Quality of food served is good...Ambience was not that great.. Beach is near to restaurant..which is definitely a plus...

Overall a joyous experience. Deluxe rooms with sea facing view and balcony are a better fit than the standard rooms. Hospitality can improve a bit with more promptness of services needed. Mosquitoes need to be controlled. Overall would recommend for a pleasant weekend getaway.

It was good. Food was decent. And view was awesome. Make sure to ask about the price if you want to take food near to the beach. Cause they used to charge 200 extra person and 20% extra service charges.

Nice peaceful place...safe for family.. price is bit high but wroth it..after this lockdown due to Covid19..it was real relaxing weekend...waiters are clean and friendly...rooms are big and protected too.. myself and my two teen girls..went for night walk too..loved it.. will go again

So far its the best affordable resort in and around Mahapalipuram. It has very nice beach and amenities like hut, tent etc to relax during sun or rain. The view from resort is good also the swimming pool. It even has a bar facility and childrens play area. Staffs are friendly and food is tasty except one or two (Paratha, Coffee, Rasam) but its okay. Overall a nice resort to spend time with family and friends. I will visit again 🙂🙂🙂

A decent budget place with nice ambience and clean beach

Poor service, not worthy for our money.

You can get buffet lunch of a cost of Rs. 700, otherwise you can order food separately and pay the bill, photos can be taken in the garden area, but when we went to beach side after lunch, the watcman told it cost Rs200 per person to stay there on beach.... We were very dissatisfied after hearing this... But managed to take some pics, the food i found average compared to other restaurants...

Worst breakfast. Overpriced stay. Dont recommend this place for anybody. Only + point is the beach. Thats it.

What a Place!!! We enjoyed thoroughly here at this amazing piece of land just near the shores of Bay of Bengal. The resort is beautifully maintained in the interiors and exteriors. Calm and serene blue sheath of water welcomes you with a warm white froth. The food served here was delicious. The staff here were so amazingly friendly... Their courteous nature made us feel at home... We had a memorable time here. Ours was a corporate outing and we were a group of 30 people. They accomodated to all our needs and tackled our whims and fancies... Mr. Rahaman, Mr.Kumar, Mr. Mohan and others too ... They were friendly to the core and helped us to have a relaxed stay. Good for weekend stay and relaxation at beach

We did our team outing here for around 80+ ppl and wow, we had a great time. The USP of this resort is this open hall right on the beach to conduct the indoor team building activities with an awesome view of the beach and the ease in which the outdoor games like Beach volley ball, throw ball, beach cricket, etc can be conducted, as everything you need is right there. Maintenance is excellent too, clean!!Resort usually has only one outing per day, so you get all the attention and space to do all you want.The food was amazing. We had requested for some more spice than the usual, and boy, the chef made it exactly the way we wanted, perfect!!We got a great deal too, they are flexible with their pricing.Note that we did this outing in December and hence enjoyed the weather out there on the beach, else would have needed the AC indoor hall for the indoor activities and then can move to the beach, post lunch.Highly recommended!!

Overall the stay was very good, here I would like to to give special mention to kitchen staff who are polite and humble.the kitchen head for morning staff is so polite that I have rarely seen people like that. property is with own beach and is a pleasure for a quite night sit out with family.people at reception were not very helpful.

Extraordinary place for fun. A private beach that is so clean and well maintained. Well maintained swimming pool to have fun and the place is just green and beautiful. It has always been my choice of place for a family get-together. Worth staying here for 3 days doing nothing but swimming and playing by the beach. And the mrng sun rise is a beauty. Try being here by 530 and you get an amazing view of sun rise even if its cloudy.

A compact resort with scenic views. Beach cottages and a different type of stay feel here. Excellent food and neat ambiance. Clean beach shore. Had fun with waves. Be careful with timely waves. Worth for the money and time spent. Swimming pool charges separate, but a small one.... Beach swing is such a fun....

A wonderful weekend spent along with friends and families at this place. Unlike other resorts, this place for very spacious parking, areas to play cricket, volleyball, badminton and allowed to park our cars very next to our booked room. There are multiple choices in tariff, Standard, deluxe, executive rooms available. Complementary breakfast is good and tasty. Dining area maintained well and services are too quick. Ordering food to room services may higher the cost (20%)extra, so take few minutes and visit the kitchen and enjoy the food. Swimming pool lovely enough separated for kids and adults for safety. When you are going here do pack your swimming tubes and accessories otherwise a rented tubes available @Rs. 100 per tube per hour. Snacks, soft drinks are sold double the printed MRP. Beach is very nearby, we can enjoy sunrise and sunset very calmly. Best place for get together.

