Chennur Pond is a corner of the embankment, on the way from Mangali Bazaar to New Goodam. The first spacious welfare mandapam built in Chennur. Especially the garden is not as big as the trees and plants. The surroundings around this porch are also a bit dirty. But the premises inside the welfare mandapam are clean and tidy.
