I seriously suggest not to opt this place for the stay. Its a waste of money. Totally dis-satisfied.May be before lockdown the hotel might have good reviews but after corona unlock it was disgusting.Poor communication by an elderly person at reception, he is very aggressive and rude with the customers. He has no decision making rights and need to call even for a small information and permission. The person who know all procedures and having rights was not available at the desk.Room door do not lock properly from both inside and outside, small room with no proper ventilation, small washroom, shower did not work, no bucket and mug available when shower did not work, some lights did not work at all, bulbs are with very dim lighting, hot water kettel is not available, no packs of tea, coffee and milk powder as they said these will be available in the room, no proper food facility at the restaurant, they said restaurant timing is till 10:30 pm, when we called and asked they said it will be till 9 pm.Room service staff and restaurant service staff behaviour was good unlike the elderly person at reception. He must learn from them.Online We booked 2 rooms with double occupancy in each room, for 2000/- each room (totally 4 persons and 4000)-).We also verified visiting offline. The person who show-cased us the rooms also said the same like each room is double occupancy and each room worth 2000/-.We felt it was fine as online and offline were with same prices.Moreover the main reason to opt this place is, its very near to our purpose of visit and at main road with all facilities.So we preferred this place though the rating was 3 star.Really saying we stayed 1 hr in the reception and person in the reception was arguing with us saying online and offline procedures are different and he cannot go with online booking and we should go with offline procedure it seems.He said One room with singel occupancy and 2000/- worth. So 4 persons, 4 rooms, 8000/-. We were completely clueless like whats happening??.How can a same hotel vary with their online and offline procedures??It was disgusting and irritating.They must really workout on this if they want to make this hotel a better place to stay.I seriously suggest not to opt this place for a stay, else you will face your Karma. Be careful.

This place is suitable for people attending the prometric exam centre. Found the place peaceful calm and room service was excellent. They tend to your care immediately.

Go for the executive room , decent price and food, pocket friendly and more importantly neat and clean room and washroom

At reception Mr. Raj is a gentleman. they hv own resturant veg nonveg both availble till 11 pm. rooms are spaceious. the only issue is bathrooms are little small and not much cleaned.service is prompt. overall nice and good exp. Appearance is deceptive..that holds true here. Non existent services. Night time DJ music disturbance.. horrible.little space within the room and outside as well. Surprisingly small double bed. Electric water kettle was broken. House keeping number goes unanswered a number of times. No breakfast before 7.30 am even when youre leaving for catching the flight at 7 am and requesting them to provide fruits or whatever is ready. Very ridiculous. No value for money paying ..plus for a day. Never stayed in such a hotel.

Centrally located in Ashok Nagar. Only three cars can park. But Valet parking available. Small rooms. Smaller wash rooms. Clean. Reasonably ok service. Staff training ok. Coffee never hot unless you physically force the cook. You don’t get food in this hotel and have to step out but many joints close by. 40 mints from airport. No fans only ac and it takes a looong time to cool. So if you expect to rush in from the heat into a cool room this is not the place. Pleasant staff

The hotel is in good location with in city with good connectivity options.The main problem was the internet and wifi as it was not working for 1 whole day of my 3 days stay and after that also it was very very slow even for the normal browsing and checking emails.the breakfast needs to be improved in variety as well as taste.Parking is an issue as there is parking only for max of 4 cars in front of the lobby ,even though there is vallet parking assistance is there they too park only in the opposite side of the road .rooms are neat and well furnished.The reception female staff in the front desk mannerism,body language and way of talking sometimes make us think that she is doing a favour by making us stay there. I think she needs to be trained keeping in mind that this is a hospitality industry and we are guests.

Room is pretty good and comfy. food is average but not that bad. since it is inside city some rooms might not have windows. other than that if u r looking for budget stay this is perfect for that.

The hotel overall is very good. No complaints on that part. But the lady at the reception by the name Ms. Priya somehow happened to be very tough and rude. The day of our check out, we were out and shopping a little. She called us up on our mobile and asked us - Where are you? I am calling up the room and nobody is picking up.. At least that is very unpleasant.. There were many more questions like this from her. She was somehow behind us to ensure we check out on time and there is no delay. I would really appreciate if somebody more pleasant and pleasing handles that part of the reception.

