Worst service. I came for kyc verification. But they are not responding properly,still kyc under verification process and then I went to icici bank. Within 1 day itself I got everything debit card , cheque book and also verified the kyc within minute. Please kindly remove that tag no.1 Indian bank.
We wanted to close our Dmat a/c held jointly with HDFC bank. Neither this bank now the Main branch in Mumbai ready to help in this covid situation. Lot of crowd here in this counter and a big No from Mumbai to apply online closer.Tricky situation -both staff and the customer are frustrated.Need a suitable solution for this ASAP
No social distancing followed in waiting room, unhygine stairs. Too much crowd and no measures taken like appointment walk-ins. Poor maintenance
My hdfc account ten years old and I am maintaining good amount of money in it frequently. I have been cheated by a fraudulent company for loan and my hdfc account had been registered for e mandate with the fraud company. I am scared what they gonna do and how much amount thy will loot. When I approached my branch they said only tnagar branch can handle this. I ran to this branch and I explained the situation to them. They didnt even lend the ears completely stupid and I literally said them they will take money from my account. They didnt even care. They said go to first floor second floor. I was almost asked to go up and down almost one hour. Finally I went to a dumblady she is operational manager. Do u know what she responded? She said me call customer care and they will take care of it. I told her my money will be taken by the scammers. She didnt even bother she answered me very cool call customer care. Guys come on u are the worst bank I ever seen please shutdown the business close the bank. I am gonna not leave this here. Will write till the CEO hears this incident. I will file consumer case too.
I have been a customer of HDFC Bank Ltd for the past ten years using your services in personal banking, credit card, Insurance, and loan services. Earlier your services were excellent but when you grow up you completely forgotten the customer service. Nowadays your security and office boy you are using for the banking services in the bank to handle customers. Today when I visited your T.Nagar (Chennai) branch in the two-wheeler loan division in the morning it was so irritating the way you are treating your customers as if that you are doing a free favour to us. You have kept a security guard and an office boy where they are speaking to me as if what they said is the rules of HDFC Bank and they don’t want to let me in the bank. A NOC Form 35 seal is required from an RTO which has to get it from the bank. You people nowhere mentioned that while coming to the bank you want the letter from the HDFC bank which has been sent to you for the loan closure. Cant, you find my details in the system from the loan number which I provided? , mobile number? , SMS Received from Bank? which I tried to show you. Who hell has given the rights to your bank security guard and office boy to enquire about this? Don’t you have MAY I HELP YOU DESK? , Don’t you have Service Desk? Is that they are treating you like you are doing a favour to me. Check my records from the day I opened my bank account in HDFC. Stop harassing customers, because I got irritated. And there comes in your service desk, what kind of staff you have kept as she is murmuring to check this details. You need only money right not service. Very poor in handling customers, pathetic service received today in this past ten years.

Very very poor response from this branch, went to this branch for passbook entry but refused to do then I got done in other branch, staffs working there are totally not interested in their work spoiling the banks name.
I have taken loan for my mobile.. When i requested to change the my bank account from were amount is get debited. I submitted the letter also but no response from 3-4 weeks. He said will revert to my mail or call me. But no response so far.

Ground floor: General Retail banking services,First & Third floor: Retail Loan Closure/Loan Processing, Do you have your token in hand, If not immediately get it from the security next to door, Dont believe in the Token number displayed inside the waiting hall if the crowd is too much during COVID, Your token number might have already gone so ensure you ask some officials who roam here and there, There is a seperate counters for Loan Closure alone so make sure you check or ask the official so they guide you correctly, If you take the token in the morning or afternoon and come back after 1 or 2 hrs please ask the official what is the current token number, Else you will loose your turn. ADVICE TO ELDERLY , SINCE THIS IS COVID 19 SITUATION, REQUEST YOU TO TAKE THE TOKEN AND COME BACK AFTER AN HOUR OR TWO IF YOU FIND TOO MUCH CROWD.

I should say the worst bank branch in chennai.No proper seating facility. Only total 5 counters but more than 200 tokens issued for servicing customers.. . No precaution followed in covid.. No scanning and sanitation done..overcrowding even during corona virus pandemic.While giving loan u can service us with limited documentation.. And hassle free service, but to close the loan u make us wait for hours without any proper communication.. All this can be made digital.. We should be given access to close our loan at our netbanking..

And forget about the customers, a guy was coughing AND his nose was completely exposed, he was allowed to walked in, no problem! Try to be in the bank early as possible before the opening time to get the earliest token and try to have the amount in your bank account rather than liquid cash.Most importantly,try to go in weekdays rather than saturdays.If all these are feasible then your banking process there is simple.

Loan division floor is very much cramped.No proper waiting hall for customers, their are simply asked to sit outside and thats how they treat their customers. Highly recommended not to visit especially in this pandemic times, as they really couldnt follow social distancing norms.

