Its not easy to notice this temple. Very calm place. My favourite Murugan statue is here.No crowd in the temple. If you like peaceful atmosphere for prayer then its right place for you.I have been passing through this temple many times but never noticed. One more surprise is its a BIG temple and I thought it might be very small and only one God is in this temple.Vallieswar temple not like near by renovated Kolavizhi Amman temple but simple and traditional old temple.Loved lot.

One of Saptasthan kshetram of Mylapore. Sage Gautam worshipped here. Very inconspicuous entrance from the thin lane which turns left after Kolavizhiamman temple. One can easily miss the entrance. Cali did penance here and attained immense might.

One of the Sapta Sthana Shiva dharshan temples in Mylapore. Visited on Shivaratri and got divine blessing from Lord shiva. The temple is very old. Needs maintenance in order to preserve such old temple in city like Chennai.
