Hi, Im Joshikaa,I have been learning dance for the past 15 years and recently myself and few of my friends have completed learning our Level 1 of pot dance, thambalam dance and Thalam workshop from our Guru. We have been gaining wide knowledge about the Thalams and its nuances and we got learn the techniques of dancing on a pot and thambalam.We got to know even the minute details into everything we do in dance. It has been a wonderful experience to all of us and each class would be so exciting to learn various things.

Hi,I am Shruthi. I am learning dance for the past 14 years in Narthanalaya Cultural Academy. Recently, I have completed my THALAM Level - 1. I am here to share my THALAM class experience. I was eagerly waiting to learn THALAM for the past few years. This year my teacher gave me an opportunity to learn THALAM. I felt very happy to learn THALAM and enjoyed the class. The classes were very knowledgeable and interesting one. In every class my teacher taught us new things. I have also learned the minute things in Adavus which was very useful while dancing. I would also like to continue next level in THALAM. Thankyou miss and uncle for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I am eagerly waiting to learn more like this in future.

I have been learning Bharathanatyam under the guidance of Guru Smt. Shornalatha Satheesh mam for the past 15 years. Recently myself and a few of my friends completed level 1 in Talam workshop. It was an unique and exiting experience. We enjoyed the classes and we gained a lot of knowledge on Talas and their nuances.

Om Sri Gurubhyo Namaha.This is supraja learning dance for past 14 yrs... I was very much interested and eager to learn Thalam Even my friends. Then our dance miss and uncle accomplished our desire and started Thalam class... Started from MAY onwards.. On the first day When I tapped on my thalakattai the first beat it was a blissful moment.. Each and every class we learned a lot about thalam .we will be waiting with curiosity bcoz every class will be interesting and we explored a lot.. We gained lot of knowledge about Thalam .We started to understand even small subtlety in thalam bcoz our miss taught it in a easy way so that we can understand.At times we felt hard but miss helped us a lot so that it became little easy for us to cope up.we learned 13 adavus,slokam,roopakam and aadhi thalam and so on. Thank you so much miss and uncle for fulfilling our desire.. We completed our level 1 (adavus) .we received certificate too. still lot more to go.. I am awaiting to learn more.

I am Akash student of narthanalaya cultural academy.Online classesHi,our teacher were taking the classes in the whatsapp and our teachers planned to keep the online class in zoom meeting and it was a great experience to attend in zoom meeting 🙂🙂.Online programOur teachers planned to keep a online program.The practice for online program was taken in zoom meeting and we have to go to our dance hall for online program with wearing mask and in our dance class there was a good sanitation with maintaing distance.And I was happy to see our teachers back after so many days.In online program we will dance in our dance hall.But in normal days we will go temple for dance program.In online program our teachers will take video what we dancing and send it to the sabha🙂😃.Online examIt was the first exam I was attending.But I was attending the exam in online.I got good experience to attend the dance exam.

Hi, I am Sadana, I have been learning Barathanatyam in Narthanalya cultural academy for 14 years. Like everything else in this lockdown, we were unable to perform on stage for nearly 8 months. We missed travelling, performing, having fun with friends Uncle and Aunty. Recently we performed for a few YouTube videos and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had the opportunity to perform my arangetram songs and it gave me immense pleasure. Many of my friends and relatives viewed the videos and gave me positive feedback, this was a very good experience and I look forward to more. It was great meeting Aunty and Uncle in person and also performing in class after a long break was a blissful experience!We have been having online classes throughout the lockdown and it has been an wonderfula and interesting experience. Our teachers gave us immense guidance during the lockdown to improve our dance and we were able to learn lots of new songs. On the whole it was a unique but wonderful experience.I recently wrote my Annamalai University Grade Exam (Grade 8). It was great experience preparing for and writing the exam. Our Teacher gave us extensive knowledge about the required subject. Myself and my friends gained a lot of knowledge in this process. It was a enlightening experience.

Actually we should record our performance and send it in the link provided for us as the examiner informs. But to a surprise aunty was our examiner, then aunty and uncle told that there is no second shot for mistakes we do,but we have perfectly done at single shot itself. Thank you🤗🤗

Hi, myself Joshikaa,I love going to my dance class and since the lockdown started I was afraid that I might not be able to go for dance class but our Miss and Uncle started whatsapp classes for us where work was given to us on a daily routine and from September onwards we started having Zoom online classes. Whatsapp classes were interesting, we learnt many new songs through Whatsapp but Zoom classes were way more enjoyable where we have lively conversations with our teachers and friends. Meeting everyone in Zoom after a very long time made us all happy and excited. We learn new lessons and we talk and discuss about various things during our class. I hope that this pandemic will end soon and we all will meet in person in class and continue our learning process.25/12/2020My friends and I recently wrote our Annamalai University Bharatanatyam Examination (Grade 8). Even though we had a short period of time to learn, our teachers made it easy for us to gain immense knowledge in the subject. We also got to know about history and varities of dance in detail. It was so exiciting for us to learn new things in each and every class.

