I went to Vanathi pathipagam to buy a book for my NRI friend today. Book was not available readily. They made me to sit, tea was served in between and got me the book from their archive. Very courteous and good collection

The books they have are soo good but the payment method is not good in-house payment they accept cash and card payment but we cant pay by online sources like bank transfers, gpay like that they only take money order payment it takes roughly a day max after that you get 2 to 3days for the book to be delivered to your address

One of the greatest book publishers in Chennai. Once went there, bought some tamil books. Bought few tamil books by sandilyan also. I remember i got some good discounts there. Excellent publisher. Staffs are good. It was couple of years before. Need to park on the roads.

Good and old publications housing books in different topics and ranges. One thing I noticed is that they are not accepting card payments, which will be challenge for high value purchase. They do not offer vpp, which is another point.
