This Hotel is located exactly opposite to the Egmore railway station. Firstly, rooms are good but shower pipe accessories are not worked and it is not clean. In addition, the upvc window, which I had stayed in the 4th floor room, dont have any safety grill. When you open the window you can see youre standing above the big tree level. This might be a safety risk for children and unstable mindset peoples. Next, we need to order food from the below restaurant, they will deliver to your room and we need to pay at the moment. Honestly, the full meal is not good but dinner and breakfast is okay. Overall, the room cost is higher than the facilities they have. There is no Wifi, but food is affordable in cost.

Online booking only 12 hours rs 1300.00But spot booking 24 hours 1700.00So spot booking or phone booking is best morning break fast 8.00am to 10.00 am only budget hotel.

Hi, travellers....Booked this hotel for two day, staff was very friendly, breakfast was in good quantity, rooms are of comfortable size and were clean but bed sheets smell like hospital - pillows were of different sizes, location is good. It looked as if renovation was going on, but had a comfortable stay.

Hello...We are the members of CII, AICCI.This day, in your hotel is one of the worst hospitality I have felt.Myself and 3 of my friends came for a function at Anna lakshmi, keepauk. We had our stay at Hotel Abu Sarovar.Since we have our train from egmore, we planned to stay in your hotel which is opposite to egmore station.We booked room numbers 306 and 308.By 5pm, our very important client came to meet us. She and her son are on their way to Tirunelveli. Before that, they wanted to refresh. In the reception, we informed the receptionist about the guest and we conveyed them that,they would leave in sometimes. Within 10mins, we started recieving calls from the reception. Stating, when is the madam leaving?. I clearly explained him again that, she will refresh and will leave in some time.Within another 3mins, we recieved another call stating that, the manager is forcing the guest to leave immediately. I said, ask your manager to call me, let me deal with him.Immediately the manager called, Asking, Manager:what sir? You wanted me to call? Ask the lady guest to immediately leave the place or if you want me to come up?Me:Whats your problem? The doors are open, your cleaning staff is in front of our room, they are refreshing and getting ready to leave... why do you force us like this and illtreat like an criminal? moreover, the guest is with her 10year old son.Manager:No we wont allow ladies to room.Me:Then who are they staying in the room next to us?Manager:They are family. You immediately ask her to leave.Finally my guest felt bad and she left immediately..This is the worst experience we had ever.Either recruit some better manager who can recognise or differentiate guest and criminal at first sight. Or better train him.We all are also married and having kids.. we are not any porambokku..!Very badly treated..!Low class, Rubbish minded manager..

Great location, without doubt, bang opposite Egmore Station. They have tariff on 24 hour basis, so early morning arrivals are ok. Felt the price to be stiff for quality of hotel. Bathroom is very ordinary.Hot water, is tepid. Air conditioning is good.

Bath room is very smelly. Bucket and mugs kept in bath room is rusted with stains. They have speared the bed sheets used by the earlier guest in the room and not changed the bed sheets while checkin. while requesting to change a washed bed sheet, they denied. on the next day they have changed the bed sheet. one whole we have to spend with smelly bed sheets. Apart this one fellow, Mr. Mohan at reception is behaving rudely. He dont know how to speak with guests. I disappointed with his behaviour. Dont go to the hotel.

The hotel was easy to locate and situated in main location. we havent opted for food, so unable to comment on food. Complimentary cofee/tea can be provided in the room.. Ac was good. Room service could be improved as we had to wait for a long time after requesting service. Hotel is good for family and couples stay. Shops are available nearby ,so location is very good in case the guests need any emergency. Drinking water quality should be improved. We felt the water taste was bad Bathroom could have been more spacious with a bath tub. Water from hand shower had bad smell..

Never ever visit this hotel. If u need to have dinner means you have to order it 2hr before so that they can cook in time.before dinner time.. Taste is good but you can starve for eating it.. and Server will never hesitate to ask tips. Poor Hospitality

Rooms are quite big and clean, opposite to Egmore railway station, good food from nearby restaurant but they provide it to your room might be there own chains. Good for one or two day Transit. In budget you ll get all basic things required.

We are regular visitors to Chennai Gate and prefer to stay here rather than any due to its location primarily.. Easily assessable to places.. Opp to railway station and bus stop at the front gate of the hotel.. Cost is also reasonable and used to get exciting offers in goibibo at the last minute.. 24 hour check in and check out is convenient so that we could plan our timings accordingly.. Would like to stay here in future too when we get a chance to come to Chennai.. 😃

