (or any) day.

Beautiful, HUGE venue! Tried the two ciders... both excellent. The Tart cider is made with hibiscus and lemongrass. Very helpful bartenders. Visiting from Raleigh NC and was super impressed with the warehouse-feel of this space.

We really enjoyed the venue, its HUGE! Great variety of beer and although we didnt order food, the menu had a good variety of choices and it looked good (sneaking a peek on other tables). The only issue we had was the parking. For as big as this place was, there isnt ample parking. We had to circle several times (well over 5min) to get a parking spot.

This is a nice place. I have been there many times. They have a great beer selection. It is setup differently due to social distancing. It is best to put your name on the yelp reservation list before you go. We were 11th in line but have been 75th before. We ordered the pizza and it was pretty good. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

This location is GINORMOUS, if you have an event its great they do full catering have, have two full bars, a health bar and they allow service dogs.Plenty of parking, great party atmosphere later in the evening and plenty of blends of beer. Remember they have two full bars.... wonderful food as well.

Love the extended patio area. Its a great atmosphere outside and perfect for this time of year. The pizza can take up to an hour when theyre busy so it can be best to order when you first get there.

I went to the Yottaquest event that they were hosting and I gotta say it was awesome. So many people, but it didnt feel crowded and the food didnt take too long to come out. Madtree does the brews and they partner with a brick oven pizza place that is super yummy. 10/10 gonna go back again!

How can you not love this place? Great beer, great atmosphere, dog friendly, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Oh and the owners are dedicated to giving back to the community. While you’re at it grab a slice from Catch-a-Fire pizza inside!!

Moderate crowd for a Saturday evening. Good to very good beers and excellent wood fired pizza & yes potato pizza ( hot) from catch a fire in the facility. With big garage door windows wide open it was quite pleasant to sit there for 3 hours.

Great place to hangout with friends or colleagues. They have great varieties of beer. Only none alcoholic beverage you can find here is gingerade which tasted amazing. I have always had a great time at Madtree, it was the first brewery I came to when I moved to Cincinnati and I’ve been back dozens of times. They did an excellent job of managing Covid precautions and were agile when it came to updating their policies to promote a safe and fun environment. It’s a great place to catch up with friends or to schedule a happy hour after work. Good beer and good food too!

They had one of their markets happening next door as well, so it got busy, but the service was still quick.• The atmosphere was very welcoming and the design inside and outside was cool, like a rustic infrastructure look.• Be prepared to spend $7/pint of beer. The prices are usually worth the craft quality, but a longer afternoon can get quite pricey here.

I have always loved this place and that hasnt changed. Precautions taken to make your experience safe and fun seem to be paramount and I had no concerns about being in this space. Having your temperature taken at the door, mask wearing, and marked traffic flow all make for a safe visit. We sat out under the tent and the well spaced tables made me feel comfortable. We ordered on line using our phones so no one came to the table nor did we have to stand in line. we picked up our own food which again made it no contact. The pizza was delicious but a little cold. Such is the only draw back to picking it our ourselves. It can sit a while waiting for you to pick it up. Overall it was a great experience. If you have concerns about visiting, rest your mind. They have everything covered.

The staff really feels like family. They do a great job taking care of you, and their craft selection is fantastic. Great for friends or just to relax by yourself.They also have done a great job managing Covid-19 protocols, with sanitizing their tables and having everyone spaced out well. No mingling with tables other than your party, and masks are on if you move at all. Theyve done a great job keeping things safe, and I really appreciate it since I was apprehensive about going to a bar in the midst of a Pandemic. I trust them to take care of me both in terms of safety and service.

I have been to many breweries and this is now my favorite. Suitable for all....including kids and support animals. The Madtree teams up with catch a fire pizza, a “merch” store and seating for a zillion people at long tables. There were 32 beers and the normal countless mixed drinks. I have to give kudos to the mule (a secret batch mixture of vodka, ginger beer, lime....and love), which is undoubtedly is the best I’ve had. Staff was very friendly, informative and attentive. There is an observation platform to see the production area.

