Excellent place to buy aquarium. The shopkeeper has done an amazing job setting up the tank and patiently explains the process of taking care of it. Price is reasonable and they have variety of tanks, live plants, rocks and marine fishes too. I have kept the two bettas posted here.

I like the way, the people are knowledged but not fully money minded. I had to visit 3 times in one week to get different things from the shop and all because of great customer service and options that the shop have! Fishes and plants are very healthy, I love lava rocks and drift wood collections here, I strongly recommend to visit this shop if you really are aquascaping enthusiast like me!

Too much expensive. The price of the product is greater than MRP . The price is not at all reasonable. If a packet of pet food is 100 rs ,they are selling it for 250 rs . I am really disappointed. 1.5 feet tank price in retail is 200 -300rs but they are selling it for 500 rs and 2.5 feet tank for 950 rs with actual price of 650 rs . Also they purchase their products in wholesale price and sell it to us for high price .Please dont buy . The shopkeepers proudly say that their shop sells products at cheap rate .Their plan is to put a price higher than Mrp and if we bargain they give it at Mrp

Tries to understand your need and level of expertise and gives genuine suggestions be it fish or aquarium equipment. Can go without hesitation. They have decent collection of plants and fishes. But they are very costly. Can go for emergency or buying one or two stuffs. Definitely dont go for first time setups you end up paying much money extra.

This is a comparatively a very good aquarium shop in Chennai. I had good experience here. They do have a variety of fishes. But again it all depends on time of the year. The plants are also decent. The staff is also helpful and guide you good.

The only shop known to me that sells a good range of tissue cultured plants. The roadside store front isnt very impressive... Looks like any other fish store... But the small office/planted tank space they have on the first floor has some outstanding planted tanks. Also the owner has a wealth of knowledge about planted tanks.

We went to the place by seeing reviews. The shop is too small. There are good varieties of fish, but I am not aware of much varieties as I am first time buyer. We though to get a fish tank. They all kept in separate room on 1 st floor. They said the cost of tank which has self cleaner and lights is 3800. We said ok, and to test is it actually working the guy in shop went to take water and he didnt come for long time. It was raining, so we said we will come 1 hour. After that when we checked in net and other shops they said same tank cost Rs. 2800. Then I realized how much costly the shop is, and fish cost they mentioned there is also costly. Even it is main area 1000 rs differences is not acceptable. Anyway we didnt buy.

I had taken my son for a school project to Theme aquarium. Was very happy with the whole experience. Mr. Imran not only help set up the aquarium he also made sure the child understood the purpose of adding the various components! This place is hideously expensive and caters only to the people with big wallet and are completely ignorant about aquariums. I brought one kilogram of aquarium sand from this shop for Rs. 60. The same sand at Kolathur is Rs. 15. The TDS of the water increased after using the sand from this shop. Same goes for aquarium plants. One strand of Dwarf sag costs Rs. 10 here, the same plant in Kolathur is only Rs. 2. In other words things here are at least 4 to 5 times more expensive. Of course, they will tell you all sorts of things like they provide the best plants and the best service etc. All this is mere word play. Skip this shop and go to Kolathur is you want to buy quality stuff at cheap price.

But here prices are transparent and relatively cheaper.If you are person who looks value for money in everything, then head straight to kolathur, do your own research and set up the tank.. definitely you will save lot of money.But if you are a person who wants to save hassle and time, then this is the best place for you.And one thing i agree in reviews is, and owner need to consider is, expect Imran, nobody else know what service is.. It was a really gud experience with theme. The people there are very helpful in explaining the product. I got gud and rare varieties of fishes. The tank which they rounded was really awesome. The place doesnt look anything like in the pics. The shop is same Im sure but the ambience is nothing like in the pics. Quality of fish is really bad. I saw dead fishes lying in almost every tank. They charge extra for most items. You get better quality medicines at the aquarium in adyar near vodafone shop. I was charged 100 rs for a combo of two drops which are supposed to be good for a betta fish but did nothing.The live plants they charged 20 for one small stem and that too he plucked it so hard, it was damaged.I recommend you go search for a better place.

This is one place where you can get different varieties of fishes. The collection of fishes gets updated frequently. The shop at the bottom has fishes and the shop in the first floor has different types of tanks and accessories. Planted tanks aquascaping also looks too good(i havent tried though).The staff here are very patient and knowledgable. They provide a lot of guidance and suggestions in fish keeping.I have visited a lot of aquariums, but the price here seems to be reasonable compared to other aquariums and i havent had any issues with the health of the fishes till now.
