It is another temple in IIT Madras campus . Sri Durga Peeliamman is a powerful God. She guards the campus people from snakes, scorpeans etc., Its a holy accord between her and campus. Campus is part of the forest area in RajBhavan.Now temple renovations are going on. Alumni and other devotees can get a chance to participate by donating by small work or things.

Very old temple surrounded by trees. Lot of devotees comes regularly. Stay away from monkies.
