I am not from psychology background neither do I intend to become a professional counselor but still the course has so much to offer. You can use it for day to day life. Karthik sir is very much considerate towards everything and he make sure every student gets same attention. I enjoyed my time during classes. Even if you do not wish to become counselor just go for it. It will be life changing for sure.

I had recently attended few certificate courses from sir - and despite attending several courses, his content is constantly upgraded and there are many new takeaways. Sirs sessions are therapeutic in themselves and he provides a non-judgmental, encouraging, safe space to explore different counseling approaches and techniques, thereby appreciating and fostering every individuals unique style of counseling. I attended CBT course conducted by Mr. Karthick . I have known him over a decade as a faculty in Madras university. I have always been wanting to attend his classes and get trained under him as he had ocean of knowledge in psychology. It was a hurdle for me as I reside in the UAE. Pandemic made it possible for me to attend his class as he started conducting it online. It was worth every minute and penny I spent. This review is for the online Diploma course in counselling. The ONLINE COURSES are equally effective as the IN CLASS courses. The reasons being that you can attend it from the comfort of your home, technology is a boon as we can have practical sessions with the same effectiveness on zoom, as it encompasses body language and voice both, hence I would highly recommend everyone to take up this course especially in these tough times, since it gives you an amazing sense of purpose. I have long wanted to write this review and I am finally doing it. I have been coaching under Karthik Sir since the past few months; I initially did the basic course on psychology of everyday which motivated me enroll for the Diploma in coaching and counselling too wherein we learnt all the 10 techniques of counselling in detail and experienced live practical sessions too, and it was the right and a well thought of decision. I would be dividing this feedback into two part Firstly the content of the course and Secondly the qualities of the mentor; Mr. Karthik Sir. Its essential when it comes to any form of coaching, that the mentor has the right qualities and the skill sets which would make the course long lasting and enriching experience for the students. Firstly, the course material is extensive, so even if you are from the non psychology background, like me, it covers more than you can ask for. It also gives you the leverage to master those techniques your good at, it gives you a vast understanding of the various techniques of counselling based on various types of personality types, it offers you live face to face counselling session which over a period of time makes you understand how to use the same techniques in your style to make your counselling session effective, moreover the diploma course focuses a lot on live counselling sessions making it one of a kind counselling course that does not focus only on theory which absolutely has no value if you are unable to practice it, here I want to strongly convey a point that this type of practical sessions are not even taught at the level of the curriculum in colleges. Second part of my feedback is particularly for Kartik Sir, as a person he is very approachable, an amazing guide, very patiently answers all questions, has a god gifted ability to counsel, honest , a down to earth person does show unconditional positive regard for one and all, true to his word and a person to be inspired by. So, after this very long but comprehensive review, if any of you there have ever thought of understanding psychology and counselling skills the right way and really want to implement in their day to day life, I would recommend them to definitely invest your time and money in the Diploma course as I assure you, you will be amazed by what you have gained at the end of the session through knowledge and skill and your view towards life changes. Though counselling is an art, we can always develop it as a skill not only for others but to understand our limited thinking behaviors and make our lives more meaningful with better conflict resolution strategies.

Best Teacher. I dont remember what I have learnt till M.Sc psychology as I have 5 years of gap, I have planned to join this course and learnt how to use psychology theories practically in counseling . Every psychology students should do this course from Lakshmanan sir. God bless you sir 🙏.

I attended online certification course on EVERYDAY PSYCHOLOGY.It was a really effective one and worth for money as i had gained a vast knowledge in the field of psychology within few days.This is a most useful one especially for healthcare professionals to know on how to deal with the mental status of the patient and to cope up personal stress.In one aspect,the session was much interactive and interesting.The material provided will be of great use for future reference.Karthik sir on the other hand has carried it out effectively by clarifying our doubts patiently and ensuring that we understood the topic. I would like to thank Mr. Karthik for sharing his knowledge with the budding Counsellors through his varied courses. I had completed my M Sc in Psychology through distance education and hence was very much puzzled when i wanted to start my practice. I attended the online live diploma in counselling and life coaching. It was overall an excellent experience. The course material was well crafted and was rich in content. As a Psychology student, I was only exposed to theoretical knowledge in counselling, this course helped me bridge that gap. We had mock counselling sessions everyday and there was a visible improvement in every participant. The facilitator is very skilled and extremely encouraging. I attended 2 weeks Online Live Diploma Course via Google Meet and have completed the course successfully @ CCS Academy. I am new to this field but Karthik sir explained and taught us in such a way that people like me could understand clearly the techniques used in counseling and how to integrate those techniques to help the clients. He simply ignored unimportant things to learn and at the same time gave importance to the things to be learned invariably.23. We were taught about the model he built, the techniques used, various theories and approaches. Lots and lots of case studies were discussed to help us see a case from different perspectives and to understand the subject in depth. We have observation sessions where we can observe and learn from the facilitator conducting counselling sessions in real-time. Parallelly, we were also given plenty of opportunities to practice what we have learnt. We were consistently offered support throughout the course. Being able to do such an effective and quality course completely online is an advantage during this pandemic.
