Whole passengers standing entrance of the bus stand.And one more worst thing if 91 bus moving from bus stand then continuously 5 to 6 , 91 route buses going together. Same 95 buses also all going one by one. Then for another 30 minutes no bus available. Why this much bad time management. All buses going empty. Thats why Chennai bus corporation running in big lose.

Typically badly maintained bus terminus of the Transport Corporation. No announcement system. No display indicating departures. Gets flooded even during moderate rainfalls. Rainwater Harvesting Systems should be installed immediately before the S.W. Monsoon sets in. The saving grace is the connectivity to the Southern suburbs and the CMBT.

Buses are available for sure from 6 am to 10 pm. Wait time for the buses is subjective.Beware of the crowd during peak hours 9 -10 am and 6-7 pm.Buses are very economical just as their ticket charges ,but buses are not mainatined clean mainly because our people cant resist throwing trash anywhere they wish. :(If you dont mind all the crowd and cleanliness , you will love travelling in these mtc buses :)3 stars for well connected buses and cheap travel.

Depot in a filthy condition. Not maintained properly. During rain the area (depot) gets flooded with water. No restroom, no public convenience.

This depot is near to Adyar depot and Thiruvanmiyur MRTS railway station. Connecting bus to multiple routes drives through OMR and ECR.

Buses: The area is easily accessible by Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses and has a sprawling bus terminus. The MTC bus stops in the area are Jeyanthi Theatre, Thiruvanmiyur Bus Stand, Marundeeswarar temple, R.T.O office and Tidel park. SETC buses heading towards Pondicherry passes through the area and has a bus stop.

Can board buses to almost most of the places in Chennai.Place is not neat. And tends to log water even after a drizzle.The public toilets are not even considerable as an option for using the restroom as it is not in usable condition. Beware of the food vendors sell in this place as it may not be hygienic.

Connect to South and other Coastal area of Chennai.But its not clean area and water logging.

No rest room.No proper time table.No responsible staff.All the 3 compound wall portions are used as Toilet.Even MTC staffs using it as urinal point.After getting information from the timekeeper for the next bus, that bus wont go next.Some other bus will start, then you have to come out from the bus and start the race to get a place.In rainy season you wont let your foot down because of water upto one foot.Always all the buses are stopping on the main road and asking passengers to get down.Its a big nusence for public.

Lots of buses are available in a very bad condition, there is no face lift for improving the facilities at bus stand in the past 20 years with respect to amount of growth due to improvement in IT industries. Theres no scheduled timing for the buses. Theres not sufficient space to park the buses here, better to shift this terminus to VGP hence theres vast development upto Mahabalipuram. This will also help to improve traffic quosk here. This will become very difficult to go inside bus stand during rainy season due to water stagnation.

Tiruvanmiyur connects almost all parts of chennai from broadway till poonamalle.Vast no of busses are available to different locations of chennai(Tambram,CMBT,Poonamalle,Central) but less no of ac busses but still its a good means of transport.Nowadays place has become so diry that drainage flows into the bus stand and the people have no choice walking on it.It smells very bad.