This is a great spot to get a drink for families. My kid brings a soccer ball and plays with other kids. The selection is great and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. We love Dusty!

Lots of space to spread out. Quite the selection of beer to choose from. The 4 I tasted were all good beers for their style. No major complaints.The pizza was good crust. The sauce was OK. Toppings were not over cooked. Decent pizza.It was a good place to hang out and have a few good beers. I would recommend it for an evening with friends.If they had a bourbon barrel stout on tap along with the barley wine, I would give them 5 stars. With all of those taps, it seems like that style was missing.

Great location with awesome beers. Try the RebusCacao. It’s a chocolate raspberry stout that’s delectable. The PSA is tasty too. Place fills up around 4, so get there quick.

Luxurious, spacious, lovely brewery environment with good beers. Check in online to wait in line ahead of time, the wait is worth it as you will have a good spacious table for you and your party to be comfortable. Recommend you also try the food inside, appetizers are rock solid, but beware the pizza is expensive.

Great place to hang out with friends! They are taking great covid precautions and have ample space both indoors and outdoors for groups to hang and drink beer. They have a nice selection and something for everyone.

The taproom is a large, wide open space. 30+ taps of Mad Tree selections. They have a beer garden out back that is enclosed in the cold weather. Catch-a-Fire pizza cranks our some tasty pies. And, as always, you will find a few beer selections that will knock your socks off. I wish I lived in the neighborhood.

Holy cow this place was packed. a good problem right? Traffic control is the only reason this place doesnt get 5 stars.I tried the TV Dinner and PscHOPathy beers and loved both. Plus I could brinf my kid their...which was awesome. Indiana bars should take note and let parents bring their kids. So awesome.

This place is becoming my favorite spot if I come back in town. I just love this place, very vibe. I like their choice of beer. But this time my boyfriend and I had one beer. I had Rubus Cacoa, Raspberry Chocolate Stout and it is really yummy. My boyfriend had Kickboard Madtree and it does come with popsicle but he didnt want it. But he enjoy the beer a lot. I would love to come back there when I am in town.

Always packed but the drinks are great. You just need to go either early before events start or later at night when families leave so theres more seats available! But overall, love the staff and how pet friendly they are.

I visited MadTree during a recent work trip to Cincinnati. It was a worthwhile trip as the beer selection here is expansive and delicious. While here, I tried the Lift Kolsch. It was a refreshing way to start the day after an 11 and a half hour plane ride. The Dreamsicle was also flavorful and light. I finally tried the Espressoself which I felt would be appropriate for someone as tired as I was. It was great.The taproom was large and filled up quickly. This was likely due to the fact that it was Sunday and the game was on. Food is also available at Catch a Fire Cafe located within the same building.I had a great experience here and would definitely visit again if my travels take me through the area.

That is one of my most favorite breweries in Cincinnati!! My only hang up is that they don’t allow outside food but the restaurant inside is still super yum. I just like other things to eat too. They have a great variety of beers so I can get everything from a stout to an ipa to a pale ale. Their brewers are geniuses!

First time, will definitely return! Got the Buffalo Soldier pizza and it was so good! Shade beer was light and refreshing.

I visited this brewery while on vacation from North Carolina. I am really impressed with how they handle COVID-19 precautions. They took my temperature at the front door before letting me enter the establishment. The brewery space is huge which allows for optimal social distancing.I had tried a MadTree beer before at a bar in North Carolina, so it was cool to be at the actual brewery. I had the blackberry cider (Shade) and it was both pretty and delicious. I have not been keen on dining or drinking at restaurants during the pandemic, but I truly feel safe with the set up here and recommend sitting outside.

Great selection of beer with a really cool building. Theres the bar, high top seating, normal seating, and even an indoor patio. The pizza place is good but Id wish itd be a little thicker. I would definitely go back.
