Tambram vegetable market is so narrow. You can not park vehicles in a safe place. All places are crowded and conjested. Now lets us see the positive side. Every thing is available here. You can buy all your needs at a stretch. Rates are very affordable. Fresh vegetables are available. Particularly on Fridays, when people go away to Pallavaram weekly market. On that day, Tambaram market is airy.

I bought fish from a vendor for the right price. But the dryfish vendor and a vegetable vendor simply cheated me since I didnt bargain. Later, realised those are cheaper in my nearby shops itself. So, if you know the average prices of everything, then this is a place for you to bargain and buy for the lower price

Yet another wonderful place in chennai. Tambaram Bazar. You get everything here. Today I came to buy herbs, only my wife knows the name of them. Just gave the list and got everything. On the next door you have the tambaram grinding shop where I gave all these and made it as a herbal powder. Wonderful shopping place. You get fruits, veg, flowers, stationeries, sweets, hotels, trains to chennai city and bus to all other places of chennai and south Tamilnadu. Happy shopping and travelling.

Its ok but getting product takes time and they dont even bother to answer what we ask for and seriously discussing about their vendor payment/business development for which i have to wait until their discussion gets over.

Easy access to stores... I have. Wasted my time to reach Koyambedu for all my needs but Tambaram is very near with the same price as Koyambedu market. If u need anything in bulk quantity u can easily get in from Tambaram instead of going to Koyambedu

Tambaram Market is a place where you can get all fruits and vegetables at the lower cost than the ones which are sold at Super MarketsSo if you are a person who likes to get fruits or vegetables at cheaper rates then you can surely visit and get them, the only disadvantage here its always hectic and crowded.

In this market you can buy all the items including fruits. Fruit rates are low when you compare with the shops. Vegetable they are selling at the rate of 20rs per pocket. Able to park 2 wheeler on the road side. Try to go on noon times. Bought vegetables all are good.

For a small family, the Rs 20/- pkts are very useful. Exatly 5 pkts for a week, and by purchasing pototo, tomoto and oinion we can manage the whole week, at the most with Rs.200/- in an average and wastage of vegetables are also curtailed.

Very old and well known market place and just opposite to Tambaram railway station. This area became a market place from 18th century. Market will be busy from morning 6am to night 11pm. All households, provisions, plastics, electronics, vegetables, fruits, fresh meat, egg, fish...All you would get in this market place. This place can be easily reachable by train, bus, auto and cabs. Parking will be a challenge for 4 wheelers in the market place.