We went as a group of 9 people.. Rooms were neat and clean.. Had a blast in the swimming pool.. just the right depth 5ft.. the food here is just ok.. since it rained 2 days of our stay.. we really enjoyed a lot our stay..

Please reconsider your decision if youre planning stay in this resort. This resort meets only few of the requirements of a beach resort. This resort has a private beach, has a swimming pool, demarcated areas for volleyball and badminton, gym and spa. They have well maintained garden as well.Biggest let down here is food. Service is absolutely pathetic, taste is good either. It took 25 minutes for the restaurant to take our order. Food was served after almost 45 minutes after we entered the restaurant. The price is definitely not justified given the quality of food. Moreover, they charge Rs 53 for a litre of Aquafina water bottle and ignore when they are questioned on this! Breakfast is served only after 8.30am. We woke up at 5.30am to see the sunrise and by the buffet breakfast was served, it was so late that we literally had to fight for so called complementary breakfast. Breakfast did not have enough variety either. Quality was not good anyway. My friends were disappointed that good sea food was not available despite this being a beach resort.Overall, food made us feel the stay an average one.

Worst resort I have ever stayed, specially the front desk staff. They are unaware of the hotel industry revelation happened 10 years back. The front desk guy is arguing with me asking Aadhar card for identity verification. I have given my voters card which is valid across country but he is almost denied my stay saying that if you wont provide Aadhar card we will be not allowed to stay, and he has allowed us to stay just for humanitarian ground. OMG.... The breakfast is horrible and very less variety. The old rooms have water seepage issues. Dirty bathrooms. The front rooms are good and bathrooms are better condition. If you want to take a risk of staying in this resort , you have assumed that you are in 1980s. ****But I should mention that the service guy who was given service to us is very very good and just because of him we are able to stay in this hotel.

The room was spacious and ok. But the bathroom has leaking flush. Sea beach is good. Activities for children should be increased. Complementary breakfast was good. Overall stay was good except for the flush.

The place is located at ideal location. The room size is adequate the view is good. Right on the beach.But service and maintenance is extremely poor. People dont seem interested in guests. They do not have extrabeds and bed sheets and blankets.Restaurant food is good but takes ages to come. The menu is well spread. The bar does not have choices. Only one brand per beer, vodka, whisky,Overall decent place to stay only if you do not want any help and are willing to do all your work.

It is a nice place for weekend. Private beach we got entry for RS. 150 per head and 100 for kids. Swimming pool access LL be charged extra as RS 100. The beach is well maintained and good view. Nice place for weekend visits.

Had good time with my family. I stayed for two days first day breakfast was not so good, second day it was awesome. New rooms is been built near the beach which looks awesome. Wish i could have booked that room. Food is costly. I would advice that we can go to mahabalipuram which is just 10 minutes away and get food. No WIFI had a difficult time. Restaurant staff was good and cooperative. Room service was available and was good. I have been visiting this place often with my family.I hope the next time i visit the above things will be considered.Thank you

The worst experience ever. From the time you not greeted by the the most arrogant receptionist to the spoilt told being served at the restaurant.Really not what you expect in a beach resort.The menu items are not available and they prefer to only serve what has been left after lunch.All they are intrested is in making money in anyway possible. They charge extra to deliver to the room.Hope you avoid this place on your next trip if you want to have a great weekend.Didnt wanna be rude, but it was a really bad experience.

Even though i didnt have the smoothest of check-ins due to some technical issues , i didnt regret booking a stay at this resort ...stayed on New years Eve here & the new year party was amazing with Kollywood stars dancing the night away .. the kids play area & the pool both were excellent ..

Staff were friendly.... Swimming pool and the beach side are well maintained. Location is a big plus.Food is very bad not value for money. Rooms were not cleaned properly, even the pillow cover was not changed... There is No wifi in the resort... In the bathroom there is No exhaust fan and the worst part is, they have the hole for the fan which is just covered with a net, which makes it very unsafe... The last thing you want is been videoed thought the fan hole... If the Management take steps to change the above then this resort will be one of the finest place to stay...

Location : just few kms away from Mahabalipuram on ecrThis resort is there in service for many years, and hence very well known to many.Though the resort I small, facilities are decent. Recently they have renovated and built few more accommodations here.Swimming pool is really very neat and clean, but not that big.Food was good and nothing to complain on that.

Its really an Excellent Resort in ECR. Fully covered with Green, Nice swimming pool, Beach. Buffet Lunch is so tasty and so many varieties. Young guys can just go and have fun there full day without booking one room even. Only you can utilise their swimming pool, beach, Dining hall, Bar, Games etc . And they charge very nominal only. Nice photo shoot place also there. Really enjoyable place.