Good value for money hotel, facing centinial square in kodambakkam. Lots of good food joints near by including both veg and non veg options..Room service and free breakfast are good and hygienic. The gentleman serving eggs in the breakfast really makes you feel at home and serves you with a smile - Peps you up for a day!

Nice place, Its a compact hotel, the rooms are good for a couple and three might feel crammed up a bit. The best part of it would be Big Bang Theory Its one of the citys best hang outs in terms of live music and good food. Fairly priced alcohol and not too noisy in there compared to many other places.

Booked the party hall for a birthday party. The hall was on the top most floor of the building. They have only one lift. The food was a buffet offered by their sister concern, Big Bang Theory restaurant, which is located in the same building. The food was fantastic. Amazing work in terms hospitality by the hotel staff for elderly guests. Top it all the rent was reasonable.

Id a great experience here. Last Sunday we did naming ceremony function for my little princess. Good ambience, excellent food arrangement, pioneering in other services too. Thanks to Brown Star Hotel Manager, he was the person cooperated very well.

The boutique hall is good for small functions or get-togethers. The buffet was good compared to other halls. But there is limited parking space available.

Parking area must have to be expanded has it doesnt have enough space when theres 5+ cars, restaurant is not tastier but good for a day , bar is one of best in surroundings ... Meetings halls are got for a meeting with 50 persons .... Personal rooms good though bathrooms are cleaned regularly , people working here are friendly .... Overall good for buissness stays and not good for personal stay...

Went there to enquire about banquet halls. I was made to wait in the reception area for ten minutes. Then a boy, who seemed not to care much for anything in the world, showed me the hall. He was non committal in responses, didnt know much about the questions I asked. Then, on the way down, he took me to the first floor, made me wait a few minutes and then just abandoned me. After waiting a few minutes, I just went back to the reception. The top management were very cordial and excellent, though.

Stayed here for two days. It was good. I thought it stinked due to some drainage leak in the morning but it is not so bad rest of the day.

I regularly have my monthly team meeting at Hotel Brown star for almost one year . Food is excellent. Staff are polite and helpful. Overall Service is good. The hall is good and excellent AC.

The breakfast was amazing and fulfilling. Whatever problems we had were resolved by the management. They arranged us for a cab when our Ola was cancelled. We stayed only for a night but it was good.

They dont have top/over-head showers. The room that I stayed had only hand shower. The receptionists told me that they have only hand showers in all the rooms. It was a hassle to adjust the hand shower for the right height and right temperature. Breakfast buffet could have much more local variety and need to be refilled quickly. Otherwise, the executive room was comfortable.

Good hotel to stay bit expensive around 2000INR per day.. For those appear exams in prometric centre this is a good choice as centre is directly opposite to the hotel.. Room service is good and staff also very nice.. Have a restaurant within serves good food(2019 dec)I did a second visit on september 20-22 2021 so initially i was allotted a room which doesnt have cooling for AC later I was shifted to another roomThe WiFi connection speed is 20 Mbps which is poor they should definitely improve the speed to 50 or 100 for the charges they charge

Note that theres a difference between the room they give you when booking through OYO, and the direct reservation (obviously, the latter is costlier). The room service is really good. The rooms are fairly comfortable. The reception service can be okay to awful. I stayed a whole week, but never had got water for showers :(

Attended a company meeting. Initially, the AC was not working. Projector was bad.Food quality was poor.Lift / elevator carrying people to the 4th floor is avoidable as the door was not closing properly and not more than 3 persons can get inside in one trip

Worst service at Banquet hall. Lift is the pathetic of all only 2 persons accommodate in it. Service area is so pathetic that you wish the function was not yours. No coordination if management plans to keep it chaotic then i dont see any business that will repeat.

Called the hotel for a bulk booking. The lady rep took my call, put me on hold and was talking on the other line regarding her personal issue. I was kept on hold for 4 mins and i cut the call. I booked 10 rooms at another hotel. if this is how a customer is treated on the first call, then what will be the real scenario if we book the room. Please stay away.

NEVER EVER BOOK this hotel if you are looking for even a decent place to stay. The hotel staff is unprofessional and unreliable.Even after booking on make my trip and confirming the day ahead, the room was not given and they tried to shift us to some serive apartment and a low grade hotel.They shifted us to some low grade hotel which was not even clean. You will be mentally tortured as to why you booked this hotel.The receptionist is unreasonable and has no professional quality.