Hi friends this is Oviya.I am studying in Narthanalaya cultural academy. We are very interested and it is jolly to learn dance, some new and important tips.we were doing many performances in temples and auditoriums.we have made many other performances in famous temples and we will go on doing many performances.💖💖💖But... unfortunately because of this corona and because of this extending lockdown we were unable to meet each other in class 😔.But.. from 24 March we started to have video classes.The video classes were ended at 31st August and our online zoom class were started at 4th September.😊At the first class we did half sitting handstiffness and.Our first song in zoom class started.The song was :1.ThillanaI was very jolly and excited.In this lockdown we have a facility to see all my friends after a long break.I was very happy. 😃In our class they held many YouTube videos with one batch.All the videos were nice I loved all the videos.The songs which they danced were new and interesting with jathis.It was very very nice.Super Akkas who danced in youtube. 😊I am also very eagerly waiting to do a YouTube video as soon as possible 😊In our online class it is very interesting.I have finished 1 song in my class and I am doing my second song 1. Hi ,Myself ShruthiI am loving & enjoying my dance class by learning new things.Recently I did my programme at Malaysia which was awesome & memorable programme. I enjoyed a lot . The trip was fully fulfilled. I am eagerly waiting to do many programmes like this in future☺️😊😉.Today we had a shoot in our dance class. After many months we met our miss and uncle. I felt very happy and enjoyed a lot. It was a great experience after many months to perform infront of our teacher😀😀. I am happy and glared that our miss took initiative to enhance our interest towards dance which was really more interesting . Thank you miss for giving me this great opportunity to take part in this shoot . I and supraja enjoyed and gained a good experience from this shoot. I am waiting to do many shoot & programme like this in future ..After the shoot my teacher posted our videos in the YouTube channel NARTHANALAYA CULTURAL ACADEMY . I am glared and happy that many of relatives and friends saw my dance videos . After few days our miss and uncle gave a surprise to me and to my friend supraja . Which we never expected 😍😍. They gave us a chance to perform a song which was a tribute to our legend SPB sir. At that time , we felt so happy and became speechless. Thank-you miss and uncle for giving me a chance to perform that song . I am eagerly waiting to learn more songs and jathis in upcoming years...Due to this pandemic situation , we started to learn through online class. We started our online class in the month of September. It was really amazing experience to meet our teachers and friends . Our online class is quite interesting. We learnt wonderful varnam which contains beautiful jathis and swarams. We also practise our old steps , old songs ,learn new things, discuss many things in our class. I am really happy to dance infront of my teacher. I enjoy attending online class😘😍☺️☺️Hi friends, I am here to share my grade theory exam experience. We learnt our portions by going to class by taking up all the precaution measure as per the government rule. Our miss taught the portions in a interesting way by giving more examples. Which helped me to learn quickly and easily. Due to this pandemic, we took our exam in online in our class. We did our exam well. Thankyou miss and uncle for motivating and supporting me😍😍

I enjoy each and every class learning new things ... Recently I went to a programme held in MADURAI Meenakshi Amman temple .... throughout the trip we had lot of fun ... through this I can able to get more exposure .. I had more memorable moments in my class , programme . We travel a lot together ...I had most precious time in my class ... Each and every class will be very interesting .we did programme in different places which gave us a great experience for the life time ...Thank u so much aunty nd uncle for ur valuable reply..Hi frndz this is supraja. If u want to see our videos it will be uploaded in our YouTube channel .Overall it was a great day . looking forward for more programme 😃😁Hi everyone this is supraja ..today I m going to share my theory grade exam classes ..we met in class with precautions and we learnt 12 chapters for our grade exam ..It was easy for us bcoz miss taught each and every chapter elaborately nd it was interesting to learn about that chapters . Aunty made those chapters easy by telling it in a sequence .we did our online grade theory exam in our class so it was comfortable for us ..we learnt all the chapters so it was quite easy for us to do the exam with restraint ..finally we did our exams well 😊

I just love going to my dance class.We get to dance and explore our dance in different places.Recently I went to Chotanikara(Kerala).We had super fun there and danced with joy and happiness.I wish to be in this dance class for my whole lifeWe enjoy together and have a great and wonderful trip.I had and I am having a wonderful time going on........Hi friends this is Adwita,I am going to share about my wonderful experience I am having in my online class. We learnt Varnam(Swami naan undhan) and are on working on our corrections.I am really glad that we meet in online classes, have fun learning new things, new songs, steps and share a lot more experience we all had... Happy to see everyone in online class (my teachers and friends)...We are extremely happy and always be the same......Hope we all meet very soon ☺☺☺Hi this is AdwitaI am going to share my grade exam experience.We had our regular classes at 6:30 in the morning till 8 for our grade exam. We had fun while learning and we learnt a lot. It was an amazing experience for us.I was in grade 6 so I had three bedhas(padha, mandala and Bhramari), a kavthuvam (natesha)and a padam(adi kondar).Our exams were on 11 December which was held differently this year, it was a virtual exam for us. We had to record the video from the starting till end and there will be no retakes taken if we do a mistake. To our surprise our aunty was our examiner.We all did our exams very well in a single shot.It was a marvellous experience for us.... 😇Thank you aunty and uncle ☺

We enjoy all our classes and Learn more new , good and different songs . We also had our grade exam practice sessions in online and were happy to learn the lessons taught . Thankyou aunty and uncle😁🙏
