@littleitalygrp has always been on the top of my list for one of the finest Veg Italian food and it never disaapoints me.My go to starter would be the Onion rings which is served hot and crispy and topped with aamchur powder just right to start your meal! The best part about it is, it isnt very oily or soggy and has the perfect batter consistency.🤩No matter where I go, I always try to order Margherita to determine about the place and its never gone wrong @littleitaly.chennai for I can say its one of the best! 🙌🏻🙌🏻For the Pasta, it has to be Spicy and so Alla Arabiatta and I finished them in no time for it was super tangy and tasty!😍In the desserts, they had two types of Tiramisu, The normal one and the Tiramisu Italiano and I cannot miss out on either one so I ordered both and they were pretty surpassing! 🤤Have you tried them yet?If yes, tell me your fav dish in the comments 😄
Sadly, I can give this place only 5 stars. I love the place. Have gone there thrice and have never been disappointed by the service or the food. Vegetarian. Clean. Spacious. A bit pricey though. Around 800 per person for a decent meal. But you come out feeling satisfied with a full yet light belly!
Food tasted very good. The crew is courteous and very helpful. We were guided well on the dishes and some of the dishes were customized based on our requirements. Overall a decent experience.
Been visiting Little Italy over the years. Can drop in for some authentic Italian/ Mexican food. Before you order a dish, get an idea about it as not all dishes would please our Indian taste buds. Pizzas and pastas are fine. Lasagna is okayish. Their chocolate bomb is a must try. Other desserts are also good.
Food was sub par. We found few hair strands and returned the salad right away. Ordered Some cheese appetizers and cheese tasted much worse than amul cheese slices. Spinach cheese dip was made with cream instead of cheese. Except the ambience, nothing is great. Bad experience for us.
Excellent!! What else to say? They value their customers good plus food is also in very good..
Good place for small get together, parties for those who like good ambience, Italian food etc. Good place to go. Good food
VEG ITALIAN YUM - Everything is a must try tbh, We had white sauce pasta with dried tomatoes and OMG THE CHEESE GARLIC BREADS! You can ask them to not add garlic to your pasta if you want too, its customizable. ALL the pizzas are great. Slightly at the high end in regards to price but its completely worth it.
Thanks Dirty petz for your service. I arrived from Andaman where the climate was a bit cooler than here and i was really worried about my labrador who has been brought up there since a puppy. He isnt able to cop up with hot weather here. I was searching the best facility here for grooming..Finally I got your door service..It was really a very good experience for me and i thank your team for such a wonderful work..Now my lab is feeling cooler than yesterday......Thanks a lot.Sandeep SinghVGN royale, AVADI....
If your looking for authentic Italian food this restaurant is a must visit... We went for the weekend buffet which was reasonably priced and all the dishes from starters to main course were at par the best... Service was top notch and taste wise probably the best to serve real Italian food in Chennai... From pizza to the hummus, chocolate cheesecake , pasta everything was delicious... Must visit !!
Good service. Staff was extremely courteous and very good italian food. The combo menu was a blast. Best part is the management assures that every one in the restuarant is vaccinated and they wear a badge too. Thats very thoughtful and as a customer it gives a great sense of relief.
Ambience really good. As a frequent eater of Italian dishes, I believe Besant Nagar branch has potential to raise the bar by improving the presentation & plating. Serving straight from the kitchen to the customer table rather than going to the waiters table would be appreciated. Because we did see that the cleared plates also kept in the same spot!! Big no in covid days!!! Baked dishes like Lasagne should be given more attention as I felt it was over cooked and sheets falling apart
Food was good however didnt like the ambiance.
Very nice place. We went there for our anniversary. The staff was very polite and courteous. The food was awesome. Best Italian I have tasted in Chennai. The surprise element was the Mango cheesecake which my husband had ordered in advance for our anniversary. The cake was excellent. It is an expensive restaurant but worth every penny spent
Little Italy never disappoints. The menu is an almost complete range of veg Italian dishes and pizzas and a few Mexican dishes. The food is really good. Their lunch buffet is quite a bargain.
