Ardhagiri (Ardha = Half,Giri= Mountain)is a hill where Lord Hanuman temple is Located. Very divine place.When Lord Hanuman was transporting Sanjeevani Parvath some part of it fell at this place, hence the name Ardhagiri came . There are some many monkeys around this temple , so be careful with your valuable things. There is a small pond Located ,besides this temple. As it is believed that the water, which is present in this pond can cure many types of skin problems . (This water comes from the different places of mountains ,touching many roots of various medicinal plants🌱 🌱). For Archana seva they will charge 5/- per person.

Its one of the best places you could visit when youre in and around Tirupati. Divinity at its very best.

Very peaceful location.You have to go through Ghat road, need to pay at the entrance.You can find lot of monkeys, be careful if you are planning to carry food items. You can also enjoy feeding them.Shopping is just ok not that great.You can find good amount of parking space. Toilets are also available.

Divine and calm place. Shops are closed when we went. Better to bring enough water and food. There is a small Shiva temple, need to climb few hundred steps for it.

From Chittor 30km this temple is located and by bus or car or 2 wheeler we can go. We can have peaceful view and also delightful dharshan in this temple do visit this temple

Reachable from Kanipakkam and must visit if any one having plans to go kanipakkam. Just 15 kms away and have well connectivity. Should be careful with monkeys. Temple is on small hill and can reach easily by own transport. Dont forget to drink water from holy pushkarini.

I have visited this temple with my family by our car.The Ghat road leading to the temple is very good. The devotees can perform aku pooja& vada mala to the Hanuman idol. The monkeys around the temple premises offer good entertainment.

Its a very beautiful temple of lord Anjaneya which is constructed on the top of the hill . Definitely will get peace of mind once we visit the temple . Every month on the day of pournami there will be a special pooja conducted here and most of the piligrims will participate in this pooja and stays sleepless by praying the god and participating in special cultural programmes at the temple whole night .

Ardhagiri is the holy place which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. As per Indian Mythology, when Lord Hanuman was carrying Sanjeevani Parvath a part of it fell at this place forming Ardha-giri (Half Hill). As per myth, the holy water obtain in this temple tank can cure some of the skin diseases as this hill consists of many medicinal plants.Temple is present at the foot of hill. On the way going up the hill you can have darshan of Lord Shiva. The hill is full of big boulders and after reaching the top of hill you can enjoy the pleasant view (see the photo).

Mythologically significant temple located at aragonda on Ardha Giri( half hill) in chittor district .. u can reach the top of hill by walk / vehicle.. its always better to reach in early hours / in evening . Its pretty hot in mid day as there is big boulders through out the way & on top also its hot at that time... once u reach the top there is good greenary all around..Well maintained temple .. there is a huge hanuma statue outside & there is a pond also & the water believed to be helpful to cure some chronic skin conditions .. just be cautious regarding ur belongings as there are many monkeys reside here... over all worth to visit ..

Hill top temple with very good greenery view . Summer is very hot so plan your journey during winter or rainy season . Summer starts around march will be there till June. Kanipakam temple is near by you can visit both temple. Temple is surrounded by big rocks and trees. Try once for nature and big hanuman idol out side temple.

Temple is located atop the hill, ghat road leading up to the temple is wide and spacious, toll is collected for the ghat road, view from top is scenic especially when it is raining with all the green cover because of surrounding Forest. Temple cleanliness is good.

U feel very blessed ....The temple is not quite big...but is maintained very well.....It is situated on top of a hill......A pucca road is constructed for easy reach....This temple has great history and value behind...Do visit the pushkarini.....