The loan section executive and manager is very bad in response .I went to the bank to close my personal loan and I am gold edge customer .Before reaching to bank I have contacted customer care for any additional charges is applicable and they not you will not having any charges as your are gold edge customer.But when I went to the bank the executive and manager are telling gold customer is not reflecting in their server and they are asking me to pay additional charges, have waited of 3 hrs no use . Please dont to go this branch for closing as its waste of time

Opened after long break of renovation. Has ATM attached. This branch is always quite busy with full of customer. The staff is friendly and helpful. After renovation its ambience is pleasant. Located at the main GN Chetty road and not enough parking available, especially for cars.
Worst branch in the city. I opened my saving account a month ago but my name and mobile number is not updated in my account till now. Bank staff Mr Bogar asked me to deposit more cash, listening to him i transferred 1 lakh to that account and still not able to access that account and now MR bogar is not attending my calls. Worst banker he is and the worst branch it is. They are not ready to help.

I am one of the AC holders in IDFC Nungambakkam, I have visited to tnagar branch to deposit my cheque leaf from another bank. I could see guys are immediately approached me for the assistance. But while trying to fill up the Demand Draft, As a Tamil speaking Indian. I couldnt see any option to fill up my details in Tamil when i approach to the employees they are simply smiled and neglect to provide me the feedback form. So that, I am requesting to made a Demand Draft option in Tamil to make me comfortable to fill up the DD form further.Thank you,

Earlier, for decades, I had very good experiences with HDFC. I had taken two home loans, one car loan, another loan based on car, few personal loans and one life policy for few years. I have repaid all promptly except one for which I have applied for Preclosure.Enquired over phone details for Preclosure and I was told to bring whatever is required for it including cheque. I am 65 years old. I visited the t Nagar branch on 17/9/2019 with everything required. I had to wait for one hour before going to am executive. The lady told me that their policy is changed one week back and I can close the loan after fifteen days only. My request was registered and receipt given.It is also told that the Preclosure charges are not three percent of the balance amount, but 5% + taxes.When I called them on 1/10/19, I was told that the duration is not fifteen days, it is fifteen working days and they will call me after three period. Today it is 29th day after begging them for preclosure. When I contacted them yesterday, I was told that, since I didnt get any call they will take a complaint. Today I got their complaint details which tells my complaint will be attended in seven days.I am compelled to pay one EMI extra and more interest as well as extra Preclosure charges.HDFC had a good name and service was better. Now I feel their senior officials are destroying their reputation.
One of the worst branch of HDFC bank. Its having manual token system in this era and that too in metropolitan city.If you have other options prefer that.
Outside there is a banner saying the aadhar seva kendra and all aadhar related service can done here. But when i visited there. Lady there said that they cannot to do it. My question is then for what it is mentioned outside and in Internet. Do you think people travelling till there to get that service are fools.
Today I have visited the HDFC bank loan department in t nagar GN chetty road . It’s was a pathetic experience, the security who was sitting outside (mr. Subramani) feels like he is the general manager for that branch and don’t even treat the customers properly. Sitting on table and watching mobile, being rude to people who asks help.. hdfc suckkks...

Worst bank ever seen. Worst service. Even for small issues they make you to visit for more than 3 days. On saturday only 2 counters are operating since most of the staff are on leave. Whereas as 100s of customer is waiting. They never respond for phone call. No hospitality. Hell for customers.
Opening time is 10.00 but for loan section its 9.30. Loan section moved to 1st floor, be there earlier by 9.30 to get things done quicker.As mentioned in reviews it will be crowded after 10.30. Had a quick process of loan closure.. max 30 mins.After all formalities and check submission, you have to come back to ground floor to bank to submit ur check and get sealed by teller . Then you again want to submit the sealed copy in loan centre to get your loan closure acknowledge copy.Note: I was there by 9.40 and got 5th token 😋😋
Worst branch of hdfc, i am holding salary account for a decade. Bank staffs are hopeless. Dont have energy to waste for these guys. Stay away from here. Never ever cross sign on loan document or allow them to fill on behalf of you. I asked banker to fill interest and emi details for two-wheeler loan before I sign. He filled but asked me to cross sign, which he miss used to edit emi and processing fees.
This bank will really test your patience alot, this bank fits for noting, just for an normal enquiry, they will treat you like dogs ,please dont go to this downtrodden bank

HDFC bank is worst bank i have ever seen in my life.I already closed my account. but still Daily i am getting call from all the branches from Chennai. Its really irritating. I dont know wat to do. HDFC bank should update the customers response in their portal, so that customer contact numbers cannot be circulated and HDFC employees should not call customers and irritiate them.

I applied for personal loan and got a bitter experience. The people responsible for loan do not have enough knowledge about this. They will collect all the documents and we will get the message also regarding loan. But later, those actions are just for eye wash. They do this, just to hit that month sales target. later they will reject it saying some stupid reasons. I told them initially I have not applied for loan previously and have no credit cards. Inspite of telling everything, they rejected after 14 days saying that as I have not applied loan or credit card previously they will not accept this request. A stupid response .. if this is the case those stupid should have mentioned this previously itself not after 14 days. Utter waste of time, lack of knowledge in the working people. If I have an option to give 0.. I can give that. As I dont have that, I have given 1.. Dont waste your time people by choosing the bank as any of your option.
