The Academic Buildings are a sight to behold.Buildings like TT (Technology Tower), SJT Building and especially the new Architecture School Building look breath taking, surrounded by a serene environment bounded by nature.Even the roads, footpaths and greenery in the campus is quite well maintained.Our Lake is just Beautiful except we cant access it.Im not going to review anything else about this campus because itll probably be taken down.

It looks great..It has lot of Greenery..big buildings.. overall campus is awesome..But if you want to take admission in vit..then you should be mentally prepared for so much of hectic timetable, rules and regulations.And yeah if you are good at your subject you will get placement as well whether it is ctc of 3.6LPA or 25LPA, It depends on you.

NIRF ranks it next to IITs. And they are right. Its the best private university of India. Messes are excellent. Its a clean and neat place. I paid very reasonable tuition fees as my daughter was a high ranker. Alumni base is huge and well placed, and it helps for further studies in USA or elsewhere. Thanks VIT.

As an outsider, i feel it is a big university.. Truly global interns of students from different continents. Very greeny.. Entire campus has foot path with roof covered which is the best i have never seen in any university.. A big Indian flag at Entrance looks great. Enough staff to protect the premises.. It looks like a mini town inside it..

I visited the campus for VITMUN 2019. The Campus was like a mini town and was really large. Judging on the Infrastructure grounds, Campus was really good. But, it far away from Chennai Airport. So plan accordingly.

It is a place where I studied my UG degree. Beautiful campus. Students from all over the world and India are studying. Recently it received Institute of Eminence. It has many center of excellence. I think it is ranked in the top 500 university in world ranking. Many industries recruiting the students. One of the top ranking university in India. Good numbers of publication from both students and faculties. I was also examiner for students. The students are exceptionally good. Every year January 26th celebrated as Alumni Day.இந்திய அளவிலான தரவரிசையில் முதல் பத்து இடங்களுக்குள் உள்ள பல்கலைகழகம்.

2015-19 batch.. leaving this place has left a hole in my heart.. made the most amazing friends.. short review - special/paid mess food is amazing, tons and tons of eateries inside and outside campus (I love food!) there’s a dominos on campus that delivers pizza to your block in 30 mins! Beautiful green campus, AC labs, big classrooms. AC rooms in most hostels !! New blocks have central air conditioning (wow!) Huge variety of sports to play if you wish to. Huge selection of subjects you can study if you wish to, flexible selection of subjects is really a world class facility. Placement opportunities for cse are really vast. Just work hard in 3rd and 4th year to try and learn some relevant real world skills and you don’t have to worry about getting placed. Other streams I will say it is realistically more difficult to get a job, not only in Vit but any university other than top iit/nit/bits and even there I suspect cse placements may be higher paying , that’s just the way the industry seems to be shaping out in India, most higher paying jobs are foreign companies looking to hire IT engineers in India so it costs them a fraction of what it would cost to hire an overseas employee and pay him in $. IT/CSE specifically have more jobs as you can easily work with a team sitting in us/uk/etc. In case enrolling for streams like Mech, EEE best to be prepared for going abroad for masters and job in case you don’t manage to land a satisfactory job in your field in India (60L approx expense for masters in USA/Aus/Canada)1st 2 years just enjoy.. try to get Max CGPA in 1st sem as even if you don’t do very well in all of the next sems you will still have a good CGPA. Attendance requirement is 0% if you have 9 CGPA+ 😊 then order pizza and Sleep in ac room without worrying too much about classes. I will advise to keep CGPA 8 till last sem as this will clear short list criteria for 99% companies. Most important for getting a job is a real world skill like app/web dev etc. and internship experience preferable as well, more than CGPA, companies rarely look at CGPA more than a few seconds.If you’ve reached the end here, I wish you all the very best on your journey in case you do plan to join Vit or even if you don’t plan to! We can excel in this college if we use it. It is upto us to use the college or not as far as the college is concerned there are no negative thoughts atleast in my mind. Second one is financila scholrship for the families who have annual income of less than 2 lacks and the last one is start scholarship where poor students are chosen from each district of Tamilnadu and are made to study free of cost

Giving 4 stars just because of two reasons- security on the gate no-1 was just confused in his life but was good in his job and second the college is so frickin huge that you cant walk around whole campus in even 2 days,its as big as it gets.VITs two campuses are in South India, in Vellore (capital city of Vellore District) and Chennai (capital city of Tamil Nadu), together covering an area of around 250 acres. Its outdoor and indoor sports facilities spread over a 20 acre area.