I have booked 2 rooms for 29th jan’20 to 30th jan’20. Following issues with stay was observed1. Staff not well versed either with english or hindi. 2. Very non cooperative staff asked for a cup of hot water for infant baby they denied to give citing they dont have available even they have in house restaurant facility than also. Anybody having baby avoid staying3. I booked for four adults but in room they provided only one towel and no linen bedsheet for wrap/cover individuals. On insisting they provided only one addl against 4 adults4. I reached there at 9:20 am for which they provided one room and charged 300 for early check in while second room they provoded even beyond checkin time i.e 1:30 pm against 12:00 pm for which nothing . This double standard u can find in this hotel in front of chennai egmore station. For early checkin they will charge you but if they given u late then there is nothing5. Overall except location which is infront of egmore railway station all other facilities/ services were pathetic

The hotel is very well located, just bang opposite Chennai Egmore. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The hotel is very economical friendly for the price but do not expect much for the tariff. The hotel can be better 8f renovation and few Modifications are done. Things I like :1. Staff is very polite, helpful and courteous. We were stuck in Chennai during the demise of late honorable CM Jayalalitha. The condition was not apt to move out, the manager was kind enough to extend our stay for no cost beyond the 12 noon mark. 2. Breakfast is good for the room budget, its a buffet but with limited and repetitive menu (daily same). 3. Located very good, few kilometers from marina beach. 4. Bus facilities, train (out station and local) available. 5. Food from restaurant was very good. Absolutely did not like. 1. Some of the fixtures were old and beyond replacement time. 2. Towels and bedsheets were stained. 3. Foul odor in corridor and rooms. 4. Not all rooms are alike even same category rooms.

A good hotel at just opposite the Chennai Egmore Railway station. This is a medium quality hotel. Less expensive. The main attraction of this hotel is Check in and check out time is 24 hours. Not like general. Mean if you check in in the evening then you can check out next day evening only one day charges. Another good things of this hotel is hot water is available round the clock mean 24 hours you can get the hot water in the bathroom. Ac also ok. Location is very nice. Closed to Railway stations. All kinds of public transports are available here.

I visited chennai 1 weak ago for 7days and I stayed in this hotel. It was very hygienic and clean and the staffs were also very helpful. There is an attached restuarant with this hotel and they serve delicious food all the time. The hotel rooms were also nice. I loved my stay in this hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel to whoever visits chennai. 5☆ for their service.

Nothing to add anything new.. This had been my fourth stay during this year.. We feel comfortable to stay here.. A special mention has to be made regarding 24 hours hot water in tap and the maintenance in rooms.. We have Hot Chips which has been expanded a little further more and taste is good there.. Room was o.k. for an overnight stay when traveling through egmore station. Bathroom was smelly. Shower taps were stuck up. Bathroom fixtures could use a facelift. Bed was good. Just opp to egmore station .So very convenient. Hot chips restaurant on ground floor. Buhari and sangeethas are nearby.

The hotel is right opposite to the Chennai Egmore Railway station. Rooms are decent. Nothing great but for the price I paid it was value for money. Room service was very good and the food was excellent. TV was not working due to the cyclone which had hit Chennai two weeks before. Overall an excellent hotel. Would definitely recommend for others.

It is a good place to stay. Moreover its location is just opposite Chennai Egmore station hence very easy to locate. Nice and tidy rooms, Very cool A/c, has all the eminities a good budget room should have. Cons: Best to book online as the on counter tariff is quite high. Service is okay since you have to call everytime to get towels and stuff. And hotel not for three person as they only provide a mattress for third person no hardbed.

The Hotel is extreamly well located and is just opposite to the egmore railway station. It has a very good vegetarian restaurant (Hot Chips) attached to is. The room service is very quick. The hotel management is horrible. We informed them about an early check in ( 7 am )on the special request column. Made the booking 2 weeks in advance during the stay. At the time of regular check out they asked us money for a day extra. Never informed us during Booking or during check in about extra day charges.The manager who wasn’t available on the desk, is talking to us and the phone and calling us cheats while we were still trying to understand their point of view with the other colleague on the Booking table. At the end the manger asks us to pay 500 and cuts the call. I asked him to apologise to us for calling is cheats and only then we will pay 500 that too for something that wasn’t an issue from our side.No apology given. Horrible treatment with so much of attitude.

The Hotel is just opposite of Egmore railway station and also the quality of food is also good . We enjoyed the breakfast a lot . The only problem we have found the room allocation . The picture of the room which are shown while booking but which was given after reaching the hotel was not matching . As told by hotel, the Executive Deluxe A/C Room are provided on 2nd floor which was a dingy room and not cleaned and shabby in nature . While requesting they changed the room on 4th floor which was good . I had booked this hotel for the 2nd time as my 1st booking , they allocated the room on 4th floor on the same room booking . Except this part , the overall experience was nice in all respect .

Bathroom werent Good...Bedsheets were dirty,with oil Marks in it,i requested to change but the attender said me that these bedsheets are like this only...???!!!TV channels are only Tamil& Telugu, just 3-4 Hollywood movies channels, so People from outside tamilnadu cant survive in such case,People who booked for Complementry Breakfast were hanging out and fighting for breakfast...thank god I didnt opt Complementry...
