Very close to Guindy metro station and Guindy bus stops on both the sides of the station. The station has bike parking facility. Platform 1 towards beach, platform 2 towards Thamabaram, Chengalpattu.

Its a good connection point between Metro and local train. It has enough parking space for two wheelers and cars in nearby metro.

Busy place. Tickets counter is very busy but vending is very fast within 5 min atlest 10 people get tickets. So dont be afraid to be in line 🙂

Guindy railway station is one of the busiest stations in Chennai. It falls in the middle of the local train 🚆 route. It is busy during mornings and during evening because then only office people leave their offices. It is adjoining Guindy bus station. Anyone who gets down there can go to any place in Chennai. it also connect Velachery , Tambaram , Porur and many more places.Right now they have constructed a proper bus station where you can sit also while waiting.

Always a very busy station. Has rush during peak hours. Trains sometimes have announcements inside the train while traveling similar to metro which is a suicide sign

Home to a number of universities and colleges ,this locality is flooded with an unimaginable crowd during peak hours.There have been times when there has been no space to climb up the staircase and an awful wait for 15minutes and the crowd moving like a snail.Even the subway is crowded densely. Except the peak hours the station is manageable.

An important place to alight and change directions. Accessibility difficult. Aged people find difficult to climb steps. The rebuilt steps near ticket counter is very high that several elderly people need support. The way leading to road on the Mount Road side is very narrow that at times of rush moving itself becomes a difficult task. Railway Authorities kindly note this point and take necessary steps as there is urgent requirement for easy crowd movement else there will be stampede

Bus stop is at the entrance of the guindy junction but the entrance is not clean. Need to improve. Only two ticket counters are available but it was not enough for that busy place. But the ticket vending is very fast. Officials took a look to vacate the beggers from the entrance. Local trains are available in a short intervals of time.
