There is a cooperative pharmacist at Impacops - Indian Medical Practitioners Co-operative Pharmacy and Stores in Chennai. Captain Srinivasamurthy created a cooperative institution that combined graduate and mercenary doctors. Imagbos was the company that he started in 1944. This cooperative warehouse was initiated aimed at identifying medicines preserved by some of the doctors and to give it to those who are ill. There are branches across South India. Some herbs are grown in the premises of Imbax. There are coconuts produced and used in milk, ghee, and medicines. The hospital also operates in Imbaxs campus.