I had a pizza and it had no flavour whatsoever. Its very expensive and not worth it at all .
Excellent environment. Great service. Good food
Great experience with amazing decor, delicious starters and soups. A bit disappointed with the pizza though.
Service : i would have given 5 stars as service was really goodFood : even Dominos Pizza & Pasta are better, Pizza was cooked on some Chapati and it was so soft that i though i am having chapati topped with Tomato sauce ;)Price :In comparison to taste its very highly rated
The buffet was well spread with a live counter( it was unmanned so I missed the live pasta options, though I was informed later) I loved the dips and the bread selection offered. Both the soup offered was not appealing( minestrone didnt taste like one). I enjoyed the lasagna and enchiladas. Thai curry surprised me at the buffet and it tasted bland. Desserts options were good and tasted heavenly as usual. Coffee was missing. Overall it was a great brunch for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was excellent. I highly recommend Little Italy for anyone who prefers Italian fusion brunch. 28/02/21.
Little Italy is one of my favorite restaurant for decade. After few years visited this restaurant today for buffet. This place is easy to locate. Near Spencer in besant nagar. Valet parking is available. Ambiance is decent. Crowded when I went but got table in ease. Service was decent.Buffet started with welcome drink which is mint lemon 🍋 and blue lagoon soda. Mint lemon was not that great while blue lagoon soda was excellent. Essence level was spot on for blue lagoon soda. Followed by Veg soup which is short of salt, which post adding it tasted good.In starters got nachos which is nicely topped, tasted heavenly. Followed by bruschetta and garlic bread. Both are good. All these are served in table.Post these, went to table for salads, main course and desserts. Pizza 🍕 etc. in main course and most of the desserts are empty. Grabbed one piece of pizza 🍕 when kept but it was not hot. Even lasagna over there was not hot. Later they served couple of pieces of 2 varieties of pizza 🍕 which were hot and decent. Enchiladas served later was not that hot and tasty. The speed of refilling buffet plates needs improvement. We need to wait for each dish most of the time. Even if it is available, it was not hot enough to cherish.Ordered white sauce pasta in live counter. It was creamy and tasted mouthwatering. In desserts, brownie and red velvet cake are excellent. Ice cream and other dish is not great.Weekday buffet costed Rs.600/- which is okay considering the location and ala-cart pricing.Overall it was a mixed experience. Felt like could have gone with ala-cart for better experience.
I have been to this place for the very first time. And for the first time I was having pure Italian Food. The starters served were the Asset of Our Food. The main course was satisfying. Finally the Drinks(soft) and the Desserts were very good . The quality of service offered was also Good. In a Nutshell the visit here as a Foodie was satisfying.
Oh so firstly I landed in this restaurant just by chance because all the pubs around this place was closed due to elections. Now this place turned out to be a real tough competitor to alcohol in itself. The food was delicious and lip smacking.Though again a little costly but the serene setup and the quality of veg food is just breathtaking. The staff was super friendly and helpful.Date - 👍🏻Family -👍🏻Veg food - 👍🏻Chef - 👍🏻
Very Average restaurant. The starters (Just an ordinary rusk with some poor toppings) and the soups tasted way below average for the exorbitant prices charged. The pizzas also werent so great. Good ambiance. Well behaved waiters and staff. Good place to have some chit chat and get together. One suggestion is either improvise the quality of food supplied or reduce the prices charged.
The quality has come down.We found soup to be warm and very thin consistency. The price of ravioli has gone up considerably.
Pasta was not the best as it was earlier. Blueberry cheesecake is my sons favourite one, it was a horror experience by ordering it as it was spoiled, luckily we took a bite and returned it. what would have happened if we had consumed it completely?is it safe to have spoiled food during this pandemic situation? We come to little Italy for the good food and experience, being a premium restaurant, this is not acceptable. Hope this does not countinue.
