One of the best pool to visit or take a quick dip. Well maintained and clean. There are two swimming pools one for trainers and other for swimmer to practice or relax enjoy and have a good time. They charge ₹100 an hour and membership ₹6000 annually. It is even family oriented as they’ve got family membership and a kiddies pool for kids to swim too. They provide swim coaching classes for beginners and professionals. If you consider taking up swimming as a hobby or passion then I’d recommend this pool.

My 3 year kid enjoyed a lot. Water looks clean. Suggestion : if you planning to visit here use Tuesday, Wednesday as water will be cleaned every monday. Water may not be clean like this on friday onwards.

The shenoy Nagar swimming pool is government owned and I think this hint will give you about the available facilities there. Water are changing, but not sure about the frequency. Life guards are there and so far need for them was not stated so far. Children with special needs are allowed to learn swimming and they have submit medical certificates that kids is not suffering from epilepsy and other related issues. They are having coaches, who train them with care. Overall, its good one.

I had visited Shenoy Nagar Swimming Pool after more than 8 years just to check out the condition to decide on making a regular visit. Found that the water quality seems to be much better than before. The water quality maintained seemed to be much better than the olden days.Guest timing displayed is -9.30am to 1pm &3pm to 5.15pm.

SDAT is a great place to have a nice swim or learn to swim. Amazing coaches. Decently clean bathrooms and shower areas. Seared to the pocket. Has ample bike and car park space. It also has coaching for other sports. Has a full size Olympic size swimming pool for those who wants to practice

So if you if you are a lover of big swimming pool you have no choice to look for any where else... Great place to learn swimming at Shenoy Nagar. Many national and state champs trained in this place. If they could build a indoor swimming pool, that would improve their standard to 5 star level.

Worst pool. Highest Chlorine content. Was good 5 years ago but went this morning and I was shocked. You have see to believe. Zero maintenance. I can post pictures also. You will surely burn your eyes and get skin disease if you swim there.Govt just doesn’t care it seems. Don’t risk your kids health by putting them there just because rates are cheap.

6000 yrly membership cost. Cheap summer training for 2000.adhoc guest needs to pay 100rs for 1 hour. Coaches take bribe. Belongings arent safe. No lockers. Pool is good. Very large for all types of swimmers. And many coaches are available.

Great for getting trained in swimming and other indoor and outdoor games. People who coach are good, they are quite good to teach kids even below 4 years with patience. There are classes for yoga, volley ball, basket ball, etc.,

This is near Shenoy Nagar park. Guest are allowed between 4pm and 6pm for a fees of 150rs. (In 2019). Membership fee is 3000rs per head per annum.Its not very clean as in 5star hotels. But it has 10ft deep pool. And the main pool is arnd 8ft at the centre and 5ft at sides.The place also has a 3ft kids pool.Advice people not to take the coaching class. Instead allow kids to swim with people who know to swim, they will learn by themselves

Went to enquire about the swimming classes. Never felt that I was in a Govt Institution. The security guard, Mr.Poosamy, at the entrance was very courteous and explained about the course details. He guided me to the instructor Mr. Sridhar and he was also quite enterprising.The pool and the surroundings are kept very clean. Looking forward to a wonderful learning experience as well.

Price is good but water not so good. Might not suit everyone. Also they can improve the infrastructure.

Swimming pool is kinda big and spacious with ample room to swim . No locker facility, so the less you take the safe it is ..SDAT has its own parking lot and can also be parked anywhere in and around metro area.

Sharing my experience at an afternoon session, my first time visiting this facility.The facility was nice and all but its all poorly regulated. There are no lane spearators. The pool was full of either just school kids splashing water around or grown men playing catch ball in the main pool; hence They keep bumping into you all the time. I wouldnt recommend this place for swimmers.Life guards were present but they were all indifferent to what was going on, so Im guessing this is how it always is ..not happy.

This swimming pool was maintained by sports development authority of tamilnadu. With so much of staff have that pool was maintained properly and clean too. It has also seperate dressing area for both gents amd ladies. They charges annual payment of Rs. 6000 per person. Otherwise Rs. 100 per hour if u visit and swim in the pool.

Very good place for swimming. There are three pools. for learners, kids and swimmers. Those who know swimming can enjoy. They condut Swimming courses also. But my family had bitter experience on the first day of swimming learning. Coach does not care at all. In confusion.. what to do and what not to do.. For learning, small swimming school like JJ/VV swimming academy is better than this place..

A good place for a complete family swimming requirement. The place is ok interms of averall cleanliness of the pool, changing-rooms etc, decent interms of lighting in the late evenings. The coaches are good and they go thru a very structured way of making you learn to swim.

Pool Depth:Depth varies from 4 to 9 ft, with clear indication in the side wall.Only if you swim well, the guards will allow you in the 9 ft. pool area, else you need to swim between 4 & 6.5 ft.Theres a kids pool separately.Water quality:Water is changed once in a week(Monday). With your goggles on, you can see the pool floor only on the first day, and from the next day, it keeps getting more blur, day by day.Leaves, sticks , tiny feathers keeps falling in the water throughout the day and the night, as they dont cover the pool. So, on the 6th day (Sunday) the pool will be too horrible.Chlorine warning: Never think of getting into the water without goggles, unless you want to burn your eyes.Holiday:Pool is closed every Monday for cleaning purpose.Parking:Parking is free.No need to worry about parking, theres ample amount of space for both bike and car parking. On Sundays you might find it little difficult.Cost:For adhoc users, the cost per hour per person is 100 rs.Annual membership per person is 6k, whilst family membership is 12k (Husband, wife, 2 children).Changing room / rest room:Dont expect much. most of the bathrooms have broken showers. Long waiting line. I believe theyre cleaned daily, but i have noticed water clogging many times.Locker:Here comes the hardest part, theres no locker. Everything is at ur own risk. Dont bring ur valuables. If your house is near by just come with 100 rs and nothing else. Try to keep your phone at home. Lots of thefts had been said to have happened. Theres no CCTV.
