Gurramkonda FortGurramkonda Fort is a 500 year old architectural masterpiece. It is made of Mortor. One of the heritage sites of India, this fort is a 500 year old architectural wonder. Located at a distance of 72 kilometres from Tirupati, the name originated because the rulers rode horses to reach their palace at the top of the steep hill.
The hill fort still in good condition & intact with its monuments. This fort is combination from ground and hill fort. Lots from monuments on fort. It is considered as one of the oldest fort in the district. This fort was built during Vijayanagara kingdom and later it came in control of Abdul Nabi Khan the nawab of Kadapa in the year 1714 A.D. The slates in the fort show that the fort, its massive fort wall and the buildings inside and the office building Rangin Mahal were built by Abdul Nabi Khan.
Very Peaceful and Clean place. Good place for refreshment.
The view from the mountain is very beautiful, you will have best places for photography and you will experience a cool and great weather, but the only bad thing is there is a very very bad route to climb it, we have to go over the rocks, there is no steps and another thing is you dont find a single shop inside and over the mountain
Very nice experience must see place
Such a great place. king krishnadevaraya ruled by this place.
Its historical place not maintained well local people may stay there
Nice place... Big tress to big breasts ....I like this please
To trek the fort u should reach early in the morning around 7 am . Its a beautiful location away from traffic and pollution and it consists of fort which is located down of the gurramkonda. Actually gurramkonda is a hill it is named like that after a man carrying a ahorse climb the hill which is impossible even for today . On the top of the hill there are walls bulit with sttones stables and some small buildings. In between the climbing of hill u will come across a temple of LAKSHMINARASIMHA SWAMY . For the people who love trekking its must a visit location.
This is one of the most famous and historical place in AndhraPradesh. Inside the khilla, feel awesome. Love the greenery and you will enjoy, cool place GURRAMKONDA

Human friendly shope
Its a great historical place to visit. Also the place of grandmaa and maternity uncle of Hazrat Tipu Sultan. But it is unattended and neglected by the archeology dept and therefore no proper amenities and facilities available. You have to carry the food and water with you before trekking the fort.

Very nice place and the fort was extra ordinary. View from front and back of fort was completely different. History of fort and the hill is quite interesting and worth knowing.
Well defined beaten track to the top of the huge mountain. Good climb to top for burning good amount of excess calories. If serious one can finish the round trip in 2 to 2.5hrs and then spend another half an hour at base visiting the Ragini Mahal ans the old temple at about 200m from base, off the path towards top or hill. One has to carry about 1 to 1.5litres of water to manage thirst be it on a hot day.
Good place for lovers
Supper best look