Beautiful place to dine in Italian based vegetarian food. Ive been to many other branches of Little Italy across Chennai and Coimbatore. They all maintain almost similar taste.Hygiene is second to none. Ambience is great. Menu options are almost unlimited. The name carries a word called little but the prices arent, its quite the opposite.
I had the soup but it was not thick and watery. The Limon soda was flat no fizz was there. Its an indoor place and if youre ok for it get your table reserved and go for this place. Its ok.
Absolutely enjoyed the Italian dinner. Awesome service and great food!
Very good option for vegetarians. Bit costly but taste is good . Must visit.
Lovely ambience, amiable staff, good food!Little italy has branches all over India and some places abroad like dubai, Nepal. This chain offers Italian dishes. The best option here is the buffet lunch! We had weekday lunch for 600/- the menu consisted of soup welcome drinks 3 starters nd salad, pizza, lasagne, risotto and live pasta. 4 desserts and 2 Icecreams needs special mention as they were really good quality and flavourful. V had booked for a group of 25 and the tables were all arranged and food was served quickly! VEG Buffet at it finest. Do visit here if you are tired of typical BBQ / North or south buffet! ( if you are Able to convince your non veg friends that this is worth the try)! Trust me.. If you like pizzas n nachos n pasta n cheesecake .. You wont be disappointed!
Buffet is a deal. Courteous staff too
Great ambience and service. Definitely very expensive, but the taste and quality was very good
Never disappoints - be it Bangalore or Chennai. Little Italy rocks. This time Buffet Lunch at The Little Italy - Besant Nagar. The spread is not lavish as it is in Bangalore. In fact, nowhere near. But the quality made good. Soup and four starters are served on the table as is the welcome drink. You have the usual - variety of breads, salads, pizzas. Live Pasta counter. One Mangolian Noodle and Mangolian Rice completed the spread. A small, but yummy variety of desserts along with two ice-creams.The pasta counter disappointed as the chef made our pasta using the red and white (creamy) sauces while our request was only for the creamy one.All in all time well spent with family savouring delicious Italian and Mexican spread.
Nice ambiance courteous staff..Food can be tastier considering the pricing.
Excellent place for Italian/Mexican cuisine. Buffet in the weekends are amazing.
Yes this restaurant is very nice clean ambience class 👌👌👌
Best for cheese lovers... cheeesssyy everywhere
Really a cool place to bring in friends and family. Loved the ambience and food to the core. Guys must definitely have a try you would love it too . Each and every dish was extremely good . 🤠
A great experience! We went for a sit down buffet and the deal was out of the world! The food was yumm, Italian, cheesy, everything we would look forward to. Cheese nachos are great; their salsa, even better! The mushroom starter was very tasty and so was the vegetable clear soup we were served. The welcome drink was fizzy and refreshing (and they give you more than two rounds of it!) Their pizzas were a little crispy and pappad-like, but the toppings were alright! Pastas were all good. The white sauce, red sauce and the mixed sauce pasta all tasted good. Their chocolate bombs were the ultimate. Overall experience was calm and satisfying. The ambience get a brownie point too! Good staff and service. Five star ratings!
This place is offering really extraordinary Italian food. Every item from menu card had Italian and comprehendible English detailing for easier understanding. The waiters also do a great job in making us understand what is what so that we dont get surprised once the dish is around. We tried their soups, lasagne, pasta and pizza. They had a small list of mexican dishes as well so we tried their quesadillas as well. All tasted really good. There were less vegetables found in the dishes which is the only drawback which I could see. The place was well lit. It seems like they have converted an individual house into the hotel so there are no lifts in case you get a seating in floor #1 which is where I got to sit. On the whole it was a really great experience and we had a nice time.
A bit pricey but the food is great!!