Beautiful college and atmosphere. Campus is huge and spotless. Outstanding infrastructure and very well maintained. It has been one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu.

I was there for IEEE conference. Apart from the very popular facts that the campus is big, there are some other things that I saw, experienced that I would like to mention. The students are very helpful(atleast those whom I had a chat). There are numerous Stalls for food but max are for fast food. Students go outside of the campus to have foods like byriani, Roti, rice etc.Students either buy cycles to goto their classrooms or they take shuttles for which one have to pay 15/ride. Infrastruture is very good.

Best place to #learn and get your #graduation or #postgraduation...All students will have at least one job in there hands as far as IT/Computer is concernedPlace has very good #library...Placement is excellent here...They are having separate entrance exam for BTech and MTech... You will get details in their website...You will have at least one job definitely whether you are doing MTech or BTech....Internships will be available from campus... To clear campus aptitude rounds college has separate classes on weekends which are helpful....They value you after college too by organized alumni meets...2019 is also very good for placement...This is the best university if you want to go to abroad for higher studies...this campus is better than Chennai

Im mechanical engineer from VIT UNIVERSITY , fully flexible credit system like USA education system ,good environment and good facility and excellent infrastructure , 1 hr away from Chennai , drastically temperature difference, 9 pm intime for boys hostel and 8 pm for girls ,WiFi + special mess + AC rooms +Enzo (shop)+subway+ ground=VIT UNIVERSITY

One of the best educational institutions in India. Ranked at topmost positions this private university is most sort-after university among students because of several reasons including (i) good placements (ii) No strict rules and laws (iii) good atmosphere.The campus is located 2.5 kms away from Katpadi railway stations and there is a very good connectivity from the railway station. The campus looks very small from outside but when you enter inside, the campus is magnificent. The campus is well-maintained with large number of trees around.There are more than 15 departments and several excellence centres within the campus. The atmosphere is too good to be studying there.Campus placements are really good here and the highest package received so far by a student is 39.6 LPA.Overall experience was great !

I completed my undergraduate and post graduate in VIT. It was a wonderful time I spent in vit. The Vellore Institute of Technology has got a very beautiful atmosphere and environment. The campus is full of greenary one can find plants and tress everywhere. I really appreciate that how vit maintains its greenary throughout the year in scorching sun of vellore.The infrastructure of vit is really awesome.Once in a year there happens a Cultural fest called Riviera.  It is an International 4-day event that consists of sports competitions, social and cultural events along with concerts. It is usually held in the month of February every year.VIT has got many Hostel blocks for both boys and girls separately. The hostels can accommodate around 25,000+ students easily.There is alot to tell about vit.Once a Vitian always a vitian.

Extremely big fraud, as far as admission test conduct is concerned. They suppress the website / software, to allow external agents to manage the examination for students (who pay around 12 to 14 lakhs) for direct admissions.

Every vellorian will be proud of this university here. I may not be the student of this university, but my memory with the university is the summer camp for school students they used to organize. As a child whenever I have entered this university I have always got surprised with the infrastructure here. I have attended the career guidance program they used to conduct for school students. Apart from all my personal experience, the university organizes placement drive even for the students not part of the university every year. What an excellent platform they are providing for the graduates. My sister is one of them who benefited from this placement drive.

U get all what u want in this heaven on earth.Admission is mainly through an Exam called VITEEE , generally conducted in the month of AprilThe only issue I found with this campus is the bit excessive no of students but still they manage their campus very well even after the huge strength, there are also guards on duty that monitor students and check that no 2 students(A boy and a girl) can walk hand in hand , c mon people where can u find something so awesome.

Very good infrastructure with good faculties. But the curriculum for masters students are quite hectic and burdensome. Hostels are also good but you have to take lift anyway. There are different mess type is available for the students. The food is okay.
