Very old temple & very powerful God

A good Shiva temple. Dhandeeswarar is Shivas epithet. For worship, there are statues of Ganesha, the goddess Parvati, the god Murugan, and Shiva. Maha Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu add beauty to the temple. A nayanmar is also in the centre of the temple with Lord Shivas sannithi. The temple also includes some paintings inside. The temple seems to be ancient. It can be better maintained. Nearby is a small pond. I would like to see it maintained better. Velachery has a good temple.

Good temple dedicated to lord Shiva.Lord Shiva is portrayed as Dhandeeswarar. Inside the temple there are lord Shiva ,godess Parvati, lord Murugan, lord Ganesha sannithi is kept for worship . It seems to be a old temple. The maintenance of the temple can be improved. A pond is situated on the left side of the temple. Maintenance of the pond can be improved. A good temple in Velachery.

This temple has good old history for doing 80th and 60th marriage. Premises were well maintained. I was able to see trash bins all around.

One of the ancient shiva temple. It is said to be more than 1000 years old. One can feel the positive energy seeing the shiva lingam and Amma idol. In the inner praharam one can see yoga dhakshinamoorthy, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswathi Sannidhi. The idols are so nice to see. Durgai amman temple inside is so good to see. Outer praharam is maintained well. Sthala puranam is mentioned in the praharam. Abhishekam is so good to see. Evenings are good time to visit.

Great place to be proud of with a historical importance , shabbily maintained , renovated ruining the original Splendor. the inner sanctum and the praharam has maintained some of the original infrastructure. It has been built by the pandiyas whose signature is found in several places in the Temple entrance, as well as the inner praharam. the roof of the entrance has relief work of fish which is a signature of pandyas. there are lots of inscriptions which have to be explored to enjoy the temple for its archaeological heritage. Unfortunately it is currently being used as a religious place only.

Inner building constructed using black stones and outer praharam is with regular structure.Inside the temple we can get dharshan of mulavar Dhandeeswarar, Karunambigai ambal, Vinayakar, Subramaniyar with Valli and Deivanai. Inner praharam has deities of Suryan, Dhakshinamurthy, Vinayakar, Lingothpavar and Durgai, Chandikeswarar, Biaravar, Chandran and Lord Vishnu.