As tasty, tempting, high quality, and enjoyable as any Little Italy can get. For the uninitiated, Little Italy is a chain of vegetarian Italian fine dining restaurants in India. All the restaurants in the chain have almost the same menu and offer the same taste and standards. This Besant Nagar restaurant was no different. The menu has a wide selection of starters, pastas, pizzas, risottos, desserts and beverages. The staff are courteous. The restaurant ambiance is good. The food is to die for (I have been eating at Little Italy restaurants for over a decade now and can vouch for it). Their pizzas are thin, wheat crust, wood fired and certainly several notches above those from the common pizza chains. One of those sinful celebration places if you are a vegetarian and love Italian food.
Food and ambiance is good , tiramisu is my favourite....
Ment for italian dishesNeed to book a table!!!!Cosy!!!!!!
😍 Never thought there would be so many dishes to try in a Italian veg restaurant. They have many branches in chennai. Yet we went to the besantnagar branch. Its located very near to beach and besant Nagar bus stand so easy to reach. They have valet parking. So no worries about parking. The restaurant is functioning in a huge villa size building with excellent ambience and lightingsTheir service is topnotch, they explain every dishes and help us to select the best suited ones as per our expectationsBest part of their food is the presentation skills. They will make us crave for their food just by their presentations. We had the mocktails first to start on a sweet note.. Charcoal lemonade was the odd flavour out there but It failed to satisfy our tastes. But the orange and mango mocktails were refreshing.Next we tried cappuccino Al funghi selvatici - best creamy soup I ever tasted.. They mix the foam from cappuccino coffee and mix with mushroom syrup. Must try hereWe had four startersRavioli crocanti - a crunchy starter - most beautiful starter 😍😍😍😍😍Arancini noci - an oatmeal dish tastes best with their dipsFonduta - their signature dish with grilled vegetables and melted cheese as sideSpanakopita marinati - samosa like dishes but with a cheesy touch. We tried two saladsInsalata con pere e noci - citrus dressed salad - not my tasteInsalata di formaggio di capra - orange honey dressing salad - tastes sweet and yummyThen we moved to main dishesPizza bianca e Nero - a thin crust pizza crispy and tasty with charcoal baseMargherita rustico - a sourdough based pizza - didnt attract me muchTorta Di luigi - my favourite pasta here. Pls try this here for a excellent tasteOther main dishes we tried are pide solletico, cappelletti duo formaggi, piatto giardino. Among these piatto giardino is a good pizza here made of hummus and vegetables on a flat breadIn desserts we tried blueberry cheese cake, tiramisu italiano, chocolate bomb and pannacotta.Pannacotta - my favourite here. It just melts in our mouth. 😍😍😍Must tries here - pannacotta, torta Di luigi (pasta) , pizza bianca a Nero, insalata Di formaggio di capra (salad), arancini noci, cappuccino Al funghi selvatici (soup)If you wanna treat your family with a five star service and tasty food - dont miss this place. The. Prices are worth the service
Nice ambience but no outdoor seating is available. Very friendly staffs and food tastes good.
Excellent place to dine. But their cost has gone up.
Good food. Good environment. Should try for Mexican food lovers.
Best restaurants for vegetarian Italian dishes. We took pizza and red sauce pasta, that was so awesome.Must visit place for everyone 😍😍
Extremely Italian- Only veg Italian ristorante with buffet and a- la carte. Buffet spread is limited for the price but all dishes were prepared with care. 3 starters(bruchessta, cheesy taco, and garlic bread), pizza , live pasta thats the buffet course one rice item. Desserts were not upto mark. Cucumber on top with hummus is one dessert ( terrible disappointment after putting in mouth) . Two varieties of icecream dont expect gelato. Food 3.5, home turned to restaurant 3.5 service 3.5. Once in a while you can visit for different experience not for regular visits
Cute little vegetarian joint with amazing food, huge variety of options on the menu and good ambience 👍
Great place for quality Italian veg food
Wonderful ambience. Very delicious Italian cuisine. I have tried garlic bread with herbs and cheese, pasta, and pizza. All were lip-smackingly good. A little hit on the wallet, but its worth the price.
