We could find numerous bus for North- Western town of tamilnadu and as well as for Bangalore over her. We could mostly find private travels and other government bus like S.E.T.C used to stop nearby the bus stop. It is not advisable to board bus in this bus stand during the festival season.People who would like to travel to towns like Vellore, Ambur, Kanchipuram, Sriperumbudur, Hosur, Bangalore.

Severely under utilized place. Buses on their route to bangalore or vellore routes stop, instead of stopping here they stop around 100 mts away from this place near the bridge. This results in heavy traffic caused by them even especially during peak hours. There are signs stating no parking and no stopping, but these TNSTC bus drivers seem to ignore. Govt should penalize these employees causing traffic snarl.

All buses to West from Chennai is available here. Like Vellore, Arani, Tiruvannamalai, Vandavasi, Hosur, Bangalore and etc. But needed some improvement for new passengers guidance. Routes and Bus timing Board. Especially friday &Saturday evening times this area got heavy crowd. On that time senior citizens getting bothered. They are unable to pick buses instantly on that crowd. Senior citizens and physically challenged persons are not have special seat(like low height seat) waiting area. Rest Rooms, Two Wheeler Parking also not here. Nowadays our TNSTC buses are good. Except some buses. Otherwise this terminal have buses at time to time.

Nice....here you can find the route for all local route bus and other state bus and it is one of the bussiest bus terminals in Chennai and here you can find good quality foods but more traffic jam and we will have 24 hours of bus service and it is a government property..... and near by that there is a good sweet shop......... and this is the best bus terminal..... from my point of you..........

It is the place where one can find city buses. But, there is no transportation for long distances. There is only dropping facility from far away buses. One Need to go to bypass or cmbt to travel or to catch long route buses. But, it is big & has good number of buses to travel in the city.

This is not a bus stand its a bus stop long route buses from via CMBT stops here.Buses going to vellore krishnagiri tiruthani tirupathi, kanchipuram Bangalore, tiruvallur, salem, chitoor,cheyaru,osur will stop here.There is no proper shelter in summer and rainy seasons, no public toilet,and drinking water.To reach here we have to get down in poonamallee bypass and walk little distance to reach this stop but mostly all Long route passengers came here daily to reach native place.There is no proper guidance from tamilnadu state transport, traffic police, police for public .so people like you have to take care of yourself, your family, childrens from thieves.wish you happy good journey

From Western side On the way to Chennai never miss the Bus Stand. Always very busy business centre. In and arround village people daily basis coming to Poonamallee.

No rest rooms and restaurants.But youll get buses for Vellore Chittoor Arcot Tirupathi Hosur Arni Kanchipuram busses frequently. Means busses going to west and North of Chennai are available here.

We have to bye pass under the fly over for bus stop (near Poonammallee bus depot) No shelter, No information, No proper parking, No Toilet, No hotels, you have to wait in open rain or hot sun, while rainy days every were mun water

The poonamallee mofussil bus stand is neat and clean place.There place is more over go for arounding buses to availables chennai & other places.Some time you will be wait for buses timings.
