We had been here for our first family gettogether dinner post our wedding. Ambience is catchy but not for the elderly people. Full of dark, unable to find even our seats. Food tasted average but the price is high. Not worth the money. Due to the dark ambience, unable to see the nature of food, unable to click the pictures. Service also very bad, have to wait long time to get our order!! Very pathetic!!

The food is good. The staffs are friendly. We expected to see an avatar dressed up person in the restaurant. But we couldnt find one. The lighted up floor is great thinking. Only issue I faced is, the serving person took off our dishes even before we finished them completely, without even asking us. That felt a little unprofessional. Maybe thats because, we are the last person to get served for the day. But still, the time was only 10.20pm and they say they are open till 11pm.

The taste of food was worst. They charge 850 per person but very few varieties for buffet. Better try other buffets. If you go here you would feel worst while leaving.

As the name says, it’s a good themed restaurant, maintained well. Food tasted OK is what i felt, they have to serve food hot and it was served warm and not hot. So we did tell them to serve hot. Chinese dishes tasted good. Biriyani is OK, not that great. Soups and starters were good. Service is good. Avatar theme is really good to see and it’s good to go for dinner. Price is pretty high but the quantity is good, easily it will serve 2 people per dish. Overall a good place to have dinner.

I was attending a seminar meeting at Hotel Chennai La Palace and had buffet meal here. The taste of the food is okay and more importantly did not trouble my stomach. The restaurant is spacious and I believe will be a good for kids and grownup people as well, especially, those who are fans of Avatar movie and the movie characters.

Ambience would be good for those who like to dine in dark environment coupled with mild music and lights. Though the bearer and waiter were prodigal , the food they served was not worth for the money and the dishes like Babycorn manchurian, Fish Biriyani were bland . Shrimp was served with its unique raw smell. And the worst part was the drinks- Pineapple juice was tasteless and watery, Lime soda too poor in quality, Falooda and juice were served in same small glasses. Overall the i liked the ambience not the food.

They make everyone wait for long hours even we reserve the table be4.. and no one is responding properly..very very very bad experience.. i skip the food and visit to another gud restaurant.. they even wont care about ur words.. everyone is shouting for the same reason.. everyone was angered coz this poor management. They have removed the Buffet option but never updated anywhere and allowing booking everywhere. Also there was a person smoking on the lift have informed in the reception in the downstairs but no action were taken.

I booked a table for 5 (buffet) both dineout app and also called the restaurant personally and confirmed for the timing 1.30pm reached the restaurant at 1.15. all tables were busy so I waited till 2.30. after back and forth follow up I got a table. It took 15mins to serve the water and 10 more mins to serve the first starters which is just chicken wings which is as cold as ice. I called the server and said the issue he said the slots were unexpected full and cant serve all at once. Though I was hungy with my family I waited another 10 mins, there comes a simley photo nuggets just a plate with 6 piece for members I lost my and went again and asked where are my starters they said just 2 more veg need to be serverd. I fed up and moved tomain courses. The biriyani was good other than that nothing was there all were Empty I again went and asked the manager they Said its on the way to refill. We just ate the briyani and paid 789 rs per head and left the restaurant. While paying I informed the person I never had such a horrific experience. He said we never thought we will get such a crowd we are sry abt that and were busy in screwing my debit Card. I chose this place for my aniversary along with my in-law and kid of 3 yr after reading all the good reviews. I really had a bad day. I feel like I was cheated. People out there if u want to spend fun time with your family please please dont come to this place.

We 9 elders and 4 children went for the first time to this restaurant. All Children like the theme very much and they enjoyed a lot. Elders also liked the theme and hotel very much. Pathetic experience.I have booked the table using Dineout app, but, restaurant said, “we don’t accept payment via Dineout app”. Buffet costs 828 which is more than Absolute barbecue’s buffet price but, avatar Food options are very less.You don’t get fruits, sweets, ice cream like you get in absolute barbecues .There is no live counter , there is no option of chats and all.Frustrating part is, there are no options with ice cream, only butterscotch was available .When it comes to non vegetarian, chicken and prawns were half cooked, they were very hard to chew. No fish was provided .Conclusion: pathetic experience, please avoid the restaurant.

Avatar themed restaurant! Such a new dinning experience with my team. Lunch buffet offers 100+ dishes both veg and Non-veg and sweets. Most of the dishes are new for me. I really enjoyed the meal. Cost may little expensive. But its completely worth for the amount you spend here.

Perfect remodelling of Avatar movie including life like statues of Navi and replicas from Pandora. The entire scenario is beautiful and eludes an air of mystery. Prices are not too bad and food quality is top notch. The restaurant especially Tandoori orders closes exactly at 3.

I ordered kadai mixed vegetable.it was very spicy. Requested them to do some spicy. They were hesitant and finally after having it we are suffering from stomach pain for the past two days. Ambiance -5*(kids will enjoy), food quality -2*. This is my fourth trip. I will never think about visiting Avatar,again.

I would give 5 for this themed restaurant as the theme has been captured fully. The kids love this place instantly. The food was good but Ive held back a star just so that theres always room for improvement in the food criteria. We loved the chicken tandoori kabab. It was just perfect ! The sheekh kabab was a little chewy and the size and amount served doesnt justify the price charged. The noodles lacked taste so dont order Chinese if youre a picky eater. The gravies we ordered were nice. Since it was a bday party the cake we ordered was delicious. Full marks there. The service was good. All in all a must visit for sure. The theme is worth a Dekko !

Theme Restaurant Avatar ambience is good but only Chicken variety items are tasty,others like Fish, Mutton doesnt taste well.

We went for a get together at avatar restaurant. I had reserved via Dine Out by which we had 20% Off. I called the restaurant and booked for the cave. The ambience was too good setting the mood for the theme. We have no complaint on the ambience. The worst thing is the service. They never bothered to come and check whats going on or if would want to order anything. Everytime we had to call them and give the order. We ordered around 7 starters for 9 ppl. After 30 mins came the first ordered dish and every other order took a min of 20 mins. It was very slow and every dish came separately which made things worse. By the time the next starter arrives the bite that we had wouldve been digested. After we ordered the main course it took more than 1 hour for the frst main course to arrive. We noticed that all other diners was eating only the buffet and we were the only. Al-carte. Having said that the servers are expected to come and ask every now and then. But they never bothered to come at all. They didnt serve mayonnaise for grill chicken and finger fish. When we asked they said it will come. But after 2 hours also it didnt come. We really regret the choice of choosing avatar for our get together. The only reason why I give 2 stars is because they provided 20% Off as mentioned in dine out. Other than that nothing was impressive and we decided not to go back to the restaurant ever again.