Item was prepared on time, but people were not friendly. Ambience was good. Need to improve on customer friendliness.
Nice gesture for Birthday with a memorable gift and tasty pastry... Excellent hospitality.. well maintained ambience and most special tongue watering continental menu..Must visit for all chennaites..CAUTION : Highly addictive because of taste
Nice ambience and courteous staff. However the food taste can be better
Must try pasta .pizza especially tomato soup
Very Italian as the name goes. If you like cheese this is the place for you. Every dish is Extra loaded with cheese. Vegetarian food being this great is not often in my opinion. But this places breaks those barriers. Desserts are a must try
Best Italian restaurant chain in town, this branch is located in a cosy south Chennai residential area. Good ambience, excellent service making it an ideal joint for family & friends get-together.
Price is expensive. But taste is very good
Excellent food, good ambience and service !!!
Food:When it comes to Pasta and Pizza, Italian restaurants easily overpower the other places.Chef Don pasta – A soft penne pasta with three sauces; the creaminess of the gravy and the smoothness of the pasta was bull’s eye. It was all perfect with good veggies to it.Pale Di potato – Who would have thought that potato skins can be served as a dish; Well, it was crispy with garlic mayonnaise sauce. The dish, on the whole, was perfect for starters with no hint of saturated oil.Nachos with Cheese Sauce – Basic nachos with loads of melted cheese on top served with mild-spice salsa. The gooey cheese was heaven with the crunchiness and the tanginess of the salsa.Sicilia – Italian thin crust pizza with fresh veggies and mozzarella. It gave out the perfect mix of all flavours, not so cheesy thoughNapoli – Was different from the chilli oil and the jalapenos; had a sour kick and made us feel heavy towards the end, GOODChocolate Bomb – The chocolate cake was filled with gooey chocolate flowing out with Vanilla ice cream; nothing special, good dessert to end up withAmbience/Price:One of the best places in the city for perfect pizzas and pasta. The ambience and service is their forte. Also, there wasn’t much of waiting time which kept the dinner mood going along with their décor.Yes, their price is on the higher side but could try out occasionally.VALET parking available.
Excellent place. Vegetarian, Continental and pastries buffet was too good.Best part is the service from the smiling staff.
The ambiance is really good. Nice seating and quite some privacy. The food quality was amazing. The thin crust pizzas and the pastas were amazing. Liked the combination of white and red sauce for the pasta. Try the fried ravioli - pic attached. Kids enjoyed it a lot. A little pricey, but hey its an Italian restaurant! Kid friendly
Had nice time... Restaurant is too good... The way they treated their customers is awesome.. They were very polite and respectful...
Nice calm location. No parking problems. I visited on a weekday for lunch. They push you to take Buffet and dont encourage A la carte, I dont know why. The mushroom thick soup and the veg clear soup tasted great. For starters they served nachos with tomato Salsa and garlic bread. Main course you can choose any two dishes out of a variety of pizzas, pastas, Risotto and lasagna. We were three of us. So we ordered 2 pizzas (they were 6 thin crust), lasagne and 3 pastas. Pastas tasted good. Lasagne was perfect. Nothing special about pizza. We ordered fantasy and Manali. They were so crispy like a biscuit and tasted average. All the dishes had olive oil. Desserts were very limited.Just watermelon, muskmelon, a cheese cake, brownie and two flavours of ice cream. The buffet costs 499. For vegetarian italian food lovers, this place will be perfect. A must try once.
Never disappointing relishing spot 😋
Authentic tasty Italian dishes..Menu attached
The place is the best spot , near by to the bessy beach (Elliot beach)Parking is a problem in this area but don’t worry they have valet parkingThe ambience is good compared to the places around the bessyThe service and food is very goodLasagna is the best and white sauce pasta 🍝 is out of the world 🌍Overall must visit place if your an Italian foodie
Nice food, great ambience.