We are from Taskmoon Events. We did lots of day outing and team outing events in Golden sun beach resort, ECR. So far we happy. Advantages in Golden Sun Beach Resort will be the beach view. Its wide beach and very close to the resort. Disadvantage is the age and look of the property. Food and service are normal. So if you want to go for your day outing in Golden Sun, We Taskmoon recommended to go. Per head cost will be Rs.700

Very nice environment but you cant expect a star class room even though we pay the price for a star class room... Hotel manager is very kind and nice guy.... And the rooms need to be upgraded to latest spec still they have 1980s type of room... Initially the food seems to be more expensive but now they are providing free breakfast which is a good addition.... This resort is for people If you want to spend you weekend in a beautiful calm place....

Pathetic place to stay. Rooms not value for money..it waste of money..if you book you have to face tough time from your family. cottage room has mosquitoes, lizards, 1980 kelivinator fridge, broken window a.c, lights are equal to bed time lights, Cupborad and furniture made of dirty wood.. bathroom is not safe, main door has gaps even when fully closed. Not at all safe..Gaps in main door is big that small camera can be pushed. People had cottage rooms with better doors with less gap but they prefer to give me the one with big gaps...Staff wants money for service which is worth less. To conclude I wasted my money& time...

Had booked standard cottage room and it was stinking. There was a damp smell and there was water seepage stains on the walls. Was forced to upgrade to a suite paying additional Rs.1200. This room was pool and sea facing was much better than the previous one. Service level was poor to say the least.. The phones in the rooms did not work, the room service guys took their own time, the restaurant guys tell you that it will take more time to serve you lunch since they are serving a bigger group and we will have to wait. The whole place needed maintenance badly and not worth the money. Had paid. Hefty sum due to last minute booking thru MMT.

I booked a sea view cottage but when I went there thy gave me normal cottage. Room was neat and clean. Food is very expensive compare to the place and amenities thy have... thy charged 382rs for a chicken biryani...in menu it was mentioned as 270 rs then thy add GST then Servjce charge total it was 382 rs... when I asked that service charge should not be added without asking us thy said its compulsory as v mentioned this in our menu card... in menu card at bottom thy mentioned service charge is 20%... overal you ll be end up in payin 38% percent tax including gst and service charge..better avoid ordering any food here...

Room wasnt well maintained. Toilet seat cover was broken, slippery bathroom all over with no toiletries kept, no milk powder was available for tea coffee machine, towels were not given until asked for. Finally they requested and changed our room after 6 hours of struggling. TV was not functional properly, not properly pest controlled. Location was very good with beach side very good and the swimming pool was clean. Extra charges are very heavy like 150/- for a tube in swimming pool for 4 hours and water bottles at 50/- each plus taxes and so on. Breakfast was not buffet but a choice from limited list of items.Over all it was an average experience and definitely not good points for the room quality and service. May not visit to this resort ever again.

Value for money only for room/accommodation.Food quality pathetic..also extremely over priced... for example i ordered for icecream, I got Lazza Cup icecream (MRP 11/-) billed Rs. 50 + taxes...No GST TAX printed Invoice..only hand written invoice given...on demand of the same the restaurant manager told that they are currently exempted from the same..😎..very funny and strange to know that...how this hotel/resort got exempted from GST (TAX Invoice)...?if one plans to have dinner at their restaurant..should also be prepared to have the dinner with unlimited mosquito and other insects bites and definitely without fail the dish also along with those insects...else you should be ready to pay additional 20% on the menu chart to get the same served at the room to avoid the mosquito and insects along with food.

This is a best place for a day outing. The charge sums around 250+tax for adult and 200+tax for children. I had been there with my friends. We were 4 adults and 1 child altogether. We enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and along the beach. The playarea also has good activities like beach volley, badminton and much more. A very good place to hangout!! :)

Sunday it was a great experience with this resort.it was a while new exposure for us, food is very tasty and the hospitality and service is excellent,the level of care the attendants took was great it was an unforgettable experience

Its an average resort. Beach is good and they provide chair to sit and enjoy the evening. Provides livelihood to senior citizens. Hammock hanging from tree was good. Paths have broken edges and are lit with few oddly placed tubelights. Restaurant will frustrate you. Swimming pool has no dress code. Group on a day out package overrun the area so you will either be stuck in your room or struggle to get hold of resources.

Worst experience. Stayed there for two days. Absolutely no service. None of them turned up to clean the room, untrained house keeping...poor dining....charges bomb..will not suggest it for anyone.

Beach is the main attraction, they have hut like place where you can hangout with friends but think twice if you are going in the middle of summer its going to be very very hot.

Found it to be crowded on the weekends as it is not very spacious. The beach was nice with multiple activities for kids. Ample parking space.