Good location to visit for getting holy water. Has good ambiance. The trust plans to fetch as much money as possible in order to allow inside the temple for darshan, no matter what time of morning you visit. Had to pay 500 for Aaku seva to Anjaneya swami. Look yourself for the pictures

The first thing I like there was the Atmosphere...You Have to Travel almost a Kilometer to the Top of the Mountain where the Temple is Situated in almost in 70° angle Road... You can Find the Excellent view of the nearby villages and mountains from the top of the mountain which looks like kerala or Goa... Dont miss to visit this place when you visit Kanipakam❤️

Aragonda place is situated 15km from chittoor cross roads, connectivity is best from chittoor, frequent buses are available, from kanipakam u catch bus upto chittoor crosss road junction 5rs, from there share autos are available to aragonda 20rs. Aragonda anjaneya swamy temple is located on top of mountain 3km from aragonda place, nice road is avaialable and surroundings are nice and awesome.betel leaves are available outside the temple for offering to swamy and for seva. Betel available are very long and best in quality. Good amount of parking available, no rooms are available on the mountainonly one arya vysa satram is available on mountain.

‌Ardhagiri Veeranjaneya Swamy temple is 17 kms from kaanipakam.There are no direct buses from kaanipakam but from chittoor you can find a few of RTC buses till aragonda.But, from aragonda to reach temple on hill, you have to wait till any share autos pick you up.From kaanipakam you can hire a omni vehicle with 100rs per person to and fro to temple. Now about temple, which is very old and famous for water in pond Koneru which cures illhealth is strongly believed.Temple is in pleasant environment.Though there is an improvement wrt awarenes about the temple can be made, developement seems impressive.Pourinma day is considered to be auspicious and special puja is performed. You can plan to cover this temple and kaanipakam in a day.

The Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy temple was believed to be built in the 12th century by Nolamba dynasty. Ardhagiri Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy temple is closely associated to Ramayana, one of the great epics of India. It is said that during Tretayuga, the second Yuga among the four yugas which are described as the ages of mankind, Lord Hanuman bought Sanjeevani Parvatham, a powerful life-restoring herb, to save the life of Lord Lakshmanan when he fell unconscious during a war.And it was believed that on Lord Hanuman’s journey by lifting the entire mountain as he was unable to find the Sanjeevani Parvatham herb, half of the mountain fell down at a particular place which is named as Ardhagiri, where ‘Ardha’ refers to the meaning “Half” and ‘giri’ refers to the meaning “Mountain” in Telugu language. The Ardhagiri Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy temple holds the sacred Sanjeevaraya Pushkarini (pond or temple tank) which contains the holy theertham which never gets dried up in any situationAnd drinking the holy water from Sanjeevaraya Pushkarini is believed to cure all sorts of diseases. This is temple is just 14 km away from kanipakam temple. Here the diety is lord Hanuman. Here we have a small pond ( gundam ) which is very important. Here people believe that water in that pond is very rich in minerals and pious.

Famous during full moon day...You will really realize the power of the HanumanBe aware of transport.

Many devotees will visit on full moon(pournami) day. Bus facility is available from bangarupalyam, chittoor to artdhagiri by APSRTC every 5 to10 mns. Facilities are very worst there is no water for restroom for bothing also. Maintainance is very worst.

This temple is very pleasant. Situated on top of the mountain, 11 kms from Kanipakam. Even though the facilities are less, it still maintained well enough. But it would be good if there’re some restroom facilities...

Popularly known story was Anjaneya taking hill for Lakshmana, small peace of hill broked down into this place named as ardhagiri. Medical properties present in koneru water. Devotees take water from this place.

Excellent, calm,. Serene place of worship. and meditation. Nice. and lush green forest on hill, steep slope roads, dont forget to switch off battery off car, else, battery will discharge full... Lake is. a good place to see. Perform leaf prayer I.e. aaku Pooja for soul filling darshan and aashirwaad. Tranquility you get in the temple and surroundinga are memorable and blissful. This temple is connected with the Sanjeevani hill which Hanuman brings from Himalaya to help Laxman cure because of the Shakti astra from Ravana as part of Ram-Ravan war in Ramayana.Part of Sanjeevani hill is fallen which is Ardhagiri hill and also it contains perennial stream of water formed in the hill.
