Hi..!On thrusday ( 19th August)I test drove 3 suvsTata harrierJeepTucsonOf the three suvs the following are the reasons I picked tucson with out a second thought..1. Promptness in response . We called the kun Hyundai t.nagar on Wednesday and they scheduled the vehicle for test drive on thrusday . Mr. Sunil called us on thrusday morning to reconfirm the time and met us on time..! I find this refreshing because we had to call jeep 4 times and remind them about bringing their car for test drive and our experience with the reception and the sales team was very very poor. Nothing notable about the response from Tata. They were ok.2 . Enthusiasm : Mr. Sunil was not just one of those marketing people selling cars... he was selling us an experience..! He explained in detail all the intricacies and he understood what I was expecting from the car. We did experience this from the marketing team from Tata but again the jeep team failed to impress on why I need to pick their car. .3. The actual suv .The model we picked was the automatic diesel high end 2 wheel drive . The automatic gear shift was fantastic and I didnt feel that the car was struggling in the lower gears... I felt the drag and pull in harrier and jeep was tepid. although will be using only the front disc breaks with in the city limits having a rear disc break is comforting because we have the down hill mode that enables all four.. this was not the case for harrier. And I dont know about jeep because this was not explained . The seats are wide and the view was much better in Tucson compared to harrier where I felt I saw more of the hood than the road.. with jeep it was a similar experience to Tucson fantastic view. The interiors of jeep and Tucson were also very similar with lumbar support and 10 way control for the seats..! The dash board in both the suvs were pretty bland.. but classy..! Harrier was a bit too jazzed up for my taste! I loved the thoughtfulness in the Hyundai Tucson with the blue link app and the road assist direct link settings and the emergency direct link setting. For somebody who is going to be traveling alone on highways a lot its definitely a welcome addition.Jeep has a waiting period and also I wasnt impressed with the response . If the team is soo casual and unresponsive about selling I cudnt imagine their response during service.. plus jeep as a showroom has only one service center and I wasnt willing to waste time trying to follow up with the team .Kun on the other hand were extremely responsive and clearly the company has very high standards for customer interaction and satisfaction . I also know there are about 6 to 8 service centers. For Hyundai. and as a brand its tried and tested..!Mr sunil processed our order through the week end including fantastic coordination with the finance team and today 23rd of August, just 5 days from the day I test drove my vehicle I have become the proud owner of an incredible amazing Hyundai Tucson suv..! They committed to the delivery date and worked all through the week end to make it happen..Thanks to Mr. Sunil and his team..!We love the car and its worth every penny..!
