This temple is located inside a congested place. So if youre planning to go by car. Park the car before and walk to the temple. Inside temple its well maintained and it is a lord Siva temple. As other reviewers has mentioned it is a kethu parigara sthalam.

This temple is one of the Navagraha temples of Chennai (or Thondai Mandalam) devoted to Sri Kethu Bhagavan. There is a separate shrine for Kethu Bhagavan on the southern side of the sanctum. Special Poojas and Homams are performed to Sri Kethu Bhagavan during Raahu Kethu Peyarchi. This is also a Parihaara Sthalam for people having ill effects in their lives because of Kethu’s position in their Horoscope.

One straight road on the left before miot hospital will take you to this temple. Use Google maps for accurate location. Small obscure several centuries old only kethu stalam in Chennai. Powerful vibes. Run by individual priest. Most popular timing Tuesdays from 9 to 10.30am. Park your vehicle well before the temple and walk a few metres.

Sh
Review №36

Ancient temple. Has become very commercial and the chief priest here is highly money minded. They have spoiled the airy atmosphere with newly constructed mandapams around the pragaram. I am banging my head on why people still donate money to temple like crazy instead of donating to an old age home or orphanage. And as a result, the calm and quiet temple that used to be is now crowded and shabby.

This Temple is good for Ketu dhosham. Located near Porur.

Review №38

Excellent moorthi of Swami and Ambal. But very sad to see overwhelming land grabbing and very poor maintenance of the temple tank which has become a virtual garbage dump. The land grab is so much that the houses are built next to the compound wall of the temple. What has happened to the utsava moorthi is anybodys guess. People must visit this temple in large numbers so that some one takes up the cause...
