Good institute for students who prepare & prefer Plastic & Moulding engineering field. One can choose Short term Diploma, 3years Diploma or B.Engg in Plastic engg or Moulding Technology. Yesterday this institute celebrated its 50th anniversary. Admissions are through competitive exams like TNEA, GATE, etc only.

Dont waste your money in MPPD, IES courses. Costs are too high youll get nothing about industrial training. The softwares are also too old versions.

I went on an iv there and they made us aware of many things about many things regarding plastic.

The only advantage of studying here is because of the rarity of the course. Other than that everything is trash. The machines wont work, explicit language by some staffs, improper management and all such rubbish.This is a honest review by a CIPET student. Thank you

Nice institute and very good knowledged faculty.Good laboratory. All systematic procedures. Some advanced instruments are there to learn.The staffs are polite in nature. They are knowledge sharing person.

I am studying CAD/CAM Using NX , they provide tool knowledge along with Design.Very good place to learn. Staffs are Easy going. Good Placement too.

Overall infrastructure interms of lab facilities, library are good... For plastic technology (and related courses), students can interact with some of the best minds in plastics field ..

CIPET has an industry inside the campus. It helps students to gain better knowledge. But this advantage cant be used by all students. Students are not getting exposure practically. This college gives full freedom to students. Students can use this freedom either in right way or wrong way.

Its a wonderful facility which is well equipped and maintained. Needs more advertising. Many courses throughout the year. People from all over India study here.
