No Doubt on the standards. Staff were pretty supportive. They go beyond boundaries. The kind of food served was Hygienic and Tasty. Most of the things are automated. I Loved the stay and enjoyed. Thanks Residency Towers to made my stay memorable. Keep doing the same good work and keep rocking

The marriage hall has good ambience...the hotel food is good......Parking has lesser capacity compared to residency hotel...The room is pretty good,neat and tidy

Went to attend a marriage in basement hall.Hotel is good.well maintained.In prime locationOnly point that looked strange was, after finishing our breakfast in the basement function, we had to go to the floor above after crossing the marriage hall for washing our hands as there was no wash basin or restroom available in basement. This can be addressed by the hotel

Well somethings are like fine wine , so is the food at Residency. Food comes out good when its made with warmth and served with love and not just something you sell. Well you get that kinda feeling

I went there for buffet lunch. It was good. But not up to the mark. Few items were really tasty. Few items were average.

I had stayed in Marriott and GRT in chennai, but nothing could me more excited or make me fall in love with this City. But the people in Residency towers Chennai, not only made me feel at home but also made my stay one of the most pleasant ones. The room is quite spacious and complete with automatic control for everything. Breakfast at the Main Street had a ton of variety. The view at the Crown is something to die for. The ordered something off the menu and trust me the chef did not disappoint. Managers Mr Michael is one of his kind. Do search for him when you visit here. Mr Birsing is another manager who helped a ton. The staff is so helpful that it never felt like I did not know Tamil, I never felt alienated. The bills were also quite low compared to other 5 star property. But the rooms are non smoking and there is a hefty fine if you do so. The ambiance is awesome and will recommend everyone staying in Chennai.

Pathetic experience where you find cockroaches in their rooms. The manager is so pathetic that they dont bother of guests and cover up the matter. Please dont visit this hotel. I recommend not to visit ever. Pls check the pics of cockroaches roaming inside the rooms

Food was average though the staff is courteous..had a feeling that it lost its ambience,quality etc..

Five star hotel . Grand building . All facilities as required for a Five star . Staff to be more conscious of using mask especially in this Covid time . A staff entered elevator with me without mask. He wore mask only after leaving the Elevator .

Had a great dinner buffet at Main Street. The place aims at being similar to the London street vibe and it nails it. Amazing ambience, service is top notch and the food is quite good. Its truly worth the money you spend! Definitely recommended for anyone.

Was a pleasure to stay here for a fortnight .. Excellent service from arrival to departure.Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful...Suresh, Samshitha, Michael, Anand, Kevin, Marimuthu , Dilipan, and all other staffs whom I have noticed...Rooms are clean with modern tech and furniture and with all amenities you may need.The bed was ,,King-size and very comfortable for sleep.WiFi works perfectly.The hotel restaurant had a great buffet breakfast, Lunch and dinner..The staff offered a great dinner suggestion.It was also good and reasonably priced.The hotel is located right in centre of the city....I would recommend this hotel for both buisness or pleasure trips.

Post covid they brought lot of precautions.. Also they changed the place with new automated systems in room, quite good..

The property looks nice and luxurious. Its in central location and close to shopping centres. The rooms are modern with lots of new technologies. Its nice & convenient that you can control everything (lights, tv, ac, order food, housekeeping etc) of the room from the iPad. Im an Agoda Platinum member (I had perks like 15% discount on f&b, spa and laundry) and I requested higher floor. However, that request was not entertained. I didnt like the view from the initial room that I was assigned and requested if I could have a different room with better view. I was showed two other rooms and I decided to pick a room which had a view of the front main road. Even though it was bit noisy but it was better than the first room which had a blocked view. As Id be staying in the room almost the whole day so it was nice to be able to see some outside action.The bed and pillow could be of better standard. I would rate the bed and pillow comfortability 6.7 out of 10. The toilet got those fancy Japanese toilets. Might be too overwhelming for some who are not used to it. All required amenities were provided. The shower was nice. However, Im not sure about the maintenance and cleanliness. I found a cockroach in the toilet. After running around for some time I was able to kill the cockroach. Maybe there is a cockroach infestation. Also I woke up in the middle of the night. There was a swelling on the skin. Not sure if it was bedbugs. I just extended my stay for one more night before I went to bed and I wish I didnt.The breakfast option was poor. Probably only focused on local customers. Only Indian options available. The supervisor said due to lockdown they couldnt get all the ingredients so the options are limited. But that sounded like an excuse. Ive been stuck in Indian for over 3 months due to border closure. And during this time I stayed in several local and international chain 5 star hotels. Among all these hotels the buffet breakfast option at The Residency Towers was the poorest. However I tried the puri and alo vegetable and that tasted good. So if youre okay with only Indian breakfast options then youll be fine. I stopped going to the breakfast after the first day. For me not worth paying for the white bread, butter, jam and omelette. My table was next to the live kitchen. What I noticed is that the chef lacked passion. It seemed like he doesnt enjoy cooking and just doing it for the sake of the job. Which reflected on the omelette I was presented. Even lack of bowls or small plates for fruits were shocking. The way the buffet breakfast was running it seemed like some cheap 2 star hotel trying to save money on everything.I ordered in room dining the first night. The food was good. Even though I had 15% discount on f&b as an agoda platinum member, however, even after the discount the price seemed too much. The food was good but not that extraordinary to justify the price. Later I decided to order through swiggy. Many amazing restaurants near by. Even though I spent similar amount but the food was yummy and good value for money.Despite all these one thing can completely change the experience of the stay is the hospitality and the willingness of the staffs to help. Im really sorry to say the whole staff from Bell boys to front desk would benefit from doing some hospitality and customer service course. All interactions felt cold and lacked the warmth of Indian hospitality. After experiencing great hospitality and willingness of the staffs to go out of their way to make the stay comfortable from similar 5 star properties, it was rather disappointing to have this experience here. Just the fancy room alone is not good enough for me to extend the stay when you can get better service for similar price and higher standard just a block away. I must again say its a beautiful modern property but I wish their service was also of high standard. Will I come back again? Umm maybe if they can significantly improve their service!

Came here for post Covid duty quarantine as a doctor. Very good staff reception and attention. But roaches and rat? Never heard of such things in a star rated hotel. But I experienced it personally. Lots of roaches in my room and a rat in my friends room. Final verdict... Very good staff... Poorest hygiene. Time to stay safe... Somewhere else

Bharat Petroleum Retired staff Association conducts there anuall general body meeting here for more than a decade. The Residency towers Hotel is centrally located at T nagar. The service at the hotel is also good.

Best part of the stay was.. the rooms were fully controlled on iPad.. be it lighting, curtains, blinds, tv, ac, menu, etc.. and the toilet was fully automatic.. rest comforts are also available at other star properties so not worth the mention.. overall too cool..

I have recently been to this place to write my IELTS exams and it is absolutely choas.There are mosquitos everywhere. The lobby, on the lift, and in the examination hall too. They should really do something about this.

The banquet hall called premier is the grandeur ambiance offered by the residency towers, the place is of high ceiling and classy wood worked interior, its basically a perfect place to host a classy event, the place is totally posh and highly recommended to conduct family events.
