This temple is a colony temple recently taken over by H.R&C.E. it is near the Anna Nagar Railway Station which is easily reachable from Annanagar West Depot or from Nadamuni bus stop. The presiding deity is BalaMurugan and there are sannidhis of Lakshmi Narayan, Vinayagar, Iyyappan, Visvanathar and Visalakshi. Apart from these there are Vallalar and Shirdi Saibaba statues. Panchamuga Anjaneyar , one can rarely see and you can have a dharsan and Lakshmi Hayagrivar and Dhanvantri, Chakarath Alwar have seperate sannadhis. Many festivals are conducted in this temple and people throng during Vaigunda Ekadhasi and soora Samharam. During Pradhosam also there will be large crowd. Also there is a hall with auditorium for conducting functions.

Neatly maintained temple, special deity is sakkarathazvar to be worshipped on Wednesdays. Almost all important Hindu deities were present here.

Silent temple, can peacefully pray, enough parking place for two wheelers. Every year before the exam Balamuraga temple perform Hayagriva omhamam and statinory gifts being distributed, prayers performed and a note book is placed for the students to write the hall ticket numbers.

The place I often visit during my childhood and I carry lots of memories with this temple. I have personally seen the growth of this temple. Am happy that we are conducting our carnatic music and bharathanatyam dance classes here.. Its a very lucky and auspicious temple for me..

I went ther for Satyanarayana pujai. Its conducted on Full moon day. Viswanathan and Visalakshi ambikai too are worshipped with abishekam on Full moon day. A lovely temple, Sivas family and Perumal bless us in the same compound.

Even though name is Balamurugan temple, sannidhis of Lord venkateswara, Siva, iyyappa, chakrathalwar, saibaba, Dhanvantari etc are available. You will make 12 pradakshinams and light deepam to chakrathalwar for 11 weeks(wed) to make your wish success.

Go and pray god but no beautiful thing in that and no proper bathroom no proper food distribution and clean.

Every tourist must visit this temple.. Because the decorations for lord muruga will be great & you will become wordless after seeing there decoration. Good place for lord muruga devotees. Five minutes walk from Nadhamuni theatre
