Helpful people everywhere including the ward boys, security personnel, doctor, support staff, cleaners etc. Took my mongrel for vaccination for the first time and I was clueless as to where I should go for registration. I was guided promptly by the security personnel and I was redirected to the queue. Next I was waiting to check the vaccination status and it was quick too after I was guided by a helpful human to pay the vaccination fee, I paid the fee there. Next the doctor called me and in a jiffy he vaccinated my puppy and told me the next due date. Main things to be noted : never let your dog sniff, lick or do anything on the hospital premises as it will be very infectious inspite of the fact that the sweepers will clean the place from time to time. It is wise to go during the early time of the day to reduce the wait time.

Probably the best government hospital for pets in Chennai. Has all the facilities A-Z in them. You name them, they got it here. Here there is no charge for diagnosis and medicine. Just 50/- for registration and it is valid for 10 days. After that we have to renew it again. The only downside is, there is too much crowd and It takes forever for the doctors to call our name and as there are a lot of people with their pets Coming there, it might be dirty in some places, like in front of the pharmacy. The hospital staff try to keep it neat as much as they could, but still because of the crowd it cannot be controlled and also the treatment would be slow, as the doctors wont rush anything and take time to diagnose properly so that you wont waste your money. If you go to private hospitals, they always try to milk us using our fear and love we have for our pets.

Weekends are very crowded and might take too long before you get to the doctor, you need to plan accordingly. You will get to notice different types of pets and different breads of them.

Treatment is good. Due to corana period op time are 7am to 11 am. But we went 12pm due to traffic. After 11am emergency doctor only attend the cases. So he not allow the normal cases or vaccine.so please make a call before visit a hospital due to know the hospital working times.

Hospital is good for pet consulting there are charging RS 50 for 10 days validity you can visit again with in 10 days before 4 years they have 30 days for 1 consulting over all for vaccine and other treatment it ok but, in Tamilnadu for human is free but for pet is .??

I took my two 5 month old kittens there to get them neutered. i waited for about an hour there. then the doctor told us to bring it back on 2 february 2022 which means we had to wait for 6 more months! both of my kittens are females and its not good to keep them like this for 6 more months. definitely not recommended.

Took a pet puppy when he was sick, they follow a strict procedure and make the process easy.. infact they suggest manythings which makes even more efficient and we also have Madras Veterinary hospital as our first preference always.

One of the few 24x7 emergency veterinary hospitals in the city.My Indie was suspected to have a congenital heart issue - he got his Echo, X-Ray and CBC for ₹350. Cant get that anywhere else in the city.However, given the pandemic, it may be too crowded for some peoples preferences. It will be best to get there early - before 8am if you want to beat the crowds.

This is like the best thing that they have in (TANUVAS)Veterinary University, vepery, Chennai. Usually all the departments function from 8:00 AM to 12:00PM. And if you happen to get in a situation where you need emergency care for your pet outside the above mentioned timeframe you can get preliminary treatment here in the emergency care ward which functions round the clock. There they have well experienced doctors who do the needful and also guide you in further treatment procedures.Overall a happy experience

My kitten suddenly had a breathing problem but then he was active ....then he was given oxygen supply thr ....after that a doctor came he didnt question like wat hapened to the kitten nothing was hurrying and then he dewromed forcefully on my kitten mouth in a injection 2ml after tat he gave a injection on the back while I asked him why ....he replied me asking are you doctor ...u cant question a doctor...spoke very rude... then when I came home ....my kitten really suffered a lott ....died in pain....I felt like I should not have taken too veterinary hospital Chennai..thr they dnt have respect on animals ....just money minded people ...m not blaming all the doctors ...some are wantedly killing innocent souls ...I guess if not taken my kitten too veterinary hospital Chennai ....they wont respond anythg properly they will ask u first too take it too ward no 2if u go thr they will say then ward no 11 ...then last they all ask you too take it too emergency ward ....loss is only for pets..plus are for students (interns) who are working there ...like our pets are testing (experiment) for them .... but its just waste out of killing a innocent souls...Feel like I should not hav taken my kitten to the veterinary hospital Chennaiit must have recovered by itself ....even tat one star should not be given 0 rating

They value lives based on size of the animal. If u take a bird there u will definitely get ignored. And there were no staffs available when I visited. Dogs were treated though. Overall if u cant find any other place visit here.

Yeah, good veterinary hospital in chennai. Emergency available for 24 hours. The nearest railway station is Chennai Park. When I saw this I wonder, I didnt believe this hospital is Government because this place was very neat and clean, doctors are so kindful.

Government doctors are behaving much much better with animals than with humans.Initially I thought it was free for vaccine but they charge for it and the cost is 1/4th than private hospitals.No yelling no scolding. Taking good care.Parking fees for two wheelers could be avoided.

Actually this is the first time I visited there for my pet to vaccinate her. I was been guided politely by the employees of how to proceed. First we have to get an OP form which includes details whether you are a first time visitor or you have been here already. If you are a first time visitor then you would be a charged a very minimal one time amount of Rupees 50 INR. If you have been there already then you can say them your name so that they would be able to fetch your information regarding previous visits and provide the same to you in not more than a min if waiting queue is empty. There are different treatment places for just born pets and adult pets. Consultation would be on block no 9 and bill payments would be on block no 2 post consultation. Block no 2 is just behind block no 9. Post payment medicines and vaccinations are provided in block no 9. Very well trained and well mannered staffs who would be happy to help you when you approach them. A minimal amount of 10 or 15 rupees INR is been collected as parking fees. No contrains on parking space. It cost me INR 180 rupees for Anti-rabies vaccination for my puppy. Separate block is been alloted based on various level of treatments. Minor operation for pets starts at INR 500 rupees to max INR 2000 rupess. Worth visiting. Provision of Valuable services in a cost efficient way. Thank you !
