As always the best place in entire Chennai city for grabbing the imported and locally distilled alcohol. Loved it. Make sure you reach there with either card or cash because they dont accept any of the UPI payments. You can easily withdraw money from HDFC/SBI ATM located opposite to the outlet. The staffs are well trained and pretty professional. They have a good knowledge of the rates of most of the distilleries.

This shop is on the main road but quite easy for people to miss as its in the basement below a Mobile showroom.. Hassle free, quick line moving shop.. You mostly get the liquor you want.. I strongly suggest you carry a bag, because each bag costs Rs.20/-.. They accept card as well.. To make your purchase experience better, have a list of what you want ready in your mind or hand..

Comparitive charges same in local tasmac. I bought imported beer Rs.300 but they charge 310

This is similar to other elite liquor shops where you can get imported liquors and beer. It is managed by the government as a separate unit under TASMAC. As like other Elite shops, the works/employees charge extra from the MRP but bit lesser than other places comparatively . I bought Red label Scotch for 2050 and the MRP is 1990. So, 60 goes to them. There is no one in India to ask or control all these.

The shop is open during this lock down, which itself a big relief as many other elite shops are closed since they are running in shopping complex / malls.Variety of beers are limited just as like all the elite tasmac outlets.Also, as like other outlets they charge ₹10 - 30 additional charge for every bottle.

Chennai is not like Bangalore , Goa and Delhi where you can buy all types of Liquor from supermarket and other places.. In Tamil Nadu and Kerala it is controlled by Govt, so when you find a imported shop, its a treat, even though you dont get to see all the varieties and brands like I mentioned in Bangalore, Delhi and Goa, its still a treat...Wish Govt of Tamil Nadu privatises Alcohols to be sold by private companies, we could see more brands and varieties.

I wish all the Tasmac outlets are converted to Elite shops so that the availability of different brands is easy. Only in Elite u can get good brands of both hard and soft liquor.Probably Tamilnadu will be the only state in India where a state owned company and their company sells their products above the MRP. Interesting part is inspite of several caution from the high court still this company continues this practice. In Elite shops usually they charge Rs.10 to Rs. 20 extra on MRP for a bottle in non Elite Tasmac outlets it is daylight robbery were they charge sometimes 30 more for a bottle of beer.If we ask questions their attitude is buy if you want or get lost.None of the political parties or enforcement directorate or tax authorities act up on this government controlled outlets any guess why??!!!

I have visited this Shop during evening hours, first and foremost there is no systematic approach towards customer on social distancing. All barge in nobody cares about mask. Then when it comes to the brands indian brands are kept hidden and mostly the higher priced liquor are kept in the prime spots. Billing is pathetic he charges Rs.20/- in addition to the MRP printed in the bottle. Second confusion with regards to the labelling prices are printed in addition New prices are printed not sure who printed the new prices. NRP which is higher than MRP by 160 to 200 rupees.. Did not see any social distancing maintained. Store did seem to have items needed. They should consider allowing customers to pick merchandise and then bill on their way out.

Stocked well. Charging in excess Rs.30/- to Rs. 50/- per bottle. They relented when I stood my ground and did not give in.

Even in times of demand they find ways to stock up and ready to serve their customers. Also the level of measures they take to keep the store sanitized and clean is very good.

Near Anna Nagar tower area, got some good collection, go and explore, Im more of a light beer lover, I went there for Hopper and it was there.

The collection is good but he charges extra for all. Dunno if my understanding is right.One Amstel beer is 160(MRP). So 1 crate with 12 bottles should be 1920/-. But he charged 2040/- INR. Which means 10 rs extra per bottle even if i take full crate.Lil Unhappy about this.Also, he charged 20-30 rs extra per bottle of whiskey.Dunno on what basis.I was happy to get the good stock. So couldnt pay attention at cost. Realized later about this.

Good location, well organized. Problem is no menu card and no display. (I suppose if they can distribute availability card with rates when standing in queue, will help). Also paid 1,900/- and realised only later MRP is 1,750/-. This doesnt happen in any other State.

Quite a good collection of imported liquor. Not too many IMFL brands.Advantages: Convenient location in Anna Nagar and availability of sufficient parking space.Disadvantage: They have some surcharge for card payment, and they dont issue a bill for your purchase. So not even sure if the surcharge is legal. The staff say they dont know about it and that they are merely following instructions given to them.

Definitely stuff you wont easily find anywhere else.But for an elite shop, its just slightly better than a place where they serve beyond those iron rails.First of all there no customer service. You look around. Pick what you want. And hope to find a box to carry your stuff.And on top of it. Twice these guys wouldnt give me a reciept. Which actually might be illegal.Well if you really want something theyve got and cant find anywhere else, I guess you are out of options.

You can get most of the exquisite and international brands of liquor here. But finding brands like kingfisher or corona can be a tough chance. Other than this, great ambience and the place dosent give a bad vide unlike a local tasmac store.
