I’ve been a member here since birth, the place is great,the service is great but some of the rules and regulations frankly don’t make sense for example, Men without collared t-shirts are not allowed in the restaurant whereas women with such clothing are allowed they don’t even allow Minor members to bring guests in absence of Adult members.

Very nice place. It’s huge. Has a load to offer. They also organise many events including the new year party. Alcohol is at very cheap prices. Lower than liquor shops. A nice warm place overall.

This is such a nice place. It is located in Adayar. This has restaurant, lawn where they telecast movies along with food serving, sports center, lounge, swimming pool, tennis court and other numerous amenities. Beautiful place! To enjoy all these facilities we would have to be a member. It has to be done by enrollment. Please feel free to like the comment if it is interesting. Cheers.

Best place to spend quality time in weekend

We stayed here during our trip to Chennai. Our customer booked this for us. It turns out to be a health and social club. Although it was not a fancy room but it was quite comfortable. The staffs was very friendly and helpful. They were so kind and help us bought our breakfast. We were really touched. We tried their food and it was tasted good.

Very nice ambience👌 Has a European feel to it.. reminds one of the British era. Has a lot of facilities for its members. Hosts a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and restaurants. Has an elite set of members. I was fortunate to have been invited to a get together there.There is a deck cafe, bar cum restaurant, a fine dining restaurant and pool side cafe. Variety of cuisines offered with Veg and Non Veg fare.There are 6 furnished guest rooms, with a variety of entertainment, be it music, dance, tambola or karaoke. There is a well stocked library too.The GNC as it is affectionately called is conveniently located in Gandhi Nagar area, in the purely residential part. It has a good connectivity to the Airport, railway & bus stations and of course hospitals and malls too.The lobby and reception area, the sports zone, childrens play area and restaurants have been remodeled / renovated.Would recommend a visit for sure 👍

One of the best clubs in town. All the rest r run down or ancient. Food is decent. Place shuts by 11. One of the best sporting facilities this side of town. Tennis courts hosts some great players of the State.Packs a punch for thosr looking to settle into town n chill with pals

One of the best social clubs in chennai. The sports facilities offered here are really good. The bar and the food menu is decent. You do need to be a member to get in.The quality of the swimming pool is maintained well.

I have no issues with the club. The stench from Adayar river is overwhelming. It is absolutely disgusting. Its nothing but the smell of drainage. It spoils everything else about the place.

I have been long time member of the club. The club has a lot to offer and has wide range of activities for all ages and the swimming pool is the best place to beat the heat. The food out there is good and they have improved their menu to cater to everyone taste buds. They have a bar, roof top restaurant, restaurant, a sport bar, gym badminton court, squash court, billiards table, tt room, library pool table, cards room. So basically the club has something to offer for everyone.

Members only country club in the upmarket Adyar area. Good facilities including swimming pool, Tennis courts, gym, shuttle etc, library, bar, lawn and fine dining.Very well refurbished. Regular club activities including latest movies. Nice mixture of young and elderly members.

Worst experience ever in my entire life and there only motto is to squeeze as much money from you. They dont even bother about customer satisfaction. Terrible. Disappointed with their behavior too. I dont know what they are doing with all these unlawful money they got from all these people.

This is one of the better managed clubs in the city. It has a number of good restaurants, a great bar, a quiet lawn and a large selection of sports activities and infrastructure. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Is undergoing extensive renovations and the renovations done so far have been really impressive.

We are not members here but were invited a couple of time by friends who are members.We liked the company, the good food and the lazing around in the garden area.Also went to watch a Bollywood movie outdoors in the garden area... every Saturday a movie is shown.

Supposedly, a place of the Chennai elite. I found the food and service substandard. The food was served late and not worth the wait. Their lawns are poorly maintained with the grass not being mowed well. Add to it the rickety pedestal fans which are superannuated and impede any conversation that one may have in quietude. A piece of technical information: a member can sign in only 3 guests. So, plan accordingly while making a group reservation.

In the heart of old Chennai, the GNC has everything a club should have. Sporting facility, swimming pool, a bar and a fabulous restaurant. They have guest rooms that are clean and spacious and service is excellent.

They need a bigger air conditioned hall for dinner,especially for the hit n humid weather of Chennai. Otherwise a a quiet place.

Club was good but their restaurant system has food preparing and providing systems are lack of manners. We ordered Mutton Biriyani but we had without mutton meat which means only rice. What we can call that biriyani as chicken biriyani or mutton biriyani or prawn biriyani or EMPTY BIRIYANI !!! Worst
