In simple, its a Jain restaurant. Other than theme restaurant dont expect anything from this hotel. Speaking about pricing, its too high and didnt worth at all. Once you enter theyre asking if youve booked table. We didnt. They gave seat near rest room. Me and my friend went, they gave two seater which is very uncomfortable to eat. Also Ive asked to change the seat. Even though theyve seats at the top floor they didnt provided and I got a reply that seats are reserved. Worst experience I never had before in any restaurant at Chennai.

Great food experience at Kaidhi kitchen. A different experience in a different place. Service was excellent. Mr. Josephs service was stupendous and he was very polite. He attended to our requests very quickly. Taste of the food was really good. Ambience and Hygiene were also worthy. Value for money. Mr. Dominic at the front desk was also very humble and helpful. Overall i would recommend this place for a good catch up point with friends and family...3 cheers to the team...

This hotel will give a different vibes. Servers there dressed like prisoners and prison warden according to their theme of the hotel is really different. Food tastes good.

Amazing food and ambience. You wont regret choosing a veg restaurant; they have a great menu and they get the food ready within 5-8 mins. The quantity is also big so Id suggest you to order less and take it from there. Staff was very friendly and flexible. They gave us an 8 seater table for just the four of us. We had an entire cell to ourselves. Overall a nice experience. Will definitely go again.

This is my all time fav restaurant.. menu items are limited now(may be due to corona.. not sure) .. even if the items are limited, but quality remains same.. 😍 since it’s a corona time, we didn’t see much crowd . They do follow the safety procedures before getting into the restaurant .no much varieties of desserts. Only sizzling brownie and flavours of ice creams..must try: spaghetti, cheese balls(the best)

The ambience is good. To our suprise all dishes ordered were good. Ideally, Chinese food will be good at a Chinese restaurant, likewise other cuisine. However, from the Baked Vadapav to the Pan-fried chilli garlic noodles everything was exquisite. The spotlight was the Italian, Spaghetti with white sauce. The service from the staff is friendly and approachable. The only disadvantages were it took time to receive the dishes, but that can be overlooked as this is one of the busiest restaurant I have seen during this pandemic situation. The second factor is for the price, it bit high.

I think they took the name very seriously.🤦‍♂️We are literally treated as jail inmates by the so called staffs who r dressed up in police attires.By far the worst kind of hospitality we have ever received in a restaurant, hands down.Few starters were good but before u could start eating, their attitude will add insult to injury..Try at ur own risk...Hope the staffs are taught some lessons on being polite by their top brass and stop behaving as if they own the entire chain..A definite zero star (wish Google has that option)...

The food was good and had unique style. Generally hotter/spicier, even some of the bread varieties.Although it is an interesting choice for name and theme of the restaurant, it is a bit difficult to notice it from outside, especially in the night, due the greyness everywhere on the wall and the door.

We had gone to this restaurant first time for my wifes birthday. As it is a working day not much crowd. The prison theme is wonderful and we enjoyed it. We had done our booking a day earlier and requested for a seat inside the jail room. Any way its first come first serve. You have to make the booking only during the hours of operation. For instance, they open for lunch at 12 noon. So if you call for booking at say 10.30 am, the line will keep on ringing and no one will answer. This is something strange. Management need to look into this. We have been given excellent service by Mr Joseph. He has a rich experience of around 2 decades in the hotel industry and it shows in the hospitality. The dishes were of excellent taste and we loved it. We really wanted to meet the Chef and personally thank him. But we were told that he is in a meeting. Not sure of the real reason though. Management should allow the niceties and appreciation to reach the real person behind the scene instead of giving an excuse like this. Any way its up to them to the up the standard and we dont care about it. I am giving 5 star for the ambience, the hospitality by Mr Joseph and the tasty dishes!

Kaidi Kitchen is a good place for vegetarians - they serve Italian,Mexican and North Indian foods.Taste is good and overall a good experience in a theme restaurant.

A famous themed restaurant in Mylapore !!!!A best restaurant for pure vegetarian lovers. The atmosphere is calm, clean and decent & it is a good place for friends as well as family. The light inside is sort of dim, so that pics dont turn out as best as expected, unless you have an awesome phone with awesome-est camera (for example, like One plus 7). No separate parking area is available, but you can park your vehicle in front of the restaurants gate.The menu has a wide range of cuisine & the rates are affordable. It might take Rs 900 - Rs 1000 for 2 people. The servers are polite and food is served as quick as possible.(PS: Might spot some celebrity faces if you are lucky enough !)

It was a amazing experience.Today only we went for the lunch.We were total 8 College people.5 of them are Non Veg eaters. Since this was a Pure Veg Restaurant we were little tensed before visiting. But after the food was served all the tension flew away. Amazing taste.Our budget was of 5000₹. As restaurant name says Kaidi Kitchen it’s suits very well since they maintained very good theme for restaurant and uniforms for staffs. Really a very big thumbs up for taste and quantity of food they serve. Good thing is only they serve vegetarian food. 4 varieties of starters served was too much 😋 after that main course, sweet & dessert. If you guys are in Chennai and too much hungry to have lunch or dinner then do visit this place because it’s worth for your money.

My experience was bad in khaidi kitchen triplicane, we went two of us me and my wife. they offered near corner near restroom where there is no ambience, we immediately asked to change the place, tables we eat are so cramped , dishes were high in masala, server does not serve , he immediately places and takes dishes as though we need to vacate, no tissues, menu card, no sweet sompu which I always expect at end, overall worst experience, looks like cost cutting but charges of food are high. Hospitality zero rating, rude behaviours.

Best place for vegetarians. Little high fy. We need at least one person to know English for communicate with the bearers in our team. Need the average knowledge about the menu to order. Otherwise the foods are yummy and fresh and one of the best theme restaurant. Here we saw the prison, police and acuste serve the food. But in the prison room 10 members team only allowed for dinning. Other family are placed out side of the prison

Police station themed veg restaurant in mylapore with an ambiance like that of a police station. It has different jail like dining areas and also those red lights which is there on police vehicle. Waiters are dressed like prisoners and some are like police officers. Coming to the food, we ordered crispy baby corn which was extremely good , we also ordered algio olio pan fried momos which was okayish. In main course we ordered kadhai paneer kaali Mirch, chur chur naan and garlic naan. Paneer cubes were so soft and tasty. Chur chur naan was not exactly the same as it was supposed to be but it tastes good. Garlic naan was also soft and buttery. This whole food costs around 1200/- which is pretty decent. Indian food lovers must try this place.

Excellent fine dining vegetarian restaurant in Mylapore. The restaurant is prison themed and gives us an experience of eating from inside of prison cell. Food quantity was adequate and taste was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any vegetarian food lover. The restaurant serves Indian, Thai and some western food.

Simple things not taken care of they get icecream but took 5 mins to give spoon, and ice cream melted by that time, matka gulfi they gave a big spoon which doesnt even get into pot (photo attached) and they dont even understand. Matka kulfi was matka firni not good. Tomoto soup and roti subji were good. Pick of the lot was Pizza which was the best.
